Hey Steffy,
Think we could do the one in York for lunch next week? :lmao: :lmao:

It would only take us about 40 minutes to get there! :lmao:

Where do you to live?

Too funny I was just posting how I wasn't buying any until I can find the Nile or Athens to try on. I went to Dick's today and they only have the Beach and Aspen.

Becky
I hate to buy without actually trying on to, but I just don't have the time to drive aroudn northern VA in our traffic trying to find the Niles. I'm hoping I can wing it!

Holy Cow, Woman! Do you ever rest?!? Your house is going to be so gorgeous by the time you are done! How does your son like his new room?

Not much!!
OK, I'm on a mission.
I need to get this house in shape to sell.
As my new life in some what on hold till then.

Yes, Ramiro loves his new room.
I saved plenty of paint.
The Poly theme ties right in with his love of Stitch.
I'm looking for a Stitch in a Hawaiian shirt & a lae.
I'm going to put it on his bed to surprise him.
When WE get OUR new place.

Is this going to turn into a posting party to hit 12,000 tonight??

What a great way to transition into a new life! You have such a good attitude about everything, Jo! I really admire you.

Brendita didn't.
Jo. does.
That's why I wanted to change my screen name.

I will never understand why it took me so long to get it together & D him?
I smile & laugh all the time now.
Before I was always in a mood.

I'm unwinding. We spent the day together as a family (which I usually love), but unfortunately, we had to drive in DH's work car, which smushes the kids in the back seat. He was on call, so he had to have all his gear with him. It was a bit much for 4 kids all day in the back seat. So, I'm unwinding. Nothing like a bit of DIS to unwind from a day of "He's touching me." "She's looking at me." "I'm too cold." "I'm too hot." Can we say, Calgon, take me away!

I'm considering just ordering them and hoping they fit as well, because I really don't know where to look for them. According to their website there are only 10 places within 25 miles of where I live. Most of them are bookstores or something along that line. I doubt they will have much selection even if I do go looking.

Okay Ladies -

I just ordered a pair of sage Nile crocs size 8 for $17.10!!!! :Pinkbounc

I found them at REI.com - they are 19.99 - but right now they have 20% off one regular priced item - and if you pick it up in their store - the shipping is FREE!!! Otherwise - you can have it shipped to you for $5.99 - still bringing the total to only $23

I don't have an REI near me but right now my mom happens to be visiting my sister in Denver and is going to pick them up for me and bring them back!!

I wasn't sure I wanted to try them at $30 - but for $17 - I am so excited!!!!!!

In relation to where the Chick-fil-a is from my house it is about a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic. I live outside of Columbia, Pa and the chick-fil-a is across the susquehana river in York but natch it is all the way on the other side of town. Steffy and I work in lancaster and with getting on Route 30 it could be a long drive :confused3

We will just have to meet there on the weekend. :teeth: :teeth:

That's funny. I went to Dicks and did the same thing, except they didn't have any Niles. Only the beach and the aspens. What size of shoe do you normally wear? I'm trying to go by everyone elses foot sizes.
I normally wear an 8 - so I guess they were about true to size for me

I went upstairs to check on my kids and Julia was sound asleep - Nick look horrible to me - I leaned down to kiss him and he was holding his forehead and said mommy - me hot

he was right - he has a fever - then he said my eyes hurt - my head hurts and is holding his forehead right over his eye - which means he has a sinus headache -

I feel so bad for him - he is laying here next to me watching Toy Story 2 - every once in a while he says "head hurts" or "eye hurts"

Poor little thing - and he spit out the medicine

Living & Dining Room.
Paint all wall ceiling.
Clean & paint fireplace, screen, tools.
New blinds.

Kitchen.
Paint the front of stove & dishwasher.
Caulk.

I'm working with XDH this weekend.
I hate it.
I'm up & going.
He needs coffee, tv time to wake up.

He was to get the paint.
Has he done it.
H*** no.

Knowing him he will run around all day, get nothing done.
Than we will have to do everything Sunday.

I need some rest sometime. :furious:
I had to take this Monday off, I was so exhausted. :furious:

You make me tired just reading all you have to do
Dh just wants me to pick colors to get the painters to use and that has taken me months to decide and still not done!!!

That is really cool

OH and DH isn't much better - today he bent down to pick something up off the floor at the EXACT moment Julia opened a drawer in our kitchen -

he has three big gashes on his nose and has had an internal nose bleed and headache all night long

My boys are a mess but so cute -

Buzz just tried to escape Al's toy Barn and ran into the door as it closed and fell to the floor - in unison the two of them say "OOHHHH" it was so adorable!!!

Kate -- beautiful new designs. I hope Nick feels better soon! Have you tried the flavors you can add at the pharmacy to the medicine? Some people say they have had success with them, some say it didn't help at all. Luckily, I never had that problem with my boys, but if I had, it would be worth a try to flavor it.
