How were the hunkins? Any pictures?

This patch was pretty cool. The picking area was very nicely laid out and much better than the hills we had to maneuver last year. The play area was neat, but soooo much hay! I thought I was going to have an allergy flare up yesterday, but somehow managed to avoid it. I'm downloading the pictures now and will post some soon.

I had a fabulous time!

To Deb, Chris, Chanon, Janet, Anne Marie, Terry, Stephanie, Lindsay, Kristine, Bill, Vicki, and Chuck - You all are the just the nicest people. I'm so glad that I found this "home" and that we can come here together to share our lives. It was wonderful meeting each of you. I'm just sorry we aren't closer so we can do things like this more often. Thank you all for a great time!

We totally agree. It was wonderful meeting you and Bob as well as all the others. I can't imagine a better adult trip :thumbsup2

I concur, Tammi! :goodvibes

It was great meeting Bob, too. So, what were his final first impressions of the World?

Yes, Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, he had a good time, and we are still planning on going in December with the kids, but I'm sorry to say that I don't think he "get's it." :( Maybe when he is there with his daughter that will change. I don't know. :confused3

He did make a good Mug Man :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: We bumped into him on Sunday Morning as he was headed out to fill the mugs and he said you were still sleeping  I'm sure that he will have a different view of WDW through his daughter's eyes. You guys also took a commando approach on this trip due to the time constraints so maybe a more leisurely pace will sell him over too :wizard:

So who is unaccounted for, Janet, Chanon and Elin?

So i have to ask for some more prayers--

I had a great time lastn ight and ths morning we all were just lounging around watching a movie--i had left my cell upstairs...the movie ended and we were going to start another when i thought i should check my phone--Ii had 7 miissed calls. My dad was admitted into the hospital for chest pains. They thnk they have ruled out a heart attack but he has an irregular heartbeat. He is in there at least ti tomorrow.. i spent from 1 til now ini the hospital...im exhausted and anxious..please keep my dad in your prayers

I hope I find a good news update as I catch up, but sending loads of :wizard: and prayers as well!!

**PRAYERS FOR REES**

I just received a phone call from Denise. She is on her way to pick Rees up from home. John had to go to school already this morning and pick him up. He was having all the same stomach problems but this time he was also having uncontrolable shaking. They are taking him directly to the ER where the DR. from the GI office will be waiting for them. This is kind of a mixed blessing since this might be the only way to get an appointment with him.

Denise asked for everyone to lift up prayers for Rees. Please pray for wisdom and knowledge for the Dr.'s to find a relief for his pain and peace and continued patience for Denise and John as they go thru this.

I will update you when I hear something back from her.

Lynn

And the funniest thing seen (not the man in orange, he got in my way). They collected wagons in the parking area by loading them up on this golf cart. I would never have imagined that you could get that many wagons on a cart.

Yup....I want to thank both teams for wearing each other out...it will be much easier to sweep you now!!:rotfl:

I'm going to have to go with...NO WAY!!!! I'm leaning on the side of the Rockies are too relaxed to continue their streak. The Sox on the other hand are hot and ready to roll! ;) :rotfl:

Tia, nice pictures. How did it go with Chase's mother?

Pictures from the hunkin hatch....
Tia - I can't believe how grown up Terra is looking. Her 'bob' haircut is so cute. Your pumpkin patch looks identical to ours. Same rope bridge and tire horses, as well as pumpkins as far as the eye can see.

Do we know anybody who lives in Maine? I got an e-mail that one of the girls I have known for years through volunteering is moving to Maine. She is moving up there with her boyfriend, so I really hope things work out for her. She's my age, but I think maybe she kind of rushed into this relationship. Anyway, she said to let her know if we are ever in Maine. Can't imagine that I would be, but you never know!:rotfl2:

We camp in Maine most every year. Usually we go to the coast, but Lake Sebago is beautiful too.

Good Morning DDA!

Welcome home Tammi, and Lindsay!

Steffy, and Terry have fun on your last day!
I bet you guys are a hoot! Wish I could have come to say "Hi!" to Mickey one more time!

Jen, glad to hear that your Dad is home!

Heidi, I can't believe that you have your ornament sent already!

I hope to go out this weekend and look for my recipients! We have until Thanksgiving, right?

Have a great day all!

Oh, I just found out that my one auction made the headlines on another website as one of the most viewed items on EvilBay! I can't really beilieve it!

Over 500 views on the one, and over 70 watchers so far! I wonder what the ending bid will be?:confused3

I might have to seriously think about doing this as a side job!

We might be taking another trip to Disney before we know it!

We told you they were amazing. I can't wait to hear the final price.

So who is unaccounted for, Janet, Chanon and Elin?

Chuck and Vicki haven't checked in yet either.

Elizabeth- I got Cold Stone Creamery Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Creation-chocolate ice cream, pb, peanut butter cups and fudge....it's yummy and I love ice cream but I hardly ever eat more than 5 bites of ice cream at a time.

Do you order the like it size or kids? All of our Cold Stones let me order the kids size. It is just the right portion when I want to splurge on good ice cream! (Not to mention almost half the price.)

Good morning, DDA!!! I'm still a little ways back, but a request is being made for the computer and I need a shower so I'll have to come back. I just wanted to say WELCOME BACK!!! to all of our October DDAers. I hope that you had a wonderful time. I can't wait to catch up and read all about it.

A minor setback to 5 days at the World. ;)

Surprisingly though, the kids' dad did all their laundry and sent home clean clothes.

Off to get the kids up.

:scared1: (just because I can't post the fainting one from work)

I am glad the kids liked the presents you brought them home.

I am sorry Bob didn't get captured by the magic just yet....we all still have hope that he'll come around when he sees his princess in the World.

Prayers being sent right now!!!   :grouphug: :grouphug:

Thank you Lynn for posting this!!

Kevin designed our Halloween card tonight. The picture of the four of us on the "bus" is another one of his Photoshop masterpieces. It's a compilation of three pictures: Alyssa and me, Matthew, and Kevin. :rotfl:

Halloween07Card.jpg

Goodnight DDA!

Kevin has some mad skills with PhotoShop! What a great card! :thumbsup2

Lindsay - THANK YOU for picking up the MNSSHP pins for DH! He will love it! I didn't choose a seat when I put the hold on the ticket, but now that I know I can't choose the same seat twice I won't choose one until I am ready to purchase! I looked at available seats but that was it. I figured I would book aisle and window for DS & myself and go back and buy the middle seat for DH IF he can go on the same flight with us. If he is coming on a different day I'll put DS directly beside me. Now, what day looks good for you to grab lunch or a drink or dinner or something?

You're more than welcome! I felt badly that it wasn't released until the evening of the day we left in September, so I was glad there were still some up for sale at last week's MNSSHP. You would have been proud of all of us, queing up for pins, counting down to 7 p.m. ;)

My Christmas ornament package was delivered yesterday. :cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

How cool!

Now fess up - who did Heidi have, and what did you get?!?

I purchased mine at the World, but want to add a little something to the package before I send it off. :goodvibes

I'm so excited that it's almost the holidays! I love Christmas, particularly the music, but just haven't been able to get into the mood with 90-degree heat. With finally some cooler weather in Dallas, I busted out the music yesterday. :goodvibes

Morning all--headed to work

Dad ended up cominng home from the hospital late last night...They dont know what happened ,but they called it a warninig--now we just have to rush him in if it happens again

have a great day

That's great news, Jen! I will continue to pray that this was truly just a warning, and that he'll have good health from here on out!

The kids were happy with their gifts, thank goodness. Nicholas got a sorcerer mickey shirt and a mickey head key chain which he will use as a zipper pull for his backpack. The other one broke. Alyssa got matching mickey head earrings and a necklace and a mickey hair tie. They both got some Jibbitz too.

Glad they liked their gifts!

Except for the transportation, every part of our trip has been fantastic. Yesterday Ratatoulee tried to run off with me. He actually was taking me out of the meet and greet area!! I was on cloud nine.

Everyone has loved seeing Chuckie in his Halloween costume.

I did feel a little POP when I was walking yesterday, so I must call my Dr. to get in earlier than next week. So there was both Stephanie and I limping along :lmao: :lmao:

Off to see the castle one more time.

Later Guys

I hope your last day is wonderful - yikes about the pop! I hope it's nothing to be worried about.

And Chuckie was so cute in his costume.

Surprisingly though, the kids' dad did all their laundry and sent home clean clothes.

Will wonders never cease? Good luck with laundry!

Oh, and I bet Bob might feel differently in December after watching his DD there. I think that would likely make any parent melt! Now you just need to butter her up! :rotfl2:

Welcome home Tammi, and Lindsay!

Thanks, Tom!

See - we told you you had a gold mine on your hands! That is outstanding news!!!!!! I can't wait to see what they both go for! Will you be listing the others? (I sent your links to my family, but I don't know that they're interested in those particular auctions since hopefully those outfits wouldn't be warm enough for December touring. My SIL did comment on how talented you are!)

I'm going to have to go with...NO WAY!!!! I'm leaning on the side of the Rockies are too relaxed to continue their streak. The Sox on the other hand are hot and ready to roll! ;) :rotfl:

I think they are a little relaxed too....but they've also played some games in the snow...you should have seen the slides they perfected on Sunday:rotfl2:

Okay not a sweep but I don't want a 7 game World Series either. Plus we have to keep the streak alive 20 of the last 21 games won!!:cheer2:

Do you order the like it size or kids? All of our Cold Stones let me order the kids size. It is just the right portion when I want to splurge on good ice cream! (Not to mention almost half the price.)

I got a like it....usually Jim and I share one....I've never asked at our Cold Stones, though they do let Cassidy get a kids creation when she wants.
