Could you please pray for our neighbor Mr Wilson?


I noticed I hadn't seen him the yard the last couple days. After school on Mondays Erich always brings the Wilson's garbage can back up to their house from the road.He came running home saying Mr Wilson fell and hurt his head,he's in the hospital and paralyzed on one side. So Joe and I went over to see what was wrong. Apparently late Fri. afternoon he fell outside,maybe off a ladder,his wife isn't sure.Joe had been with him about 2:30 pm Fri. afternoon helping him get a tire off his boat trailer.Mrs Wilson got him in the house ,he said he felt nauseous and went to go up stairs to the bathroom were he fell again and hit his head VERY hard on the corner of the wall.. Their daughter took him to the ER where the did a cat scan and immediately got him to surgery as he had a terrible brain bleed. He's unconscious and they believe his paralyzed on his left side.

I am stunned.

He's only 71,such a character.When Erich was 2-5 years old he followed Mr. Wilson all over the place,we use to call Erich, Dennis the Menace.Mr. Wilson is shaped like Dennis's Mr. Wilson ,always has a plaid shirt on but he has a full head of white hair and a smile on his face and always a joke or a wise crack when you see him.

We've been neighbors for 14 years.He has been the BEST neighbor. Please send your prayers and good thoughts that he recovers.

DH has a request.

A lot of folks in DH’s office are acting very “ho hum” we are at work, blah blah blah. He said they are walking around like Eeyore.

I said maybe you need the Eeyore award. His hope is that people will change a bit and be a little happier.

He loves the idea.

Kate thanks,I didn't even know they had family suites. As we have never stayed onsite before. That's what is so exciting about this trip for me finally getting to stay in the magic. Of course, DH is more excited about the free food. I just hope we can get it. I guess I'm getting up at 4 AM tomorrow and hope I beat the crowds.

Ok people...I have worked on some bad projects before....but nothing and I mean NOTHING could have prepared me for the absolute horror of trying to make one of those tye dye shirts!!!! It was like an episode of the I Love Lucy Show...dye flying through the air...shirts falling...kids crying...Bill swearing...I basically dyed everything around me except the dog!!!!!!!!I can't imagine this shirt turning out. to all of you who made them!!! I am in awe!

Kate...looks like you will have to make them for the group...

We made about 300+ easter eggs, a tradition that my Grandmother started long ago, out of potatoes, powdered sugar, butter and of course chocolate. We also made Peanut Butter and Coconut variations. Been a long day.

Kristine - that is exactly the way I felt when I did mine, which is why I only let them set for 4 hours. I couldn't wait to undo them and see how they looked. I thought for sure they would be awful. But as I unbanded them and held them up I squealed in delight that they actually came out. John came running from the other room to see what the commotion was about. I was literally jumping up and down because I thought for sure they were a disaster. Have faith!!

I have a few gaps I was wondering if anyone had another restaurant for Epcot to recommend and has anyone tried both Mama Melrose and H & V that can give an opinion? Any other ideas. This will be my first major trip (staying and eating on-site so much)

I'm not too confident...it really was an awful experience and a terrible mess! Somehow I soaked through my shirt...and I am not kidding..I have blue ****s! Can you just imagine what Bill will say to that?!
