Hi everyone! I've had a really crappy day,
So while talking to him I started venting about that. His reply was "it sounds like you need a hug." Of course my response was yes I do. The next thing I know, my doorbell rings and he says to me "if you answer your door you can have one." I know it sounds sappy now but you have no idea what a pick-me-up that was. :cloud9: :cloud9:

Tammi that is so awsome.

He is definately a keeper :goodvibes :grouphug:

No. I'm off until Tuesday and the kids and I are leaving tomorrow to go to my parents' house in PA.

Tammi-

I am sorry you had a cruddy day but what a wonderful man you found.

i ran into an old classmate from high school tonight--one of the first thing she asked me is who i was dating..When i told her i wasnt seeing anyone right now-she looked at me like i was crazy and said well i guess you never will--you have to have a boyfriend when you get out of college if you want to get married..i

i just looked at her like she was crazy--STRANGE conversation!

 You are right that is a strange conversation.

Goodnight ladies. I'll pop in before I hit the road tomorrow. Sleep tight everyone!

It was so nice to come on at my regular time and there were so many of you on. :woohoo:

But I am tuckered!!

Good night, Sleep tight!!

My Uncle Jim (Aunt Stell's husband) died during the night. They found out on Tuesday or Wednesday that he had taken a turn for the worse. Instead of being in a nursing home getting physical therapy to prepare him for going home, they told them that he was in the final stages before death. Uncle Jim told them he was prepared to move on. He has been in ill health for many years now.

Please say a prayer for my Aunt Stell, cousins Debbie & Suzy and their families.

I am so sorry to hear this, Vicki. :grouphug:

Glynis, Tia, Elin, and anyone else with DL trips coming up...

I just read in my monthly DVC e-mail that the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is officially slated to open on June 11.

I have no idea if this is old news or not, but wanted to put it out there in case you hadn't heard it.

Thanks for the "date" update, Lindsay! I knew it was supposed to open this summer and was hoping it would be before we go.

Okay proud mom moment here (not how I got it since I kind of snuck it:cutie: ):

I found this....it's for her language arts class for social commentary:

Author Bio:

Cassidy Heppner. I am a freshman at Littleton High School. I am probably the biggest band geek you’ll find. I play flute, piano, and alto sax. I also act and sing, and should probably give myself some more ‘me’ time. I lived in Billings, Montana until I was nine. I then moved here to Littleton, Colorado. My favorite place to be is anywhere my friends or family is. I’m going to Walt Disney World for the first time ever this July. I am so excited! The first ride I would like to go on is Pirates of the Caribbean, which is my favorite movie. I have a little sister, who I love so much. I’m going to work with infants when I get out of college.

Research Topic:

I decided to research the topic of ‘the cost of love’. In other words, what girls and boys think they have to do to get the opposite sex to like them. I chose this topic because I see so many of my friends becoming totally different people for a guy. My belief about the topic is that if the guy doesn’t like you for the true you, he is not worth it. The media is putting so many bad images of love out in the open. Many teens believe love is sex, perfect, but love is just love. You shouldn’t have sex just because you’re dating, and you’re truly in ‘love’. Honestly, in high school, it’s always love. Hope You Enjoy My Project!

While I like the Bio.....I am proudest of the topic and her explanation...what a great teenager I have!!:goodvibes

What a special couple of daughters you and Jim have raised, Theresa. You have every right to be proud! :goodvibes

I have been researching WDW for our up coming trip in June. I came across this forum by accident and have been reading all kinds of stuff. Can someone please tell me how all this works? Can you tell I am computer illiterate?

This thread is our living room where we all hang out and chat with good friends (or maybe I should say family) who all love Disney and support each other.

What a perfect description of who we are, Vicki! :goodvibes So, welcome to our home, AuntSuSu.

Me too!! I am on Spring Break and was suppose to be catching up on some work but I have done nothing but read these boards. I have a trip to WDW in June. I have not been there in nearly twenty years I think I am more excited than my children. I teach school and cannot wait until school is out now.

I am also a teacher! But I am a piano, composition and voice teacher in a private music school. My name is Elin and I have been married to Bob for almost 34 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters aged 28 and 20.

I bet you are so excited to be going to WDW! Time passes so slowly when you are waiting for a trip to the Mouse, doesn't it?

Hi everyone! I've had a really crappy day, between PMSing and going through all this property settlement stuff with xh2b. It has really been on my mind a lot and now am starting to worry about being able to afford to stay in this house. Anyway, that's not the point of this post. So I had talked to Bob a few times throughout the day and he knew about what my day was like. At 7PM I got a phone call from him, after I had gotten home from work and found out that my dog had tipped over the trash can and shredded every bit of trash all over my kitchen floor, which needed to be mopped before I could make dinner. So while talking to him I started venting about that. His reply was "it sounds like you need a hug." Of course my response was yes I do. The next thing I know, my doorbell rings and he says to me "if you answer your door you can have one." I know it sounds sappy now but you have know idea what a pick-me-up that was. :cloud9: :cloud9:

Alright... this guy is a keeper! :goodvibes He drove all the way in from King George to give you a hug??? I want to meet him very soon, please.

ETA: I did NOT read Terry's post to you about Bob being a keeper before I wrote that. I guess it is my turn to use the brain this morning!)

Good morning, DDA!

Let's hope those eggs being colored in the next couple of days don't freeze when the Easter Bunny hides them! ;)

I hope you have a great trip home to visit your parents, Tammi and Nicholas and Alyssa.

I don't get a Spring Break. But a lot of my students are traveling so my classes will be smaller and a number of my private students won't be here either. Should be a fairly quiet week!

P3 is over for now! Off to do some DL planning.

Those of you who go there fairly regularly... do you always stay onsite or do you stay at one of the Good Neighbor hotels nearby?
