The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 30

Abi was very similar...once every 3 days or so until she was about 5 actually. Now we know dinner is done because she excuses herself to go potty.

My neice walks through the door at 3 PM everyday after school and immediately hits the bathroom. Just like clockwork.

Poor Colby

He had the one huge episode then he was fine. He just asked for pizza for breakfast so I guess he has fully recovered.

We have bowling this morning then the party at 1 PM. It started raining here around 10 PM last night and it hasn't stopped yet. The weather forecast says the real rain hasn't even gotten here yet I am so glad that I found a new location yesterday or I would be freaking out now

Health reasons are the reason I have been loosing the weight also.

Health issues (which had not yet arisen) were the main reason I undertook the weight-loss program to begin with.

I love Kathrin's hair too.

I like it too. Wish I had curly hair, instead of so straight that even the stylist can't give it body.

Deb, you have not had the full storm yet if it just started last night. We have had so much rain, that our sump pump has been running.

So Jim and I went to a small group at our church to try it out tonight. The only other couple there was absolutely wonderful It seems that they are very, very similar to us.

There was a reason that it was just the two couples....so we could get to know each other better.

He retired from engineering and is now a shark pooper scooper at the Denver Aquarium and she gives riding lessons at their home. They have already invited us to bring Abi over to ride a horse.

It was a good way to end a super horrendous week. I basically turned in my resignation today...I have informed them that I am actively pursuing other job opportunities.

Meeting a new couple sounds like just what the doctor ordered to end your week I hope the job hunt goes well. Make sure to choose something fun, it helps if you like your job.

With that I am going to head to bed (finally)

We HAVE to clean the house tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last full presentation of the band(I am going to try and get pics for your DS, Elizabeth as they are using the extras)

Abi has decided (I think) to be a waitress so I am going to try and piece that together tomorrow.

How exactly does a waitress dress We wear black pants or skirt, black shoes and either a white, pink or burgandy top. We all have black little aprons with our leather book of checks and a few pins. I'm not sure anyone would distinguish me as a waitress versus a movie theater employee Good luck

I love Kathrin's hair too. She bit the bullet and had about a foot cut off a couple of months ago. The best part of the cut is that her curls are natural so that is truly a wash and wear style!

I agree. I made a conscious decision to lose weight so that I could be here with my kids for a long time to come. I can't tell you how amazing I felt being 60 lbs lighter. I feel like a kid again.

Stephanie take care of yourself and get lots of rest. Get those knees checked out too. We need you at running/dancing speed before our next DDA meet. You are sooooo much fun

Colby went to bed at 8:45 and quickly fell asleep. About 1/2 hour later he woke up vomiting and rather than yelling to us he ran from his room, down the hall to the bathroom on the other end of the house. There was a trail the entire way What a mess we had. We managed to get him cleaned up thanks to a double bath and then attacked the mess. He is sitting on the couch now acting just fine I think that he may have swallowed phlem, but that is just a guess. We could be in for a long night.

How is he feeling this morning?

Good Morning DDA,

All this talk about sleepovers brings back many memories, I have quite a few under my belt. My daughters are five years apart but both of their birthdays are in January, one year I let them have a double sleepover, so I had a group of five year olds and a group of ten year olds.

We did makeovers, pizza, and various games, very little sleeping, they had a blast and their friends talked about that party for years to come. Make sure you have plenty of food, they are me out of house and home.

That sounds scary. I'm glad my kids' bdays are nowhere near each other.

Poor Stephanie. I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. Get those meds in you and GET BETTER so you can enjoy your memories!

Honestly... don't feel badly about not reading all the drivel that was posted while we were gone.

And, as for a maid... I have an idea Let's get a DDA maid and send him or her around the country like our Pal Mickey's did for a while! When one of us goes on vacation, the maid can get the house cleaned while we are gone, and house-sit in the process. Anyone have an idea where we would find an employment office that could help us with this task?
