New owner (for us anyway), and STILL no pitching. What a sorry game!

I'm caught up, but leaving again. I've got some SERIOUS nervous energy for tomorrow's interview. I've heard of such a thing, but never experienced it -- until now. I'm going for a jog with Kyle, then hopefully the basketball game will almost be on so something can distract me.

We did spend an hour or so at BW3 (nice place for this, I know ) going over interview questions. You know, strenghts, weaknesses, scenarios, nursing theorists (grr!)..... Kyle said he'd hire me! But he also just said "because your cute", so I think he was lying

It's all those Valentine's celebrations

That is so funny!!! I never put 2 & 2 together before. I'll have to ask my mom about that! They were married in December and I was born the next November. My mother turned 19 the week after I was born!

They were really, really happy that I was born after midnight on November 16 (6:17am). My dad had started a new job and the insurance didn't take effect until November 16. Hunting season in Michigan starts on November 15 so dad had been out hunting early the morning of the 15th. Mom didn't want to wake him up when she went in labor. Silly woman!!!! If I was awake, I expected my DH to be awake!!!

Hunting is very BIG in Michigan. November 15th is a U.P. national holiday as it is opening day. The schools shut down for the day. There are so many students & teachers that hunt that they had trouble meeting their quota some years so they just stopped fighting it.

I have also been working on invitations, but have been reluctant to post since I don't want any PM's from the lurkers. I am happy to share with my DDA friends since you have all done so much for me but I truly don't want to be a designer to the general public. Am I being selfish?

Anyway, here are 3. The Pooh one is based off one of Travelin Gal's invites and Chef Mickey was inspired by Denise's Chef Mickey shirt (thanks to both!!) And the princess one is for my niece- not sure Kyle would care too much about it...

I like all 3.

I have never stayed at ASMo, but I have stayed at Pop & ASMu. I really like Pop the best as far as transportation, they do not share a bus. That was really the only problem with the All Stars. I think Music might be the 1st stop, so it might not be a problem for you. Sorry I was not much help lol

I need to hear the pros and cons between All Star Movies and Pop Century. We stayed at Pop in Dec '04 and liked it, but DH suggested trying somewhere new. Of the All Stars, Movies appeals to me the most. Does anyone have any experience that would sway me towards All Star Movies or Pop Century for this trip?

I was not planning on another trip this year, but I could not resist the free dining. Had it last year & loved it! We will be going Sept. 30th - Oct. 6th, staying at AKL. Shhh don't tell my boys, they think we are staying at Pop Century Planning on going to MNSSHP on Oct. 2cd, I can't wait

Kate - Just want to say that Nicholas and I love the Power Rangers squares. I was thinking of doing something different other than a tshirt and couldn't decide what to do with those little squares.

So then I got to thinking....he doesn't like his Spiderman undies as he complains that the waistband bothers him. So he has regular "tightie whities" that he wears. Wouldn't a PR square look good right on the center of those?!?!

Kate The signature designs are amazing. Maybe show Nick some pictures of DL to get him excited about that trip. The boys loved getting to ride a Gold Dumbo and we got the gold teacup twice. I think they're extending the 50th through the end of the year.

Well, DH said I could book a free dining trip if I can get it. We have to stay at POR as I think it's the only hotel (aside from deluxes) that will fit 5 and a baby. So PD that we can get POR Sept 30-Oct.8. So now trying to figure out ADR's.

Could you please pray for our neighbor Mr Wilson?


I noticed I hadn't seen him the yard the last couple days. After school on Mondays Erich always brings the Wilson's garbage can back up to their house from the road.He came running home saying Mr Wilson fell and hurt his head,he's in the hospital and paralyzed on one side. So Joe and I went over to see what was wrong. Apparently late Fri. afternoon he fell outside,maybe off a ladder,his wife isn't sure.Joe had been with him about 2:30 pm Fri. afternoon helping him get a tire off his boat trailer.Mrs Wilson got him in the house ,he said he felt nauseous and went to go up stairs to the bathroom were he fell again and hit his head VERY hard on the corner of the wall.. Their daughter took him to the ER where the did a cat scan and immediately got him to surgery as he had a terrible brain bleed. He's unconscious and they believe his paralyzed on his left side.

I am stunned.

He's only 71,such a character.When Erich was 2-5 years old he followed Mr. Wilson all over the place,we use to call Erich, Dennis the Menace.Mr. Wilson is shaped like Dennis's Mr. Wilson ,always has a plaid shirt on but he has a full head of white hair and a smile on his face and always a joke or a wise crack when you see him.

We've been neighbors for 14 years.He has been the BEST neighbor. Please send your prayers and good thoughts that he recovers.
