My poor friend (going to Disney with me) is so annoyed with her SIL. The SIL just found out last Thursday that her young daughters (7 & 9) have dress group photos for dance the morning we are are going to WDW. She's been with the dance studio for something like 20 years (the oldest DD is 22) and has NEVER missed a group photo. The photo shoot is at 10:00 am and she figures they'll be done at 11:00. Its about an 1 1/2 ride to the airport without traffic. The traffic shouldn't be bad on a Sunday but you really just never know what could happen. My friend is freaking out. She says they are on their own she will NOT wait for them. We figure if we go to the airport together we could each take a checked bag for them and then they'd only need to get through security. Not a great way to start a vacation with my friend & SIL annoyed with each other. If SIL makes the flight she'll be gloating "I told you we could do it" and if she doesn't my friend will be so mad.My friend & I are going and are going to have a great time no matter when SIL and girls show up. Our flight is the last direct flight out so if they miss it they won't arrive at MCO til about 11pm. We'll be at the park having a great time.
I've been working on creating T-shirt designs to coordinate with the swim trunks that I purchased for our trip. The boys prefer swim trunks over shorts as they can get wet whenever without being uncomfortable. So I scanned in a flower pattern off a suit and then added a bit of magic. Let's see how perceptive you all are.

Ok, Beth. I'll be on the lookout for him. Thanks!Tammi, Brooksie went out in yesterday's mail. I had planned to take him to the post office Saturday, but Matthew's NYSSMA (they play an instrument or sing in front of a judge for a score) took longer than I thought. The PO was closed by the time I got there. I think that Brooksie should make it before you leave, but it might be close!

Good morning, friends!!![]()
Nothing exciting going on today. It is supposed to rain.I guess Brother and I will go to the liberry and run some other errands. He keeps asking me for a Wiggles "journal". Sister has a Barbie journal that came with a DVD, so that might be what sparked it. Anyway, he asks me for a Wiggles journal EVERY day and I have no clue what to offer him! If I could find some Wiggles stickers I could stick them on a notebook and tell him it's a journal, but I haven't seen any Wiggles stickers. Hmm. Anybody have any ideas?

What a terrific idea, Deb! Does each boy get his own character?
Thank you!BEAUTIFUL!!! Looks like they had a great time!
Wow, I hope they make the flight. At least you are not left waiting for them or anything...My poor friend (going to Disney with me) is so annoyed with her SIL. Thanks!!!What a beautiful family you have.
Continued good luck with the job situation!Well, my evening hasn't been too great. Momboss called this afternoon and she asked how my interview went. I told her it went well but I don't think the family is going to be able to meet my salary requirements. So she asked if they DO offe me what I want in salary when will I leave? I told her around June 1, and she wigged out! She said they are going to start looking for a replacement NOW, and if they find someone to start on June 1 then that's what they are going to do and if this family doesn't hire me I won't have a job!Nothing is going to happen for AT LEAST 6 weeks! And they can get a temp with only about 1 day's notice! Luckily my friend called and said she would be happy to take over my job whenever I am hired on with a new family. She is a SAHM (former nanny) who has been watching a little boy in her home. That little boy's mom announced today that she is quitting her job, so my friend is able to work whatever hours my bosses would need her, whether it is all day or just in the afternon after camp.
I have not heard a peep from the family I interviewed with, and I have to think that is bad.![]()
Wow!! They are awesome!!!! How clever!I've been working on creating T-shirt designs to coordinate with the swim trunks that I purchased for our trip. Good morning everyone! I hope this day finds you all well!
I just got off the phone with my dad. It was great to talk to him He's just as Disney Obsessed as I am. I think we're the only 2 in the family that would live there, so whenever he wants to talk Disney, he calls me! Anyway, he's been trying for the last week to get a reservation for 24 people for lunch at Ariel's Grotto when we are in DL in June. He kept getting told that there were no reservations available at that time. He was so bummed, as he loves to take the grandkids (especially the granddaughters) there. He called again yesterday and was able to get a reservation for 12, and decided that was better than nothing, at least he'd be able to take the granddaughters.
Later that morning, he was on a conference call with one of his board of directors when it hit him....the man he was on conference call with is a VP of Entertainment at DL (he's the one who does all the shows and parades). Dad mentioned the problem to Chris, and Chris put him on hold for a minute. When he came back, he told Dad that he'd talked to the VP in charge of Food and they'd made all the arrangements necessary for our whole group to eat at the Grotto. Dad is so thrilled!!! I told him that's a wonderful contact to have, and couldn't he parley that contact into lifetime passes for all Disney parks??? Dad laughed and said he'd see what he could do. So, that's my good Disney news! We get to have lunch with the Princesses!!!!!
