For those of you that change resorts during your stays (& don't rent a car), how do you get your bags from one to the other? Our June trip is scheduled to start the day after our anniversary. I'm trying to convince Chuck to go a couple of days early so that we can celebrate our actual anniversary at Disney. It would also allow us to spend two days at POR before transferring to Pop for the week with my girls, mom, sister & her kids.

I am wondering this, too. I guess we'll just take a cab from AKL to Pop or vice versa.:confused3

Tammi, I loved the pumpkin pictures.

Elizabeth, I'm with your DS. I hate getting gunk on my hands. It is just totally gross!

DS is tactile defensive. Not as bad as he used to be, but he hates anything that will adhere to his hands. He would NEVER put his hands in paint, shaving cream, pumpkin guts, or anything else that would stick to him. He can't stand face paint or even temp tattoos. I can't stick my hands in anything gooey or sticky, can't stand to have water drip on me or air blow on me. One of my old bosses used to fill the sink with soapy water and leave it sitting - I HATED to stick my hand in there to pull the drain plug!:scared: DS obviously got his issues from me.;)

Becky sounds like you had a great weekend! Hope you can get some rest tonight.

Becky, it sounds like a good weekend! I'm glad it didn't rain on you the whole time, and I'm glad you didn't haev to sleep in a tent in the rain!

Janet, I hope you have a FABULOUS dinner in Vegas to celebrate your anniversary!

I must say there is a HUGE difference in Honey Crisp apples from Whole Foods vs. the ones I bought today at the grocery store. The ones I bought taste like plain old apples! NOTHING like the ones from Whole Foods in taste or crispness. Good thing they were on sale and I only bought 3. The sticker said Honey Crisp but I think maybe they are just big plain apples.

I think I will get him one, I know he would get a kick out of it! This is the closest to his birthday that we will be at Disney for a while.

Now if I could stand the heat & humidity(the Oct. trip was hot enough for me) Riley & I could maybe sometime celebrate our birthdays together in August at Disney.

I say go for it!

I'm wondering the same thing with Nicholas. His bday is the 2nd and we get there on the 9th.

Becky - sounds like you had a busy and fun weekend!

Let him wear it all week. If anyone asks just tell them that this was his birthday trip, but it's a little early. I've even had CMs tell us to celebrate all week.

Robyn - I hope Eric's procedure goes smoothly! :wizard:

I don't have an opinion either way on the birthday buttons.:confused3 In 2006 I wore a button the day before my birthday and the day of and that was all. I think if the kids want to wear a button a week or two early or late it's not a big deal.:)

Great pictures, Deb. The pizzas made me hungry. I LOVE pizza!

I need to decide which projects to work on tomorrow. I have sewing project cluttering the living room. I need to figure out which pictures need to be printed for our autograph scrapbook and get those sent off. Is Snapfish a good one to use? I also need to pay bills and I need to get my ornaments together and in the mail. I keep telling myself one project at a time, one project at a time :lmao:

Evening all...

Janet- Happy Anniversary!!

Tammi- Love the hunkin carving pics.

Becky- Sounds like a fun exhausting weekend!!

Vicki- I think spending your anniversary in WDW sounds lovely. I use to work for Northwest Airlines eons ago. I think they are about the same as all the other out there. The difference in fares would seal the deal for me.

Elizabeth- Enjoy your bonus day off this week!!

Deb- I voted too!! Cute Cute Cute!

Jen- Enjoy the concert tomorrow. Find yourself a good one ;)

Emma had her next to last soccer game and we got killed. I think the score was something like 10-1. It was so cold at the field.

We still need to carve the girl's hunkins. Hopefully it will get done before Halloween. Tomorrow I am taking the girl's to visit my grandmother at the nursing home. The kids get to trick or treat from the residents and then they have a magician put on a show. Eric will enjoy the peace and quiet as tomorrow afternoon he is insuring that I will never have to change my screen name ever again ;)

Love the recap so I am going to ditto and:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: to poor Eric

Good luck to Eric tomorrow. I hope it isn't too painful for him. Just make sure he sits for the next few days...limit the walking, mowing, raking, etc. Trust me.

Good night all.

I've always heard if you have three, you should have four. You know, even numbers at Disney. :teeth:

Seriously though, I hope Eric has a quick recovery. :wizard:

Ok, those that just stayed at Pop, does it have a curtain between the room and the sinks like POR does? In looking at some recent pictures, it doesn't look like it does. This is a necessity when you have two adult daughters staying with their parents. Any suggestions on what we can do to make one if it doesn't already have one? I think I've seen some suggestions at one point but can't remember. Thanks.

I couldn't find any at our local grocery. I really would love to try them. But I will not drive all over looking for them. :confused3

Looks like a fun day. Thanks for the heads up on the game. Emma would love it!

They don't have any....don't have any suggestions sorry. We made Jim go into the bathroom while we all changed. We've got it down to a science.

No there isn't. I have read on other threads where some have taken a tension shower curtain rod & used this to hang a curtain.
