Oh that would be so nice right now!

Glad to hear the boys had fun bowling & it sounds like you are all having a great time now!

Speaking of bathing suits. We just put ours to good use. The pool here is 90 degrees. The kids bowled well for 2 of the 3 games and each had a bad game. Oh well, they seemed to have fun and they are enjoying the hotel. Hunter keeps saying this is really nice, we are staying at a Holiday Inn Express so wait until he sees DVC. I think he might flip out :lmao:

Sure - I'd love any Super Nanny tricks!

Also - anyone know some early signs of autism? My nephew (same family as the one I've been talking about) is almost 2 1/2, has little facial expressions or responses a lot of the time, isn't talking, takes forever to respond to someone who calls his name, has little motor skills, etc. (His daily existence seems to be limited to watching cartoons, running and jumping off of furniture, and screaming randomly.) Some of us in the family are beginning to suspect that there may be at the very least developmental delays, but as his parents don't work with him or seem much concerned, he's not going to be tested or put in front of professionals that would be able to spot the signs anytime soon.

Has he developed any "tics"? My nephew, who is autistic, first exhibited signs by "twirling." He has a piece of rope that he will twirl around for hours. No exaggeration. I've seen him do it for at least 2 hours without stopping. His therapist says it's his way of dealing with the confusion that's all around him. It comforts him. It would be best if he could be tested and possibly diagnosed, since at that point, there will be a lot of treatments opening up for him. He might also qualify for a Head Start program.

Yep. Getting out of that tankini is as much of a challenge as getting in!:rotfl2:

I keep forgetting to tell you guys about my bargain! I was at Dillard's yesterday and found a 25" Delsey suitcase for $45 (originally $180). I am sort of a luggage addict.:rolleyes1 I bought DH a new Delsey carry-on for the Feb trip and he really likes it. This one is the same size as a couple of our Samsonites, so we will use it in August instead of the duffle I usually use for my shoes. The duffle has one of those telescoping handles and the framework for the handle takes up a lot of the interior room in the bag, so I should be able to fit a lot more in the new suitcase. Not sure how much more I really NEED to fit in there, but you just never know.;)

I have a GREAT idea, friends... instead of me trying to plan a trip to WDW for me and my "children" who were all born in May and June... let's all move to WDW and live there.

Here is your challenge.... if you could live anywhere on WDW property, where would it be? I will go first:

I would live on the International Gateway from the Beach Club over to Epcot. I would put an apartment over the gift shop there after you enter the turnstiles back there.

Well, I don't know WDW well enough to have an opinion on this, but I do know DL. I tell Alan that when it's time to retire I want to move to DL and live on Main Street U.S.A. I'd love to live in Walt's apartment above the fire station!!!

Alan and I are back from our little getaway! It was a fun trip, and we had a really great time! We had dinner last night at a little hole in the wall Mexican place. The food was so incredible!!!!! After dinner, we went to Cold Stone Creamery. I forget the name of the creation, but it was delicious!!! Sweet cream ice cream, yellow cake pieces, Bing cherries, pecans and honey!!! So good! We split it, which actually means I had 4 bites and Alan finished the rest, but those 4 bites were spectacular!!!!!

Now, we're home, and I'm exhausted!!!!! It was a long drive, and Alan had to edit on the fly, so I drove! Not my favorite thing at all! Oh well, he can just fix dinner for all of us! I'm heading to bed soon, and it's only 5:40 here!

Elin- your birthday is the day before mine. I would live somewhere in Epcot's World Showcase...not sure where yet.

We had the B & B all to ourselves. The owners "decided" to paint the room we were supposed to have http://www.victoriaskeep.com/castleview.htm

so the put us in this one: http://www.victoriaskeep.com/abbeyview.htm

It was beautiful:love:

We went to supper at a yummy place....I haven't eaten that much in the last 2 weeks combined....2 hrs of companionable silence and then a slow walk.

When we woke up, we had an interesting breakfast...Jimmy forgot to tell them I can't eat coconut and he doesn't like asparagus.....there was still enough to fill us up.

We went and visited the castle you can see in the second room's picture....again beautiful!! and slowly walked through the town of Manitou Springs.

I didn't have a inch of stress stomach until we headed out of Colorado Springs....we just really need to hear about our house and loan.

I do that with Cold Stone....I get 4 or 5 bites and Jimmy gets the rest. That creation sounds yummy.

Glynis & Theresa - Sounds like you both enjoyed your short get aways!:)

I think I have finally finished, uh, amending, those agency agreements. If I was smart I would have Momboss go over them for me before I meet with the agents, but I won't see her before then. Well, if the agents balk at my creative editing then I will tell them they can talk to my attorney about it. I can guarantee that if the majority of nannies they see don't have resumes then they don't have attornies either, so the agencies would be better off not challenging me.;)

I wish my ticker looked more like Tammi's or Stephanie's!;)

"124 days" still sounds like a very, very LONG time.

Unless you consider that when I come back from that trip my job will be over, then it sounds like not much time AT ALL!:scared:

I hope that the perfect position comes along for you, Elizabeth!

Oh crap, Jen. When I was at the mall today I meant to look in the Disney store for your antenna topper. I forgot! Seeing your post reminded me of it. I didn't even make it to the Disney store. Sorry! :guilty: But if you haven't got one by the time I leave I'll get you one from WDW!

I love my ticker!!!! :cloud9:

I looked when I was up in Syracuse. They had no graduation antenna toppers. In fact, they had very few at all, and they were all old ones.

Congrats on the two good games each!

Hunter's reaction reminds me of a funny little thing Miles said last August. We had stayed the first week at my parents' two bedroom time share. We arrived at POR. Miles walked in and kept looking around. I asked him what we was looking for, and he said, "I think they forgot the living room and kitchen." He'd been in hotel rooms before, but I guess he didn't realize that we were going fromt the condo to a single hotel room. :rotfl:

Glynis, glad that you had a great time! I wish that I could be happy with 4 bites of ice cream.

It sounds like a lovely time. I hope that there is very little stress and that you are in your new house and settled quickly!

Evening all.
:cool1:
Great day here today.
Sunny & warm all day.
Now it's raining.

Sounds like you both had a very nice night away :goodvibes

Glynis the ice cream sounds yummy. I bought myself some fudge brownie chocolate yogurt ice cream & it is so good. Taste just like regular chocolate & I do not feel to guilty when I eat some lol

Theresa the place you stayed at looks beautiful. I am glad you were able to get away & have a stress free night. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Hopefully you will hear something about your loan Monday :wizard:

Katie had 2 parties today. She went out at 12pm came back in a 5 & went right back out at 5:30pm I am going to get her at 10:30pm. (if I can stay awake!:lmao: )

Karen - That is just wrong. I hope they get some new applicants soon!

I second that, Karen! What a terrible thing to have to deal with just to get the help that you need. I would hope that the agencies out there would do a better job!
