Most electric garage door openers have a pull cord that will unhook the door from the opener allowing you to raise the door manually. If you did that and the door was still difficult to open it is probably either off track or one of the little wheels has frozen. Good luck with the repairman.

Yes, we did that, and it's still extremely difficult to get open. We've had our motor on the door go out before, and it was a breeze (relatively) to open/shut the door manually then. This is so NOT easy that I have no idea what could be wrong. Hopefully, the repair man can tell me, and it will be covered undder my home warranty (crossing fingers).

In case I don't make it back on before I leave on Monday...the LTT reservation is at 4 PM.

If I need to know anything after I leave...someone please call my cell.

FYI - I might be a teeny bit late to this reservation. My flight doesn't land until just after 2 p.m., and I'll need to go get checked in at Pop first before I head over to the MK. Save me a seat!

The only competition that is during the week is Regionals (at least the only one LHS competes in). It just so happens that there is one competition after regionals this year...that didn't happen last year Regionals was the last competition of the year except state.

Homecoming week is usually a bear for the marching band kids anyway.

Cassidy is struggling because once again she is not turning in work that she has done. Abi is struggling because she isn't doing so well on tests.

Both of them now. I'm so sorry. I hope that Abi can do better on the tests going forward. Rachel has been having a few test issues lately too, though not too bad. So she's done it and just not turning it in! Crazy girl. I hope that she gets her act turned around before Mom has to buckle down again.

So my daughter is pumped beyond belief .....the kids came in 3rd in regionals and scored 11 pts higher than Saturday and 4 pts higher than their best this year.


If the scores hold true from last year the kids get to miss the first round of finals We won't know until Friday when all of the regionals have been completed.

Well i am exhausted now! hahaha

I have good news (in addition to football ) When we were out tongiht, my brother told me he got my birthday present and had to tell me tonight but i wasnt allowed to freak out since we were at a bar/restaruant..so i said okay and he told me i have like 10th row seats to the Maroon 5 concert THIS SATURDAY!!! Now, thats alyssa's band--he got the tickets from the lead singer and i wanted to go SO bad!!! He didnt have extra tickets but now he has to work so hes giving them to me--HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Now, i have to find out if my mom or dad want to go, since they knew alyssa..and if not, i need to find someone..i cant believe he is letting me go!

I hope you enjoy the concert.

okay caught up.


Well they had to bring a machine to the hospital to adjust grandmas defilibrator yesterday.

Sometime yesterday I think after they adjusted the defilibrator it shocked her again.

They are talking about needing to do some procedure where they go thru the groin and do something to the top part of her heart. The NP said if they don't do this she could have a major stroke that would leave her incompaticated.

My grandma was not sure what the procedure was called so I need to try to get to work early and see if I can get the nurse to tell me the name of the procedure.

I hate to think about going, but the sooner I go the sooner I'll be home and the sooner our trip will be here I've managed the day with no ibruprophen so I guess that my back is improving. I have noticed that I keep having lightheaded spells today and I have to wonder if all the pain meds are messing with the new anxiety med. I've had lots of muscle pains lately too. My follow up appointment is on Thursday so I guess I'll get answers then. I should probably write down all these little things as I'm sure to forget when I'm sitting there with the doctor.

Sounds like an angioplasty, when they insert a balloon up through the femoral artery, to remove a blockage. My dad has been through a few of these procedures. and for a smooth procedure.
