i fiqured that was coming, im suprised it took so long! it looks like we may get the phantoms in allentown! saves me 45 min. and a trip down the surekill expway! padisfam2 is a big boston fan, i had to do some the other day. hopefully it will be better this weekend. hes a big losin lion fan also! the owners of the co. i work for all went to ps. i have the usc fight song on my cell yet. (im suprised i still have a job )

Another dad that's excited about a trip to Disney.

I am not nearly as obsessed (neurotic) as my wife but I dearly love all things Disney! We began our Disney history in June of '06, returned in June of '07, thrice visited in '08, and will visit another 3 times in '09.

Caught the Disney bug on our first family trip in april of 08, we stayed offsite. We will be staying at the contemporary 3/25/09-4/1/08. I would like to join the dis dad's club.

I did not hear that the Phantoms may move. Allenton is finally getting some decent entertainment. First the Iron Pigs and now the Phantoms. It is nice having the minor league teams around. My oldest and I love going to the Reading Royals and Reading Phillies games. The next thing you guys need is Arena Football!

they sold the team! and the old spectrum is coming down i didnt hear any of the details yet, but spec.core sold the team and they are looking for a place to call home and a place to play till a new arena is built.

wow! , congrats. i could never keep a secret like that, i start packing months before we go!! my dw would see me packing for some reason and would think im movin out and would be jumping up and down for joy!!! (im just kidding, i may be doing that next year in feb for our 25th wed. anv.) congrats! need any help, just ask, the guys wont steer you wrong!!

were drivers. we were down in oct. we use 100 gal. of gas total trip. it was $390 round trip. few weeks later gas started falling, it would of only cost $150. ya well, $250 in gas never stopped us before. i use to go into ohio about twice a year. the co. i work for deals w/ armstrong man. in sandusky. now they moved to s.carolina. i miss the ohio trips!!

ok, now i feel like im gettin old! my dd turned 16 today. i took her over to the dmv. the computers were down, you could take the test but you had to take it by hand. she told the guy "no problem". sat down and 8 min. later came back to the counter, i thought, now what? she looked at me and said that was easy! we sat for a long 10 min. i think i was more nervous than she was. the guy called her name and we went back to the counter, the guy said sorry, but you will have to sign this than you can have your permit!! i thought my ballet dancing,blue eyed,blond hair little girl was going to reach across the counter and yank the guy over the counter!!! she said thats not funny!! anyway, i took her out driving for the first time for 45 min. this afternoon, i was impressed! it seems like last week i was holding the back of her bike seat while she was riding her bike. wow, time goes by so fast!

As of Friday -- I'll only have 8 more years until I join you both. However, DS 13 is another story. I keep praying that they'll raise the driving age here to 17.

Oldest DS will be 16 in Nov. but doesn't have time yet.

WDW trip to Poly for 9 days in July, HS Academy AP Classes and
Marching Band just doesn't fit into schdule this Summer. Plus
the band that is The Conroe Tiger Band of Conroe,Texas will
be marching in The Tournament of Roses Parade this New Year.

DS and I get get to go to Disneyland too because the band
has been invited to march in a Disney Parade too.

July will not be here soon enough.

Any ideas for fund raisers will be appreciated or just Google
the Band Boosters at Conroe Tiger Band.

All ideas and help is appreciated.

DCL was alot of fun . 37 people from our church went. Everyone had a great time. May go back this coming October. Depends on prices and what everyone else would like to do.

Big day today for this DIS Dad. 90 days out!

As the submitter of #98 of our Club Criteria (Standing deal with DW that I can go to WDW every year as long as I take the kids), I pulled it off again this year. This time we're hitting the WL Villas and cannot wait!!


The 2009 Annual Father and Son "Boys Only Trip" Plan (so far...):

5/16 - Tony's Town Square dinner. I've read some bad reviews on this one, but I've never been in 25+ trips and that just seems plain wrong. Since we'll be in the MK for the evening for Spectromagic and Wishes it seemed like the right time to try it.

5/17 - 1900 PF dinner. I've been told to tell Lady Tremaine that my DS4 is a rich prince!

5/18 - Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner. I think my DS is old enough to enjoy the antics, we like ketchup, and we're staying at the WL so it should be fun.

5/19 - Crystal Palace dinner. I've done the BF a bunch of times, but never dinner. This was the only ADR that the CM made a point to tell me how good it would be.

5/20 - Ohana Best Friends BF & Tutto Italia dinner. We're actually doing BB or TL on this day so we'll have a nice BF first, off to the waterpark from the Poly, then dinner at Epcot for Illuminatons.

5/21 - Family Magic Tour at MK & Fantasmic Dinner at Mama Melrose's. Since Fantasmic only shows 3 times the week we're there, I booked this package first. I love the show, and want to make sure we get in.

5/22 - Sci Fi Dine In for lunch. Star Wars Weekends starts at DHS this day, and I want my little padawan to learn the ways of the Force from Jedi Mickey.

5/23 - 1900 PF for BF. Last day at the WDW, and I can't think of a better way to end our Supercalifragalisticexpialladocious trip with a BF with the same name.

Finally, does anyone know how to post a link in your signature that is a TITLE of a thread, Like "DIS Dad's 2009 Wilderness Pre-Trip Report". I would like to do a PTR and add it to my signature but don't know how . It took me a bunch of times to figure out how to post a picture.
