So who is around tonight?

I am but I'm exhausted so I think I'm off to bed. Mom is here and she is helping paint the doors in the breezeway. I spent the whole day getting things ready for Becky's prom and doing laundry for the camper.

Just dropping in to say hi. I have been one busy beaver, trying to finish my class, get my Girl Scout stuff done, preventing my co-leader from ripping her hair out and dealing work issues.

I am currently registered for two classes this summer starting May 14 and going through August 3rd. Oh, my that looks like forever. I am not sure if I will be taking them or not. However I figured I better register for them, I have until like May 20th to drop out. I figure maybe by having a few week break I will be able to relax enough to convince myself to take at least one summer class.

Then again I need to clean and organize my bedroom. It is a disaster, I can't even get to the closet.:scared1: I have stuff I have been meaning to eBay just haven't taken the time to list and get rid of. I have clothing that is too big to get rid of. Need I go on.

Sending prayers, :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you who are in need of them.

Did Theresa ever find out anything about the house??

 Becky! I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you.

Robyn - Well, my DH is adopted so there is really no telling who he might be related to!:rotfl2: I suppose I shouldn't gripe about him not doing laundry because he does all of the cooking. But I do think it would be nice of him to pitch in a bit more when he has THREE days off every other week. (Well, he agreed to work his 2 off days next week so he is on an 11 day stretch without a day off right now. Maybe I'll cut him some slack.)

Becky - Good luck deciding on your school schedule for summer!

Well if they were related I'd tell you to run for the hills. I sometimes wonder if Eric is related to all of them. :rotfl:

Ditto on Robyn's post! Look forward to seeing the birthday pictures Robyn.

Besides Garrett & Riley, I have 5 extra boys staying tonight  Garrett & a couple of his friends put our tent up & then another friend brought a smaller one over. So I have 7 boys & 2 tents in my backyard. This should be an interesting night lol

We cooked out for the 1st time this year, I love food cooked on the grill! We had chicken(I marinated it in lemon & pepper marinande), shrimp, & of course hot dogs :thumbsup2 I bought 4 lbs of strawberries & cut some up to put on top of Angel food cake.

I am now pooped!

Sounds like a fun night!

So who is around tonight?

I'm here but am fading fast!!

I am but I'm exhausted so I think I'm off to bed. Mom is here and she is helping paint the doors in the breezeway. I spent the whole day getting things ready for Becky's prom and doing laundry for the camper.

Night, Vicki!

Well I'm still like 16 pages back.
Just can't keep my eyes open.
Good night all.
Catch ya later.

I'm calling it a night as well, night all!

Elin~ What are you doing next weekend. DC is off the schedule for tomorrow and rescheduled for next Saturday. We are exhausted and there is no way I can drag the girls out tomorrow. Can't wait to hear about your shopping trip.

Tammi~ Way to go Nicholas!! I am sure you are enjoying the time with your helper! ;)

Anne Marie~ Wow the girls are beautiful. Looks like a great night. I  my Mickey Mouse key. Molly saw the keys at Ace Hardware one night when she was out with Eric and would not let him leave the store until he bought Mommy the Mickey key.

Vicki~ Can't wait to see Becky's prom pics. What a great girl you have there.

Steffy~You said it perfectly. What a great group!!

Bernadette~ Sounds like your getting all set for your trip.

Jo~ Glad you had a nice day.

Glynis~ I am happy to hear that Alan is considering a Spring Break trip. Fingers crossed for you.

Heidi~ Have fun tomorrow. Yay for regaining your closet!

Jen~ Glad you had a great day. I wouldn't stress about the postcards.

Deb~ Sorry you didn't end up with a day off.

Elizabeth~ :cheer2: for your DS on passing the tests at school. I always run out of hangers. Your DH and my DH must be separted at birth. Kids and their logic :rolleyes1

Ellen~ Sorry you are having squirrel problems.

Debbie~ Sorry the land search didn't turn out better. Enjoy the zoo tomorrow.

Karen~ Don't spend all your $$ in one place ;) Yard sales around here are so hit and miss.

Sorry it I missed anyone. :wizard: and

I am trying to upload pics from the party today, but my computer is not cooperating.

What a great update, I couldn't have done it better myself so I copied ;)

I'm home from work and caught up :thumbsup2 I will NOT be working tomorrow, I told them not to even ask :rolleyes1

I love getting postcards but don't want you to feel that it is necessary! That goes for everyone on the thread. Please don't feel like you have to do it. If you have time (and the patience!) then great, but just sharing your stories and pictures when you get back is enough of a joy for me.
Same goes for me.

While we are talking about it, I'll let you all know now that I won't be sending any this trip around. Time has just gotten away from me. But I will definitely fill you up with stories and pictures when we return. :goodvibes

I am home from my trip to Richmond and very tired. What an exhilirating afternoon and evening.

FYI -- Tammi's Bob and talked all of 10-15 seconds. And he called me ma'am... And here I thought I looked pretty good today! :rotfl:

He actually seems like a really nice guy, which we all know Tammi and her kids deserve.

Shopping at Macy's went very well. I got two pairs of capris, a jacket, 4 tops and a white twinset that is not very dressy. I also got a new pair of flip flops and 2 new bras. I am telling you all that I have almost no clothes left from last summer and I refuse to have it cost me a mint to have enough clothes to get me through then end of the school year. So I love the one days sales that Macy's has.

Well Becky is off to dinner & the prom. I'm sorry you will all have to wait for pictures. I took the pictures on my camera and she asked to borrow it since it takes better pictures than hers. I didn't have time to download the pictures I had taken before she left. You'll all have to wait until tomorrow for pictures. She looked like a princess. Her boyfriend wore a white tux and looked quite handsome. They made a striking couple.

I ended up pulling her hair all up on top of her head and making a bun after I curled it all. It looked quite nice. She didn't want to have the beautician do it this year so mom got the honors. I also did her friends hair. :scared: She asked me if I could do french braids. :scared1: I haven't done those in years. The girls hair is so fine it really doesn't look that great. As you all know, I'm a very simple person - wash my hair, run a brush through it & go. So putting up two girls hair had me quite stressed. They both turned out quite nice actually. I surprised myself.
I hope she has a wonderful time. The 2 proms that I went to are very special memories for me. Every teenager should have a magnificent time!

Hi, Tammi. :wave2: I bet you will be sore tomorrow. You all were working really hard this afternoon!

Time for me to get to bed. See you in the morning, DDA!

And he called me ma'am... And here I thought I looked pretty good today! :rotfl:
I don't know which is worse, that or Girlie, which I get called.

I wish would have remembered to point out to him, when you were here, that you are the piano teacher. He is trying to teach himself. After you let he said "now which friend is that?" I'm overloading him with info on all of you!

I'm glad you had a productive day shopping and a fun time tonight.

Hi, Tammi. :wave2: I bet you will be sore tomorrow. You all were working really hard this afternoon!

Yes we were! We dug out all the old mulch and wheelbarrowed it into the brush. We ended up needing 3 truckloads of new mulch, 6 yards total. But it looks great now! It was all yucky and weedy before.

The kids were outside all day playing with the neighbors. Alyssa never did get that nap, but she came around quite well. Then we grilled steaks out on the grill, along with baked potatos and salad. I figured I needed to feed him a nice meal after all that work.

Good night Elin. I'm heading to bed myself.

Good night to anyone else that remains.

Same goes for me.

Just don't forget the camera!!!!

I can't wait to see the pictures of Alyssa on her birthday! Not to mention all the other fun stuff that's going to happen!

Vicki - What a wonderful daughter you have!!! I'm sure that she'll make sure her friend has a wonderful time! My sister was stood up once, and it really damaged her self-esteem!

Tammi - Bob sounds like a real gentleman! Hooray for that! Congrats on getting all the yardwork done, and then being able to grill! We wanted to, but it was just too cold! I guess you all got our Spring. Hopefully, it will come back to us soon!

Becky - Good luck with your school decision. I've got to get on the ball and see if I can still register for a class this summer! Thanks for reminding me. Guess that's on my agenda for Monday.

Elizabeth - Sounds like you had a "good" laundry day. Sometimes I think I should just go through everyone's closets and drawers and reduce the number of clothes we all have! If they each only had 7 tops and 7 pants, it would greatly reduce the loads of laundry I'd have to do each week!

Well, I got 4 hours to myself this afternoon/evening. Alan took the kids fishing and since I don't enjoy that, I stayed home! It was so nice!!!!! They had a great time, but didn't catch one fish! I think it had something to do with the fact that Mary spent all her time throwing rocks into the lake. Oh well, at least they enjoyed themselves, and no one fell in!

I'm off to bed now! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hope we get to see lots of photos this time!:rotfl:

Have you started packing.:) I tried on a bunch of stuff today. :scared1: I've got to decide what/how much to take. I've got to wait til I get a long range weather report to decide.

I am home from my trip to Richmond and very tired. What an exhilirating afternoon and evening.

Just a fly-by post - things have been crazy, but I think I'm about packed. Next time I post, I may be in Hawaii (or in an airport hot spot!):thumbsup2 !

ALOHA!!!! Have a great Sunday! :goodvibes
