So does anyone have any special plans for this Easter weekend?
Ramiro has out-grown the Easter bunny.
Thinking maybe wrap up the yard work early Saturday.
Saturday evening doing the Campfire movie @ F.W.
Going with my Coworker Sara & her family.
Make some pocorn @ home.
Take hotdogs, marshmallows, jug of tea.
Just enjoy friends & a movie.

It's looking like a busy and cold weekend around here. Kristi and I are taking the kids to see Meet the Robinsons this morning. After that, Erin and Brendan are coming over so that we can all decorate Easter eggs together. (I'm beginning to wonder if the 3 dozen eggs I bought will be enough.) Tonight Brendan is going to freeze while participating in the Living Crosses in the field behind my parent's church.

Tomorrow morning Rachel volunteered to help hide Easter eggs at church so I've got to have her there by 8am. Then, we're taking all of the little ones TO the egg hunt at 10am. Sunday will be Easter Bunny stuff, breakfast casserole and then church followed by a ham dinner with everyone here.

Chris' plans for the weekend = RUNNING. He is running the St. Louis marathon next weekend and trying to finish up his training so that he'll be ready.

My Uncle Jim (Aunt Stell's husband) died during the night. They found out on Tuesday or Wednesday that he had taken a turn for the worse. Instead of being in a nursing home getting physical therapy to prepare him for going home, they told them that he was in the final stages before death. Uncle Jim told them he was prepared to move on. He has been in ill health for many years now.

Please say a prayer for my Aunt Stell, cousins Debbie & Suzy and their families.

I am so sorry, Vicki.   I am glad that he was at peace with thing in the end, but you all will be in our prayers. I hope that Aunt Stell is feeling okay.

Glynis, Tia, Elin, and anyone else with DL trips coming up...

I just read in my monthly DVC e-mail that the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is officially slated to open on June 11.

I have no idea if this is old news or not, but wanted to put it out there in case you hadn't heard it.

I saw that recently too. I am SOOOO hoping for a soft opening since we'll be there almost a whole month before. Fingers crossed!!

Okay proud mom moment here (not how I got it since I kind of snuck it:cutie: ):

Very cool, Theresa!!! She definitely has a good head on her shoulders. Even more impressive from a freshman, I think.

I put in my first few graphics here today!! Nowhere as good as the sasoned pros just a amateur attempt!! Anyways I am Mitushi SAHM with my DS4 married 7 yrs. I seem to spend all my free time [an di have a lot of it nowdays] on DIS. Came here for the first time yesterday!!!

 Mitushi and Aunt Susu! I am Tia, SAHM to 4yo Terra and married to Phil for almost 5yrs. Our next WDW trip is unknown at this time (note my crazy 1500 day ticketer :rolleyes1 ), but we will get to hit DL for a day next month so that will help tie me over. I hope you'll hang around with us more often!!

Hi everyone! I've had a really crappy day, between PMSing and going through all this property settlement stuff with xh2b. It has really been on my mind a lot and now am starting to worry about being able to afford to stay in this house. Anyway, that's not the point of this post. So I had talked to Bob a few times throughout the day and he knew about what my day was like. At 7PM I got a phone call from him, after I had gotten home from work and found out that my dog had tipped over the trash can and shredded every bit of trash all over my kitchen floor, which needed to be mopped before I could make dinner. So while talking to him I started venting about that. His reply was "it sounds like you need a hug." Of course my response was yes I do. The next thing I know, my doorbell rings and he says to me "if you answer your door you can have one." I know it sounds sappy now but you have know idea what a pick-me-up that was. :cloud9: :cloud9:

How sweet!! :cloud9: :goodvibes :cloud9: :goodvibes I am sorry about your crappy day though. I hope the weekend away helps!

i ran into an old classmate from high school tonight--one of the first thing she asked me is who i was dating..When i told her i wasnt seeing anyone right now-she looked at me like i was crazy and said well i guess you never will--you have to have a boyfriend when you get out of college if you want to get married..i

i just looked at her like she was crazy--STRANGE conversation!

WHAT THE....?!?!?!?! Is she insane? I am so glad that you know better. I hope that she doesn't pull the same comment on someone who would take it more seriously.

P3 is over for now! Off to do some DL planning.

Those of you who go there fairly regularly... do you always stay onsite or do you stay at one of the Good Neighbor hotels nearby?

The couple of times we had family in or have visited since and needed a hotel, we say nearby. The onsite places are just too high for our budget and there are SO many good places near by. There are probably 30 hotels that you could walk to the park from with no problem. I have heard a lot of good things about the Candy Cane Inn (and they have a free shuttle I think, though you could easily walk). Family stayed at the Alamo several times and it was very reasonably priced (about $50/night). Mousesavers.com has several reviews of area hotels as well as a few deals, I think.

Well, not exactly just for that. He brought the new globe for my ceiling fan that he picked up for me at Lowes (Nicholas cracked the other one, don't ask how  ). So he put that on for me. Maybe that was just his excuse. ;)

Don't ask cause you don't know or because it's too crazy? I busted one of Mom's one time twirling a dance bar toy of Kristi's in the living room. Thought we were going to have a big problem then as there are 4 little glass shades and we didn't know if we could find just the one. Amazingly enough, I discovered that the lamp in my bedroom that had come from my grandma's had the exact same shade. Saved me from being in costly trouble.

Good morning, DDA!!! I hope someone out there is having some nice springy weather for this Easter weekend cause it sure isn't us! Low of 22 tonight and a high of 41 on Easter so it's not looking good. (Though definitely better than the snow some of you are getting.)

Our family had the sweetest, but sad, thing happen this week. A good friend of my mom's had a younger brother that died this week. He was 25 and just messing around with some friends in the driveway. At some point he fell and hit is head hard on the driveway. Apparently that caused him to vomit and he asperated on it and died. Very sad for the family. The sweet part for us though came when my mom's friend called to talk to her as the brother was an organ donor. Cheri wanted to do what she could to get his liver donated to Brendan if she could. In the end, we told her it was best to just let it go to someone else more immediately in need as Brendan isn't even on the list yet and there are people who need it more right now. Brendan will probably be put on the list in the next year, but they haven't started the process yet. It was just so touching for us all that she was thinking of him in a time of such personal greif. The visitation is today with the funeral on Sunday if you could keep this wonderful family in your prayers.

So ends my P3 I guess. I'm sure there is something that I need to do around here though I am enjoying the peace of being the only one awake right now. A cup of coffee and the DIS is such a nice way to start the day.

I will end with some possible good news though...My BIL Chris has an interview next week! The district manager from Jiffy Lube saw Chris resume on Monster.com and called him yesterday. They want to interview him on Tuesday for a position of general manager for one of their locations. I am so happy that he has an interview at least as I know that he was starting to get down on himself since he'd had no luck so far.

 for spring break Jen.

Your friend thinks you need a boyfriend in college??:confused3

Apparently were all "supposed" to get engaged after graduation..
with all that went on with student teaching, i was glad i didnt have a steady boyfriend! but now that its almost over.... hahah

Wow Theresa you should be proud!

Okay proud mom moment here (not how I got it since I kind of snuck it:cutie: ):

While I like the Bio.....I am proudest of the topic and her explanation...what a great teenager I have!!:goodvibes

Hello! Yay a trip to Disney :yay: I am sure others have responded, but if you let us know what you are looking for we can get you headed in the right direction :thumbsup2

I have been researching WDW for our up coming trip in June. I came across this forum by accident and have been reading all kinds of stuff. Can someone please tell me how all this works? Can you tell I am computer illiterate?

Oh Tammi this gave me chills, how sweet! I think Bob is a keeper :goodvibes

Hope today goes better for you :wizard:
