Thanks for the responses so far to my post asking for email addresses for Kathrin. I forgot to tell you that this is a MAJOR sports-oriented business and the contract to do this campaign is quite a coup. Although she is not directly involved in an ad agency anymore, there are a few on her team who do work for agencies whose work you would know (think geckos and brown delivery trucks).

If her team wins I will certainly tell you all and you can be on the lookout for future advertising from said corporation. And, again.. thanks!

Looks like another beautiful day out there, but they are still calling for rain. Maybe there will be enough sunshine for coffee on the patio before the rainclouds come. I was delighted to see they held off last night so Nicholas could SINGLE-HANDEDLY win that soccer game!

Good morning DDA!

I fell out early last night, this has been a tiring week. After today I have the next 3 days off from work It is another rainy day here, but looks like the weekend will be nice. I sure hope so, both the boys have their 1st baseball games Saturday.

I need to call the dentist this morning, poor Gary has a swollen face. When I 1st met him he had the the most beautiful teeth & unfortunatley over the years they have started going bad. He really needs to have them all pulled, but our dental insurance will not cover dentures till Dec. of this year. By that time, he won't have many left! I sure hope they can get him in today, I hate to see him in pain.

OMG I know how you feel.
We had a small ranch in Texas.
They assested our property having 2 houses on it.
The dummies thought the barn was a house.
I told them when the bull, chickens, rabbits, ect started paying rent.
I would gladly pay the taxes they wanted.
They cut our taxes in 1/2 after we submitted photos.
Had to prove it was a barn not a house.
This took about 3 months & I was pregant with Ramiro at the time.
So I totally feel for you.

I am asking a favor from you all for dd Kathrin. She is taking a graduate IMI class and their final project is for a major corporation. Whichever team presents the "best" marketing strategy will be selected to have their plan as the new advertising campaign for said client.

Her team is going to be deploying a survey this week to friends and family to get as much information for the “client” as possible. It will only be about 20 questions long and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete. Age and gender are irrelevant, but they are trying to focus on people who’ve participated in corporate events in the past, so she would prefer people who are or were recently employed.

In addition, they are trying to focus on eight main test markets, so any people in and around these areas would be especially helpful: Phoenix, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, Washington D.C., Orlando, Dallas, Los Angeles and Long Island.

If you are interested in participating, please PM me with your email address that I can share with her. It will not be used for anything more than to send this survey as far as I know.

If the basement was finished at a later date, the owner would have had to have gotten a permit from the county in order to finish it. That's how they know. Or else if it was finished when the house was built, it would have been on the original plans. I know, it's frustrating.

Well, Bob came over tonight, to see Nicholas' game and to visit. He is leaving tomorrow to go visit his family in WV, and then I leave on Saturday. He gave Alyssa a gift card for Toys R Us for her bday. She was thrilled!

Now I need to get to bed. Tomorrow is my last day of work. I have no idea how I'm going to concentrate!

From what the guy told us yesterday, a finished basement adds about $20K in value, so it still doesn't account for the extra $60K. And how our neighbor's house that is attached to ours isn't considered waterview but ours is. Frustrating!!

How nice of Bob to think of Alyssa! You'll get through work today!

Poor Gary! Bob had something similar happen to him a few years ago and he ended up having to have all his teeth surgically removed and dentures made. I hope Gary can last until December. Good luck getting him into the dentist today.
