So, um, can I join this group?? I'm a dad of 2, and after reading the rules, I think that I more than qualify. We're headed down in June, which will be our 3rd trip since Labor Day weekend, and I know for a fact that my excitement of making the trip easily equals or exceeds my kids.

I admit I had to find his year of death online, but the rest was, as you said, in my vast mental database, yes. I knew he'd been dead for at least a decade or more, but couldn't remember how long.

It was actually kind of fun this past Christmas when my 11 yo turned to me while I was watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" once more - and he said something to the effect of "wait a minute, the Burgermeister's voice - isn't he the same guy who did the Hanted Mansion?" I loved it! I guess I'm training them well...

Interesting tidbit you might but might not know... Eleanor Audley, the actress who ended up voicing Madame Leota in the attraction (and also Maleficient in Sleeping Beauty, as well as Lady Tremaine in Cinderella), was also auditioned and considered for the role of the Ghost Host. Like Paul Frees, she too was a prolific character actress, who outside of Disney played the seller of the house in the country that Lucy & Ricky purchased in "I Love Lucy" in the late '50's as well as Oliver's mother in the classic '60's tome "Green Acres" among many others.

Last night Shari was talking and said that she was wondering if eventhough we are going on the Disney Cruise in a few weeks if we might need to still go to Disney World in maybe August or December...hmmmm Keep your fingers crossed...From Her mouth to God's ear I hope LOL

Last night Shari was talking and said that she was wondering if eventhough we are going on the Disney Cruise in a few weeks if we might need to still go to Disney World in maybe August or December...hmmmm Keep your fingers crossed...From Her mouth to God's ear I hope LOL

After 3 TR's, I'm ready for a break, even if I am ready to be back there soon. Besides I get extra credit for doing mine LIVE. That way I've been able to complete them relatively close to the end of the trip. Of course that's not to say that I won't be taking pictures on this trip...

Well, my countdown ticker is null and void. I have to work out something soon. I'm long overdue for favorite place. I'm more bummed out than my son.

Well I didn't win the Letterman tics at the gift auction, only won 1 thing, but it is a Disney item so all is good. Won a Swarovski Minnie Necklace (worth $98)

Going to one Fri. nite hopefully can do better at that one

So I'm settling in to watch the showdown of USA vs Canada. Let's hope that the Maple Leaf will be represented proudly tonight.

Predictions? I'll say 5 -3 Canada.

How do you know you're a DIS DAD?????? When you buy a certain brand of eggs because there are Disney stamps on them.

They were at Shop Rite in CT. They were just a generic brand but they were advertising on the package Disney. I popped them open and there were Disney stamps on them. So I had to buy them.

Sitting here watching the game...... What a great game!!! They are really going at it. Seems like the US is always on the defensive but they are ahead. I wish we still had NHL hockey here in CT.
