I think that is very reasonable! A LOT less than the cost of mulch by the bag... thanks! :goodvibes
Oh yeah. If you have access to a truck, that is the way to go!!! The mulch was nice too. We ended up having to get our last load from up on Rt.1 by the airport because Norfleet was closed, and their mulch was crappy. It had a lot of junk in it.

I thought I'd post some pictures of Jacob at our last lunch with Ariel.

How cute!!!!

I just FAXed my grocery list to OKW!!!

I am not jealous..I am not jealous.....ok, I am jealous! :lmao: :rotfl:

Glynis (or anyone else, for that matter!) - are DL park hoppers like those from WDW? Do you do a biometric scan when you enter the park? Can someone else use the pass if it is used by another person first? Trying to figure out how many days we need on our hoppers... Thanks!

As far as I recall, there are no biometric scans for park hoppers. Simply a machine that you feed your ticket into (much like the fast pass machine). For the AP there might be something different, but I've never had an AP, so I don't know for sure. Tia might know more than I do.

I've been working on creating T-shirt designs to coordinate with the swim trunks that I purchased for our trip. The boys prefer swim trunks over shorts as they can get wet whenever without being uncomfortable. So I scanned in a flower pattern off a suit and then added a bit of magic. Let's see how perceptive you all are.

Can't wait to see what you guys think.

Deb

I love them! I loved them even before I looked closely! Very nice, especially for young boys -- very subtle and cool!

Good morning everyone! I hope this day finds you all well!

I just got off the phone with my dad. It was great to talk to him He's just as Disney Obsessed as I am. I think we're the only 2 in the family that would live there, so whenever he wants to talk Disney, he calls me! Anyway, he's been trying for the last week to get a reservation for 24 people for lunch at Ariel's Grotto when we are in DL in June. He kept getting told that there were no reservations available at that time. He was so bummed, as he loves to take the grandkids (especially the granddaughters) there. He called again yesterday and was able to get a reservation for 12, and decided that was better than nothing, at least he'd be able to take the granddaughters.

Later that morning, he was on a conference call with one of his board of directors when it hit him....the man he was on conference call with is a VP of Entertainment at DL (he's the one who does all the shows and parades). Dad mentioned the problem to Chris, and Chris put him on hold for a minute. When he came back, he told Dad that he'd talked to the VP in charge of Food and they'd made all the arrangements necessary for our whole group to eat at the Grotto. Dad is so thrilled!!! I told him that's a wonderful contact to have, and couldn't he parley that contact into lifetime passes for all Disney parks??? Dad laughed and said he'd see what he could do. So, that's my good Disney news! We get to have lunch with the Princesses!!!!!

What a cool story! Very nice contact!

Another day down!! 8 more to go!

i also got my first graduation card in the mail today! it was exciting (the little things excite me )

So slow but sure this student teaching thing will be over..today was day 64 out of 72...didnt think id make it this far!

Just stopping in to say hi, I have some errands to take care of this afternoon,
so I'll have to make it quick.

I didn't take notes or multi quote so I'll just say that all the pictures lately have been wonderful, cute kids, pretty princesses and beautiful flowers. And I mustn't forget creative designs.

Hope all is well with everyone, I'll try and stop in this evening and post a couple of zoo pics.

:wizard: :wizard:

I can't even imagine putting a Disney trip in jeopardy for a dance group photo. At least you can still go and have fun no matter what happens!
And I left out that my friend is footing the bill. It seems so rude to me. We will go and have a great time but I hope her SIL changes her mind and decides to just forget about the pictures.

Good morning, friends!!:)

Nothing exciting going on today. It is supposed to rain.:sad2: I guess Brother and I will go to the liberry and run some other errands. He keeps asking me for a Wiggles "journal". Sister has a Barbie journal that came with a DVD, so that might be what sparked it. Anyway, he asks me for a Wiggles journal EVERY day and I have no clue what to offer him! If I could find some Wiggles stickers I could stick them on a notebook and tell him it's a journal, but I haven't seen any Wiggles stickers. Hmm. Anybody have any ideas?

Oops! Forgot to make a sandwich for DS's lunch! Chat later!
Sounds like you need to find some clipart of the Wiggles and do some decropage (spelling?). :rotfl:

I just FAXed my grocery list to OKW!!!
That must make the trip feel really close!

I'm going to order a few snacks from a place called www.minimus.biz. They have a huge selection of single serve cereal and lots of other snacks and lots and lots of other travel size things. I figure I'll try them out for this trip and if it works well I'll use them again in August.

Janet and I booked our airfare! IT'S SO REAL NOW!!!! WHOO WHOOO!
   COOL!!!!

I had that same problem this morning! Suddenly I realized that Rachel needed to be out the door in 2 minutes and I hadn't made her lunch. Luckily, she made it as I didn't want to have to wake Terra up to drive Rachel to school.

I don't know if they still have them, but Party City has had Wiggles stickers in the past. It is with the Wiggles party stuff.

Glynis, nice pictures. :)
And like they say, when he is older and starts to give you and Alan attitude, they will make for great blackmail pictures.

Glynis is right, there are no biometric scans. They do sometimes ask you for a name to print on the back, but not always and my name has been on alot of other people's tickets since I was the one purchasing. APs have your picture on them, but no scan. The tickets are technically non-transferable, but like the old WDW tickets there isn't really a way to tell unless it is an AP.

Oh, I almost forgot though...DL tickets DO expire, at least as of a couple of years ago. I believe that all tickets expire 14 days from the first use. There is not non-expiration feature available.

Janet and I booked our airfare! IT'S SO REAL NOW!!!! WHOO WHOOO!

Oh speaking of airfare...I love DING!!!! We have a $150 SW credit, plus a $28 refund coming because of the $50 Dings this weekend. I just had to change to fly into LAX instead of Orange County, but for $178 savings, I'll gladly take it! We'll just ride the DL shuttle to DL Hotel and my friend will pick is up there (much cheaper than taking the shuttles to a residential address even if they are only 6 blocks apart.

ETA: And of course you know I'm already trying to figure out how to finagle using that credit for a trip to WDW before it expires next spring. :rolleyes1

And with that I am finally caught up and need to go fix dinner. I'm thinking french toast as Mom and Rachel have to leave for Girl Scouts in about an hour and gosh darn it, french toast sounds good! :teeth:

You know it! I've got a whole file of "saved for a future date" pictures!
