We had steaks and potatoes and corn for Jim's birthday dinner. He loved the fact that he grilled them without Grandpa's "help". We have a friend that made him any cake he wanted and he asked for Carrot. It was yummy and I don't like carrot cake.

But I am so stuffed even the thought of food makes me feel blech!

Sorry Kate, but once again it is almost midnight and I am starving and now I will have to go find some of that type of food tomorrow. I can't post the type as it will upset the queen and I would hate to do that.

I also can't post where my Girl Scout troop is going tomorrow as it involves food, I can't even call them by their age level name as it involves food. Why must everything involve food??

I got off the plane, went to my nephew's house, went back to the airport and came home. No time to do anything. I didn't even get to a drugstore to buy a postcard!

Oh well. My leg is going to be in this cast for at least another month...

We were discussing it tonight and decided that the "nights" have been slanted more toward male vocals.

Kat put herself at a disadvantage with poor song choice and forgetting the words. We weren't very nice at the end of her second song....we howled, it was funny!!

Good night all. I have a raging headache and am working on only 3 hours of sleep from last night. I had terrible heartburn and just could not go to sleep. Think the Taco Bell I had had anything to do with that

Ahhhh. more posts about food, what is it about you people and food at almost midnight. It is like it is coming out of the walls or something. I think I am going to have to find something else to do that doesn't involve food.

When my son came to pcik me up from the airport, we stopped at the Chick-fil-a!

I called our GI doctor and told him I'd sought a 2nd opinion from the surgeon. I'm not going to hide the fact I'm worried about Rees. He agreed that it needs further exploration. So based on the Surgeon's recommendations, he is ordering an Upper GI and an abdominal ultrasound for Rees ASAP. I will let you know when it is scheduled. Thanks for the continued prayers.

I am so happy that you were able to convince her to go. Sometimes people just want to give. It's amazing the good feeling you get when you can do that.
