sorry to have missed you, Lindsay... HAVE A GREAT TRIP! :)

Wow! Nothing like "BANG! BANG! BANG! FIRE DEPARTMENT!!" to get one moving on a Sunday morning! I was just sure the building was on fire. I was out of bed and out the front door (in my pajamas) in a split second to see what was going on. My next door neighbor had paramedics beating on her door!:scared1: While that is infinitely better than the building being on fire I am worried about her. I did see one paramedic so I asked him if she is OK and he said yes. On the other hand, they just took her out on a stretcher and she looked unconscious! YIKES! Good thoughts for Diana, please!

OK. Now then. Good morning, DDA!

Lindsay - Have a fabulous trip!!!:goodvibes

Janet - I hope you got some sleep last night! 7 boys - oh, my! We need to go get more propane so we can grill. DH mentioned awhile ago that the tank was empty but we keep forgetting to get more.

Elin - I get called "ma'am" too. But I must say that is less offensive than "girlie"!:rotfl:

Hope we get to see lots of photos this time!:rotfl:

Have you started packing.:) I tried on a bunch of stuff today. :scared1: I've got to decide what/how much to take. I've got to wait til I get a long range weather report to decide.
No I haven't started yet. Today after church we are going to make our last run to the stores today to pick up some last thing that we need to get. The kids need a haircut too. Maybe tomorrow I can start laying things out so all I have to do on Friday is put the stuff in the suitcases.

Just a fly-by post - things have been crazy, but I think I'm about packed. Next time I post, I may be in Hawaii (or in an airport hot spot!):thumbsup2 !

ALOHA!!!! Have a great Sunday! :goodvibes
I'm sure I've missed you, Lindsay, but I hope you habe a wonderful, relaxing vacation!

You got them! How scary for you. Keep us posted.

Good morning, everyone. I need to get moving so we can head to Sunday School and Mass. Then it's off shopping. I need to get the kids' haircuts plus I want to see about getting them new sneakers. I have to go to Target for routine essentials. Looks like it's going to be another busy day here!

That is a scary wake up call! I hope she is all right!

Busy days aren't SO bad when they are the last few before a trip to WDW! :cool1:

Congratulations on all the hard work completed on your yard! I wanted to pull up all the old mulch when I did ours this weekend, but slacked off and just added soil and new mulch on top. The mulch already there is only a year old (and not really in bad shape) so it should be fine. The biggest problem I faced was planting flowers -- literally 1 or 2 inches under the mulch is just clay, everywhere! I don't understand how 20 miles away from the house I spent so many years in can be so different! :confused3

Have a great day! Are the kids getting extremely excited yet?

Below is what ours looks like for that time frame. Some of the time away from the parks could change. I promised Kyle I'd schedule some down time, but I hate down time :rotfl: We'll see though, it might be nice with the heat and if it's crowded!

Sun 5/6 Disney Studios for opening, hotel in afternoon, Epcot WS in evening
Mon 5/7 Epcot FW in AM, hotel/boardwalk/DTD afternoon, MK for evening
Tue 5/8 Mouse Quest tour (if I ever hear any reports), MK through dinner,
mini-golf in evening
Wed 5/9 relax in the AM, studios or AK in afternoon, studios evening
Thu 5/10 Epcot - segway tour, World showcase in afternoon then hotel,
etc; evening on boardwalk or maybe Fantasmic/Spectro again
Fri 5/11 breakfast at Cape May then whatever we want until airport at 6

It looks like we'll just miss each other several times, according to those schedules! I don't really think we'll be sticking to them all that well though, especially for the second half of each day. Maybe we'll run into each other some time!

Vicki -- I hope Becky, her boyfriend, and her friend all had a wonderful evening! :goodvibes

I am home from my trip to Richmond and very tired. What an exhilirating afternoon and evening.

FYI -- Tammi's Bob and talked all of 10-15 seconds. And he called me ma'am... And here I thought I looked pretty good today! :rotfl:

He actually seems like a really nice guy, which we all know Tammi and her kids deserve.

Shopping at Macy's went very well. I got two pairs of capris, a jacket, 4 tops and a white twinset that is not very dressy. I also got a new pair of flip flops and 2 new bras. I am telling you all that I have almost no clothes left from last summer and I refuse to have it cost me a mint to have enough clothes to get me through then end of the school year. So I love the one days sales that Macy's has.

Thanks for the report on Bob, Ma'm. :cheer2: for a successful shopping trip.

Yes we were! We dug out all the old mulch and wheelbarrowed it into the brush. We ended up needing 3 truckloads of new mulch, 6 yards total. But it looks great now! It was all yucky and weedy before.

The kids were outside all day playing with the neighbors. Alyssa never did get that nap, but she came around quite well. Then we grilled steaks out on the grill, along with baked potatos and salad. I figured I needed to feed him a nice meal after all that work.

I'd be flat on my back after all that, but it's sounds like a nice day.

Vicki - What a wonderful daughter you have!!! I'm sure that she'll make sure her friend has a wonderful time! My sister was stood up once, and it really damaged her self-esteem!

Tammi - Bob sounds like a real gentleman! Hooray for that! Congrats on getting all the yardwork done, and then being able to grill! We wanted to, but it was just too cold! I guess you all got our Spring. Hopefully, it will come back to us soon!

Becky - Good luck with your school decision. I've got to get on the ball and see if I can still register for a class this summer! Thanks for reminding me. Guess that's on my agenda for Monday.

Elizabeth - Sounds like you had a "good" laundry day. Sometimes I think I should just go through everyone's closets and drawers and reduce the number of clothes we all have! If they each only had 7 tops and 7 pants, it would greatly reduce the loads of laundry I'd have to do each week!

Well, I got 4 hours to myself this afternoon/evening. Alan took the kids fishing and since I don't enjoy that, I stayed home! It was so nice!!!!! They had a great time, but didn't catch one fish! I think it had something to do with the fact that Mary spent all her time throwing rocks into the lake. Oh well, at least they enjoyed themselves, and no one fell in!

I'm off to bed now! Talk to you all tomorrow!

:woohoo: for some quiet time to yourself.

Just a fly-by post - things have been crazy, but I think I'm about packed. Next time I post, I may be in Hawaii (or in an airport hot spot!):thumbsup2 !

Enjoy!

Gotta love those kind of wake up calls. Good thoughts for Diana.
