The Dining Plan Is AWESOME!

We ate like kings (and a queen ) with this plan! I wasn't sure if we wanted to do the plan, but with the assistance of the DIS Board and Deb's menus from allears.net we realized that it was for us!
We ate at Councourse Steakhouse, Breakfastosaurus, Sci-Fi, Tony's, Le Cellier, Shutters (at CBR), and Cinderella's Royal Table.
The plan cost $920, but adding up the receipts...$1,454 (which is NOT including the shacks that we bought). If we figure in the snacks (approx. $90) a total savings of a whopping $624!

The plan was very well worth the $$$ spent...'nuff said!

Yes - the food was very good. The character interaction was good.

We had a PS for 10:10 and checked in at 9:45 - we didn't get seated until 11:40.
Overall, aside from the wait, everything was very good.

You're kidding me! You waited 2 hours to be seated!?! I have a late AR there on my first day of the plan and that scares me.

I'm sorry...that was a typo. It was 10:40 ( or just a bit thereafter). But the wait was terrible. It was raining that day ( Tropical Storm Arlene) and we were outside.

Hi point me in the right direction for a good explanation of the dining plan. Very simple words please as I am trying to cut down on coffee and I tell yeah I've been loopy for days. Trying to put together a reasonable plan for DH to agree to a trip next year. Thanks, glad you had fun.

I will start out by stating that I am not a big eater...my kids eating habits are intermittent...my DH is CONSTANTLY hungry. This plan worked out so well for us. It covered the "I'm not so hungry" to the "I am starving"!

And for those on free dining during Aug, Sept, Oct, that could be a $1400 savings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Whew* I'm glad that you only ended up waiting an extra 25 minutes after your PS time. My guess is the previous diners didn't want to go back out in the rain than you wanted to wait in the rain!
