Tia - So sad for the family who lost their son!:guilty: It was very generous of them to think of you all!

Terry - I hope you feel better soon! Can't wait to see the new glasses!:)

I am also a teacher! But I am a piano, composition and voice teacher in a private music school. My name is Elin and I have been married to Bob for almost 34 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters aged 28 and 20.

I bet you are so excited to be going to WDW! Time passes so slowly when you are waiting for a trip to the Mouse, doesn't it?
Yes time has been going slow. I teach Kindergarten in Georgia and luckily my students accept my excitement. My colleagues however are over it so I keep quiet now until I get home. How exactly do I reply to the various messages. I think I have figured it out but would still welcome some advice. I was up until 2a.m last night AND the night before reading all this.

If you want to reply to more than one post at a time, as you are reading, click the thing in the bottom right corner of the post--i think it has a + sign on it...then just keep hitting that for all the ones you want to reply to and then hit quote--i think that is correct at least!

At the bottom of the posts you will see the box that says "quote", which will quote just that message. Beside it is the box for "multi-quote". You may click multi-quote for as many messages as you want, then when you are ready to reply to all of them you click "post reply". It will combine them into one big reply for you.:)

None of us EVER get tired of talking Disney, so please feel free to talk about your plans, ask for advice, etc.:)

Well, I haven't packed yet, but I'm going to be bringing all sweaters. So much for wearing something Eastery. I think the high today and tomorrow is 32. Yuck!

That's what our weather is supposed to be here if you add rain!! But Easter is supposed to be a seasonal sunny and 54.....YEAH!!

Have a great time with your parents.

Hi everyone! I've had a really crappy day, between PMSing and going through all this property settlement stuff with xh2b. It has really been on my mind a lot and now am starting to worry about being able to afford to stay in this house. Anyway, that's not the point of this post. So I had talked to Bob a few times throughout the day and he knew about what my day was like. At 7PM I got a phone call from him, after I had gotten home from work and found out that my dog had tipped over the trash can and shredded every bit of trash all over my kitchen floor, which needed to be mopped before I could make dinner. So while talking to him I started venting about that. His reply was "it sounds like you need a hug." Of course my response was yes I do. The next thing I know, my doorbell rings and he says to me "if you answer your door you can have one." I know it sounds sappy now but you have know idea what a pick-me-up that was. :cloud9: :cloud9:

I actually teared up reading that  I think he's a keeper.

P3 is over for now! Off to do some DL planning.

Those of you who go there fairly regularly... do you always stay onsite or do you stay at one of the Good Neighbor hotels nearby?

Never been to DL, but we are planning a few nights off site at WDW this trip. It's a Magical trip no matter where you stay.

Glynis, Tia, Elin, and anyone else with DL trips coming up...

I just read in my monthly DVC e-mail that the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is officially slated to open on June 11.

I have no idea if this is old news or not, but wanted to put it out there in case you hadn't heard it.

What a lovely Birthday present, too bad I won't be in California to enjoy it.:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Don't ask cause you don't know or because it's too crazy? I busted one of Mom's one time twirling a dance bar toy of Kristi's in the living room. Thought we were going to have a big problem then as there are 4 little glass shades and we didn't know if we could find just the one. Amazingly enough, I discovered that the lamp in my bedroom that had come from my grandma's had the exact same shade. Saved me from being in costly trouble.

When I was in college, I was in the living area of my apartment, I heard a loud crack in my bedroom. I went inside to find the globe to my ceiling fan lying on the floor in pieces. No one was in the room, apparently it exploded from getting to hot or something :confused3 :confused3 although it had the proper light bulb in it.

It's been a strange day here. Colby is home alone with me so he is extra cuddly and needy which doesn't facilitate getting anything done. Dad dropped in to have me type up an invoice for him. I got a call that a co worker is sick so I will be waitressing tonight :cool1: More Mickey Money. Isn't is sad that I get excited to be called into work :rotfl2: It is definitely not the job, but the thought of extra money that motivates me. Now I need to get some laundry and housework done before nap time. Have a great day.

Ugh. This is going to be a L O N G day.:headache:

DH and DS have a very hard time getting along sometimes. DH overwhelms DS with instructions. Comb your hair with water! Get your shoes! Brush your teeth! Now, now, now! DS can't function like that, so he gets very snarly and disrespectful. Then DH starts to act like a 3 year old, yells at DS, says really mean things, and I have to intervene. Now the 2 of them have gone off to the baseball game. The group they are going with wants to meet at 10:30 and leave for the game. The stupid game doesn't start until after 1 PM! DS is going to be bored out of his skull before the game even starts! And DH will get mad at him.:sad2:

There is another boy DS's age going to the game, so he will have someone to play with. HOPEFULLY that will help.

I am supposed to meet them after the game, but I have no idea what time that will be. I guess I better go do the things I need to do before it gets any later. Chat with you all later!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Tammi have a safe trip & enjoy your time at your parents

Chat with you all tonight

So I've never been more relieved to hear...you need to move out ....in my life. I totally agree!!

The part that turned my stomach was the hatred that was in Grandma's eyes when she looked at Abi this morning....pure venom.

So I am spending a good portion of tomorrow setting up appointments to see apts. Saturday...hopefully we will be able to move before the end of the month!!

Theresa so sorry it has gotten that bad.:wizard:  good luck woth the apartment search.

We lived in Athens for a while, and loved Georgia!

If you wish to reply to only one person you hit the QUOTE button on the bottom right hand corner of the posting window (just like you did to quote me!). If you want to quote more than one person, you hit the "+ button that is beside the "QUOTE" and it will turn orange, I believe. Continue clicking that button on each post you wish to quote and when you finally get to the last one you want to quote, then click on the "QUOTE" button also. It will include all the posts you indicated you wanted to use when the "Reply to Thread" window comes up.

Hope that helps!!

I just did a bunch of number crunching. I think I need to save $100 a week between now and our trip to have it completely paid for before we leave. I think that is a realistic goal. It will be great knowing that we will come home with no looming bills. :cool1: The largest expense is for the 5 premium annual passes, the good news is we won't have that expense for our 2008 trip. We also won't have airfare costs or rental car costs in 2008. Most of our meals can be preplanned and prepacked in the camper. I bet our 2008 trip will be about 1/4 of the cost of our 2007 trip. I'm having a happy day :thumbsup2 I think one extra night a week at the restaurant will be enough to pull this off. If I get 2 extra nights it is all the better.

No time to post replies to everyone. Thanks, :wizard: and :grouphug: to you all!

I need to load up the van and go get Nicholas. I'll probably check in again sometime tonight.

To whomever asked, I think it was Tia, yes we had school today. It was supposed to be a teacher workday, but we needed to make up a snow day so we didn't have to add on to the end of the year. But we are out all next week for spring break.

Bye!!!

So does anyone have any special plans for this Easter weekend?
Ramiro has out-grown the Easter bunny.
Thinking maybe wrap up the yard work early Saturday.
Saturday evening doing the Campfire movie @ F.W.
Going with my Coworker Sara & her family.
Make some pocorn @ home.
Take hotdogs, marshmallows, jug of tea.
Just enjoy friends & a movie.

sounds fun Jo
