That's not good.:guilty:
They had a dance at DS's school but he refused to go. I don't know if any of his friends went or not.:confused3 I just don't think he "gets" the whole middle school thing.:rotfl:

This is "spirit week" or something like that. Yesteray was crazy hats, but he either forgot or didn't think he wanted to do it. He ended up wearing one of those stretcy bookcovers on his head. Today was crazy neckties - he wore a strand of paperclips. Tomorrow is crazy socks, and Friday is spirit jerseys. He doesn't have any crazy socks - all of his socks are white. I bought him a Dallas Stars hockey jersey today so at least he has that. I know the other kids must think he is a complete spaz, but he doesn't like to do things like the other kids.

Shelton is having Kick Drugs out of School Week. They could wear a sports team shirt on Monday, crazy sock day on Tuesday, regular tennis shoes (instead of uniform shoes) on Wednesday, Thursday is hat day and Friday is red shirt, red socks, red bracelet day.

BTW -- my Stars Jersey is Mike Modano....

I like the paperclip idea! Andrew has too many sensory issues to do something like that....

I really like this movie & it is Garrett's favorite. He is a die hard JS fan!

I have to admit, I've never seen the movie either...:rolleyes1

Thanks for all the compliments on the girls pictures that I posted :goodvibes

Jennifer- :wizard: that Virginia's levels start lowering. and that you both settle into a feeding routine.

Jennifer- Still thinking "sticky", thanks Elizabeth, thoughts for you and Kyle.

Denise- More :wizard: and 's for the Figs.

Chanon- :wizard: for your family and all that are affected by the wildfires.

Janet- Hope Garrett feels better soon.

Marci- How is Andrew feeling?

Theresa- I have no suggestions for colleges. My girls are going where it's free, U of MD-College Park.

Tom- :cool1: on your auctions! I so wish I could afford you, your talent is amazing!

Elizabeth- I had no idea that Dallas was getting an American Girl store. I sure hope that we can make it work out to visit.

I know I've read more but my brain has reached it's maximum retention level for the day.'s and :wizard: to those I missed.

He is better. Thanks for asking!

Email update from Denise, 7:30 p.m.

Rees just got back from the Endoscopy and biopsies at 7pm. He did so well! The GI doctors came by to talk. They took 6 biopsies of his esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and jejunum. His lower esophagus and stomach were fairly inflamed and indicated chronic gastritis. The bowel was dilated and had thickened walls. They tested specifically for lactose intolerance and h-pylori. They suspect that he has something causing malabsorption and a possible partial blockage where the bowel is distended. They are keeping him until Friday or later and having the surgeon look at the results too. If it is a partial blockage, he will need surgery. The biopsy results probably won't be back until Friday.

Thanks for the prayers. It was another long day for Rees as he didn't get to eat from 10pm yesterday until 7:30pm tonight. He is so brave and such a trooper!. John's parents came over to help. I will send out another update when we hear something.

More prayers for Rees and the family!

Janet, sorry that Garrett is still not feeling well.

I'm sorry he's not any better. Maybe he'll be feeling a lot better by morning. PD that he is so he can go to the dance!

I realized tonight that I'm becoming addicted to my DVR... since I'm staying in Ft. Worth I don't have it, and I'm having to watch "real time" with commercials, instead of working, then fast forwarding through the shows. I wonder if hotels will get DVRs...

I might once Virginia is not jaundiced any more. but it will be no were as neat as yours, Tom's or Beth's. I am just not that savvy on the computer.

Well don't you know, Virginia is your Halloween hunkin.

I just miss seeing Olivia's smiling face!

:rolleyes1

well raspberries to you!!!:lmao:

:rotfl2:

Robyn - love the picture in your sig.

Thanks :goodvibes

I got Alyssa princess boots at Toys R Us several years ago. Don't know if they still carry them though.

I think we got Emma's at Kmart a few years back. They were huge when we bought them (it was in the middle of a snow storm and all we could find) and now they are too small :headache: Hopefully Mo or Lucy can wear them.

Elizabeth, I do want to see The Barber of Seville. But probably because Johnny is the lead.

I didn't see any last time I was their. I will have to look next time I go. If someone is at a toys r us or Disney store and sees that they have their Christmas stuff out let me know.

Yes and right now the Rockies are trailing 4 to 1 in the bottom of the 3rd. :sad2:

 Sorry Theresa! Gotta go with the Sox!

I think I would die without ours! I keep telling myself that by DVR'ing everything I actually spend less time watching tv but I really don't think that's true. I just DVR more stuff

Jeff is off this week and I am hoping to get him to finish his honey do list that he did not get done before Virginia came. Unfortunately I don't think I will get my carpets cleaned. As the girls and I can't go over to my moms while the carpet dries as my dad had not been feeling well, before Virginia came. My dad does not like drs. he felt so bad that on tues he went to the dr. The dr told him he was one step away from having Pneumonia so he got a shot of antibiotics and then was given some pills to take as well.

Hey guys--question for you--well a favor to ask

My school is doing a program to "send smiles around the world"--basically, we are trying to get as many postcards as we can from around the world--Would anyone be willing to send a postcard? You could send them to my house and i can b riing them into work, sinice most of you have the address. you could address it to "The Goddard School" in care of me, at my address

In the postcard, can you just mentino where you are from, if theres any interesting facts from your area or anything like that?

thanks so much if you can do this..

Elizabeth,

I called for the Beach Club & was told I could get 30% off the BC standard room but the 40% was only on deluxe villas. I spoke to several CM's & on hold for 30 minutes & thats what they all came back with. So according to what i was told no 40% on regular deluxe. I guess I shouldn't complain as 30% isn't too shabby.

Hope your dad feels better soon! Good luck on getting that list completed. Eric still has his and it's nowhere near being done. He did tell me that he plans to have it done by Thanksgiving. Lucy's christening is that Sunday so everyone will be here after for brunch. I don't think I'll hold my breath.

I'll get one in the mail over the weekend!

Since I am still trying to catch up on my sleep I best get myself to bed. Good night ladies. Sweet dreams!

well one of the things on his list was come nov 1st to get my christmas stuff out of the attic. I was hoping Virginia would wait till Nov to come. I was going to put my tree up Nov. 1st.

He needs to go up in the attic and find the bin that has my jeans in it from last year. As the maternity jeans I had bought are way to big on me. So that is one of the things he is doing tomorrow. The other things are helping me get the house cleaned.
