I went back and found the pictures. She's beautiful. :goodvibes

They were fun, but a little wet. We were over in Epcot WS late Sunday afternoon and it wasn't as bad crowd-wise as Saturday sounded. I thought it was quite managable. Although they did say it was crowded early in the day.

I'm sorry to hear that the rain affected you guys. I did wonder if it would - we sat on the runway at MCO yesterday for almost an hour, waiting for storms to pass. Gotta love Florida weather!

Glad to also hear that Epcot was more manageable late yesterday!

So we were saying goodbye to EPCOT. :sad1: And using a TT FP from yesterday when the rain closed the ride.

So Terry gave the CM the FP and explained why we were late.

And the CM told her she needed a field sobriety test.

CM: Were you drinking tonight?

Terry: Yes, I was.

CM. Okay, you passed that part. Now, can you say supercalifrageliousexpodious? (I'm sure I spelled that wrong:goodvibes )

Terry said it.

CM, Now spell it.

Terry.. s u p

CM, sorry that'w wrong.

Terry laughing, Ok. It i t. By this time I'm laughing so hard I'm almost on the ground.

CM Okay, one last thing, can you catch your card? And he starts waving her FP all over. We could barely feel our aching legs/feet we were laughing so hard. We love Test Track. Nice to say goodbye to EPCOT from the track.:yay:

Had to share. :dance3: Now I have to pack.:sad2:

We go to tea in the afternoon. The Beach Club Villa is a lovely vacation home. The next time Terry and I come to Disney, we'll be staying at Port Orleans FQ. We need two sinks, mousekeeping everyday, towel animals and a short walk from the bus to the room. Every night we have wanted a stretcher to remove us from EPCOT. We're exhausted.

We have had a ball. There is no way I'm ever going to catch up on 200 pages of notes.

We called my son to check us in with SW. (We were at Fantasmic). He can't get the number I gave him to work. Finally he calls SW to get the confirmation number it was I5, not 15. :rolleyes1 Anyway, he's telling the SW guy, "My mom and her friend are all liquored up and I can't get them checked in online." Terry and I had the giggles. :dance3:

Anyway, I've got to pack. Terry is all packed. We're going to open the MK, so I have to have bell services come really early to colllect our bags.

I'll be "talking" to you all on Wednesday. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Welcome Virginia!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

You crack me up, Stephanie. Have a safe trip home, and enjoy the MK and your tea!!! :goodvibes

Come camping next summer!!!!

I could come up with a ton of stuff....I am pretty good at selling Colorado. I don't think it would take much to convince my family to come there...but right now Ama takes precedence.

Now there's an idea! I'll have to talk to Alan about it, and see what he thinks!!! It would have to be sometime in late July or early August. He is leaving for China in late August for the Olympics, and a camping trip might just be a good vacation!

I had a fabulous time!

To Deb, Chris, Chanon, Janet, Anne Marie, Terry, Stephanie, Lindsay, Kristine, Bill, Vicki, and Chuck - You all are the just the nicest people. I'm so glad that I found this "home" and that we can come here together to share our lives. It was wonderful meeting each of you. I'm just sorry we aren't closer so we can do things like this more often. Thank you all for a great time!

I concur, Tammi! :goodvibes

It was great meeting Bob, too. So, what were his final first impressions of the World?

Well, I'm going to say goodnight. It's a bit chilly in my house, and I think a nice, warm bed with my DH and dog is exactly where I want to be! It's just too bad I didn't know this cold snap was coming in time to air out my down comforter and get it prepped for the winter!

Good night, DDA, and good morning, early risers!!!

Well, he had a good time, and we are still planning on going in December with the kids, but I'm sorry to say that I don't think he "get's it." :( Maybe when he is there with his daughter that will change. I don't know. :confused3

that would be great....before marching band camp starts!!
The Olympic Training Center is so cool!!! (even when your tour guide gets sick)

There was the coolest campground we went by on one of our drives...I would love to stay there.

There's the Renaissance Festival. If we wanted to go up to Wyoming....the Cheyenne Frontier Days. Ohhhhh....in Colorado Springs there is the coolest renactment park.

Of course all of these places are day trips from my house so I know them well.

Oh the fun I could have with one of my "twins". :goodvibes

Ok, I'm just buzzing with ideas!!! I think I can "guilt" Alan into the trip! He's really feeling badly about getting to go to China without me (don't tell him, but I really don't want to go!). I bet it wouldn't take much to get him to do it! Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm going to say goodnight, as well! I'm so glad that our family members are returning safely from their fun in Florida! Can't wait to hear more about it all! To all the rest who were left behind, it's been fun driving up the page numbers!!! It was great to get to know you all a little better!

Jennifer - get some sleep, as you can! Here's hoping that Virginia is a good sleeper!!!

Jennifer (tink) - try to keep yourself as calm as possible. Just remember, we are all rooting for you, and will be here for you, whatever you need!!!

Jen - I'm still praying for your Dad! Please let us know how he's doing.

Night!!!

all ten of them and my toes too!!!:goodvibes

Cassidy feels the same way about the band's Austria trip....she is extremely excited to be going to Japan in a year and a half though.

Thanks, Theresa.

I'm heading to bed. I'll finish catching up tomorrow. Good night.

Oh, tell her Austria is AMAZING!!!! One of my favorite places, ever!!! She can take the Sound of Music tour! So wonderful! And the chocolate?!? To die for!!!!!

she had to choose....Austria for her or Disney World for all of us. She chose DW. :goodvibes For some reason the Austria trip didn't grab her the way Japan has:confused3 She is one of the lucky band kids....hardly ever are there 2 HUGE trips planned in the time period that they can go on both.

The Austria trip was planned down to the nano second....The Japan trip is going to have more options because it is just the marching band not the whole Music & Theater Depts.

Welcome home Tammi!

Elizabeth (or anyone else :) ), did you watch Samantha Who again this week? It's really a funny show!

Kevin designed our Halloween card tonight. The picture of the four of us on the "bus" is another one of his Photoshop masterpieces. It's a compilation of three pictures: Alyssa and me, Matthew, and Kevin. :rotfl:

Goodnight DDA!

Kevin-

I think it may be time to step away from the PhotoShop:lmao:

That is really cool!!!

I wish I could do more, but I will definitely be sending prayers and Pixie Dust your way. :grouphug:

Denise, you must be so frustrated. We are all hoping that Rees gets in to see the GI specialist soon. It really has been WAY too long. This kind of delay is inexcusable.

For those here for my car drama on Friday....My dear hubby signed an extended warranty without talking to me.....to the tune of $2111.....the man is a gigantic PITA sometimes. Since I have never seen the papers we are trying to get that removed....still not the $4000 but more than half.

Good luck!:wizard:

Elizabeth- You'll be happy to know that Lucy is loving Nightmare before Christmas. We are watching it and she is sitting here laughing and talking to the tv.

I KNEW I liked her!;)
I loved learning about Judaism from the rabbis at the preschool. Princess is Catholic, so no more family Shabbat for me these days. I miss that.

Well American Girl is about $500 richer right now. :faint: :sad2: Thank goodness it's not all my $$. But Santa is finished shopping for my niece, and I am a little closer to being finished with my ever growing holiday list. Emma's birthday present from Molly and Lucy is in there too!

YIKES! Princess is getting the baby doll for Christmas, but Momboss said it is only about $30. The BIG new store should be opening at our Galleria soon.

Karen, nice pictures.

Karen, what a cute little guy!:goodvibes

Wouldn't it be great to have a little jet like Mr Jetson? I could zip over to your place for cake & ice cream and put the jet in a briefcase so I wouldn't even have to park it.

Aren't you glad you're staying at different hotels?
:lmao:

I would love to live closer to you guys! But I don't own very many sweaters.;)
I do think separate hotels will be for the best.:rotfl: I love him, I really do, but he can be quite a diva.
I am sure your trip next month will be great, and Lizzy will have a terrific time!

What a great deal. I want to make Lizzy a book when we get home. I don't know if I can figure out another book to do before then and actually have the time to do it.

I'll have to look at that. I might need a book.

Wow! China sounds cool. I wouldn't want to go to the Olympics no matter where they were, but I would like to go to China. (Says the girl with no passport.)

Well, he had a good time, and we are still planning on going in December with the kids, but I'm sorry to say that I don't think he "get's it." :( Maybe when he is there with his daughter that will change. I don't know. :confused3

Hmm. That's not good. Maybe you're right about him being more into the experience when his DD is there!

Lindsay - THANK YOU for picking up the MNSSHP pins for DH! He will love it! I didn't choose a seat when I put the hold on the ticket, but now that I know I can't choose the same seat twice I won't choose one until I am ready to purchase! I looked at available seats but that was it. I figured I would book aisle and window for DS & myself and go back and buy the middle seat for DH IF he can go on the same flight with us. If he is coming on a different day I'll put DS directly beside me. Now, what day looks good for you to grab lunch or a drink or dinner or something?

Amy - I was mostly asleep when Samantha Who was on tonight. I have this bad habit of falling asleep on the couch.
Love the Halloween card!:thumbsup2

Anne Marie - I don't think I told you welcome home! I hope you had a good time!:)

Do we know anybody who lives in Maine? I got an e-mail that one of the girls I have known for years through volunteering is moving to Maine. She is moving up there with her boyfriend, so I really hope things work out for her. She's my age, but I think maybe she kind of rushed into this relationship. Anyway, she said to let her know if we are ever in Maine. Can't imagine that I would be, but you never know!:rotfl2:

No one stayed awake to try for the next milestone.
