Every so often you just have to take the bull by the horns and call someone...

Hey did someone mention my name? What have you guys been up to? An entire thread in a couple weeks!! Really!!! Holy Peanut Butter!

A quick update of what’s been going on with me.

1. Things are cooking here in Detroit. We are selling and leasing industrial buildings at rate that I haven't seen in many years.
2. Margie is a little over 2 months pregnant!
3. Virginia just got over pneumonia.
4. No trips to the world or vacations of any kind are in the works.

I noticed Don mentioned GKTW and April is our official GKTW fundraising month!!! So guys get your wallets out!!!

I haven’t had time to read lately so I hope everyone is doing well and welcome to all the new guys I haven’t

I am glad I at least got one post in DDC7.

Me too... so we can keep our joint "every thread" status intact... aren't you glad I called you to say get your busy self on here and post! I am. Glad to have you around again buddy, even if just once in a while.

Good to hear from you. Looks like things are going well (except for that no vacation thing). Congratulations on the addition to be.

Cause you are a freak!?!

:cool1::cool1:BTW, I finally broke the 200 post mark!:cool1::cool1:
Congratulations!!!!:cool1::banana::yay::woohoo:

Oh, and as long as we're pimping out out trip reports, mine is still going too. :thumbsup2
It looks like Bambi might actually let you finish it despite your puns too! :rotfl2::lmao:

No, because he is a red blooded, America-loving patriot! USA! USA! USA!

Oh, and congrats on the 200 posts. Now see if you can catch Stopher before the end of the week!:thumbsup2

What kind of cheese? I like a good bleu myself, but of course at Target it was probably just sliced blech. The bacon sounds good too. The other item... wow. What a combo...

It was an american cheddar. I wasn't able to verify the state of origin to make sure it was a nice Wisconsin cheddar though, Barry.

My son did scouts for several years and we watched Follow Me, Boys! one of those years. It was a really good movie. DS even liked it and he was only about 7 at the time - so I was surprised he could sit through it all without getting bored (he seems to have a short attention span.) I really like those old Disney live-action movies. I will be showing him more of some of my old favorites like: Gus, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The World's Greatest Athlete, The Shaggy Dog (the original), etc.

If I remember correctly, they sell that Folow Me, Boys! DVD at a Scout Shop for a good deal. Or they used to around here.

I looked and found that this movie is still available at the online Scout shop.

I have never seen this movie, but it is now going the top of my list of must see.

Didn't know it was your birthday, AJ! Page 1 doesn't have you listed for today. An oversight that I'm sure Don will have corrected on DDC VIII.
:bday:

I'd like to blame this oversight on JASON!!!!! Now I cant wish him a Happy Birthday tomorrow becuase it will fill insincere. Thanks Jason!!!:mad::headache:

So I call the DW and let her know I picked up our copy of "Tangled" for our girls. Previously we had talked about saving the presentation of the movie to our girls until the day we leave for our Florida trip - 17 days from now.

She says..."So do you want us to wait for you before we watch it?" Since I haven't seen it. They had all gone to the theater twice to see it themselves and have been re-living it everyday by singing the soundtrack in the car.

So I say "I thought we decided to wait until before vacation?" Her response "Well I know as soon as they see it, they're going to want to watch it." then a pause...."And I know as soon as I see it sitting there, I'm going to want to watch it to!"

Truth be told...The DW is as excited as the girls to see it - so no surprise before vacation. :)

CRUD. As our buddy Fed says: In God we trust, everyone else we verify. Or something like that. I guess Aaron gets a Happy Birthday Eve, too.

I'm ready for Kentucky to be out of the tournament. I've heard it once or twice over the past couple of weeks, but today I've had 3 different people tell me I look like this guy:

Why does it have to be a Kentucky player????? :sad2:
