I'm not questioning anyone's RIGHT to free speech, or to opposing the war.
But I do question the effectiveness of it. What are the consequences, intended and unintended?
Do you think anti-war protests, speeches, etc. have made Saddam Hussein more or less likely to disarm?
More or less likely to go into exile?
More or less likely to fight to the death, and increase the number of civilian and military casualties on both sides?
At this point in the process, do you think anti-war protests are likely to result in the U.S. NOT attacking Iraq? If you do, look beyond that result, and tell me what you see happening to the Iraqi people, to Saddam's willingness to disarm?
EVERYONE says Saddam is a brutal, ruthless dictator, and that he needs to go.
But only one side seems to be putting forth a credible way to do that (with force).
