Hey DIS Dad's,

Here is an article from allears.net....................

The Disney Cruise Line is set to unveil the first-ever 3-D
cinematic film experience at sea. Guests will delight as
first-run Disney films leap off the silver screen and take on a
whole new dimension thanks to Disney Digital 3-D technology
being added to both the Walt Disney Theatre and Buena Vista
Theatre. Disney Cruise Line will celebrate the debut of Disney
Digital 3-D by hosting a special screening event for Walt Disney
Animation Studios' newest animated feature, "Bolt," onboard the
November 20 three-night Disney Wonder cruise. Guests will be
invited to a special midnight screening of "Bolt" at the Walt
Disney Theatre, complete with meet-and-greet opportunities with
walk-around characters from the film. The Disney Magic will
begin using Disney Digital 3-D during its December 6 sailing.
Leveraging this new technology, Disney Cruise Line will take 3-D
into uncharted waters in early 2009 with the debut of an
exciting new cinematic experience that combines full length
Disney Digital 3-D films with in-theatre effects. Tridimensional
images will combine with lasers, fog, streamers, and special
lighting effects to create an immersive movie-going experience
like no other at sea. During these once-a-cruise special
engagements, guests will feel the rush of being part of hottest
show in town as in-theatre effects enhance 3-D films featuring
popular Disney popstars in concert. For more details, read the
press release on our Disney News Blog here:

HHmmmm... awfully quiet around here...

14 more days!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: 14 more days!!!  Sorry, I had to do a quick happy dance!! We'll be there Dec. 7-13, so hopefully I'll have really good pics of MVMCP to share. :cool1: Anyone have any other cool shots they want to see? Oh yeah, if we can get a good view we'll be running a webcam from SSR. :yay:

Dance as much as you want! :cool1: No one will be able to stop me in January!

What a great time to go. We have discussed going before Christmas many times ourselves but just can't seem to work it out. One of these years though... :santa:

Have a great time and take lots of pictures of EVERYTHING to share with us.

I'd love to see the live cam from SSR but I won't be doing that again. Too many issues with Satellite Internet access.

Wow. I had no idea someone would do that to their dog. I mean, I've seen dog shows and such, but that is just crazy.

hi everyone!! havnt been on line the last 3 weeks. since we got home from wdw, my dw has me scapping wallpaper, painting the living room (trim too) oh and we have to do the hall (5 doors and trim in the hall) and oh my, look at this foyer, honey, hand me the paint samples , we (and i use the term we)

Yeah, can't wait to hear some trip reports.:thumbsup2 Only five weeks from today and we will be back at WDW for a short New Year's trip. Reading some good trip reports about the Holiday changes to the World will help pass the time and further build the excitement (if that is actually possible).:rotfl:

I'm hoping to find Goofy in his Christmas attire so I can get another pic with our mascot!:santa: :goofy:

hi marvali, if this helps, last year at chef mickeys, goofy was dressed in his chrismas attire. i think the only other time we seen him dressed was at the christmas party at the mk.(i mean dressed for christmas, not that the goof mans running around naked or anything)

It's been a few days since I last looked at the DIS, but I see not much has gone on around here. I haven't had a chance to talk about my recent trip to Disneyland, but can save that for another time. Right now just a quick post since tomorrow will be busy - at least the first half of the day.

It's a wee bit early since it is still Wednesday night and all - but

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
to all our Dis Dads!!!

I wish you all well. We'll be spending our morning delivering meals (our church is a co-sponsor of a county-wide meal for those less fortunate or down on their luck or just needing a helping hand - last year over 2000 meals were delivered - and this year the list is closer to 3000 what with the economy and all. This will be our 4th year of delivering - the boys just enjoy it so much, and it's a great way to teach them now the importance of serving others and not just yourself)... then home to watch the Thanksgiving Day parade from NY on tv, and then a nice afternoon of games and play while the birdie cooks. No company this year, and no traveling for us - so just the 5 of us at home. It will be nice.

And for any dads in a Disney park or resort this week - specifically tomorrow and of course here in the U.S. - enjoy the day with the extra special stuff that goes on for this very special holiday. I'm thankful for all of you, even though we may not have met face to face, I enjoy our online visits together, commentary and overall congeniality. God bless and again, Happy Thanksgiving!

Christopher

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
to all our Dis Dads!!!

Amen!! I'm thankful for many things this year especially my DW & DD8 who is currently watching the Macy's parade and going through the ads circling what she wants from Santa.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hope everyone had a great holiday! Just wanted to share some interesting news - a company I do business with has invited me to a three day conference on new products in February 16-18. The rub? It's, uh, at WDW!!!!!

My wife and DD3 were not as excited as I was obviously. I think they are even a little mad about it...guess that AP will get used sooner rather than later!!!!!

Ok, what do I need to do to get initiated and to join the club!?!?!?! I meet about 70% of the requirements! I loved the list...it is awesome to realize how much you love Disney, huh? I have a 6 month old son at home and we have our first trip planned next months. Thanks to colinsdad for the referral!

Scott
