How is everyone doing? Is Nicholas feeling better?

Good luck with the coffee date. Hopefully it will go better than you are expecting.
Thanks Ellen. Nicholas is doing a lot better and he'll go to school tomorrow. So far so good with Alyssa.

I really enjoy the Exploration Trail & the Jungle Trek. However, I don't know if I would do it with a short week-end. Chuck & I did the Flights of Wonder and it was definitely a hit! I also enjoy the Pocahontas and her Forest Friends.
Based on everyone's recommendations, I think we will do Pocahontas and Flights of Wonder, as well as EE (if Alyssa is tall enough), FotLK and the new Nemo show. I'm trying to fit our AK time into half a day. This should do it. Thanks everyone.

I took a pair of old pants which we too big and had been taken in, but they had a broken zipper on them. I could get the zipper closed but half the time not open again, it didn't matter as they were still to big. I shortened them and then I cut them to look semi ragged on the bottom. I stole my brothers huge shirt, and wore a pair of knee highs and yes I had a pair of pants on underneath as it was about 20 degrees the night of the Halloween parade when I wore it and I was trying to avoid bare skin as the pants were cut about half way up my thighs, I went overboard on the cutting. I wasn't going for the princess pirate look though.

For Pirate Night on my cruise, I just wore a pair of striped capris I owned and a white shirt and red sash around my waist, for some reason I don't have a picture of me dressed up, only my face and upper body.

I love the picture Becky. The picture has helped alot.

Evening all.
Hope you all had a better day than me.
Had classes yesterday & today.
So no work.
I passed class, no problem.
BUT at lunch.
I broke a front tooth.
The whole tooth is gone.
I just heard a pop.
I'm thinking WTH. :scared1:
It was gone, I had shallowed it without knowing.
It happened so fast.
So I have a Denist appt @ 9:30 A.M.
I have brittle teeth (have had my front 1's done 2x's before).
Also have other problems caused by med's when I was a kid.
I hope I can talk them into just taking them all out this time.
I'm so sick of getting this done every few years.
Well so much for my sad story. :rolleyes1
All in all everything else is good. :woohoo:

:grouphug: Sorry about the tooth.

So here is my day in a nutshell. DB calls at 8 AM apparently Nick and his daughter Summer punched each other at the bus stop and he wants me to take appropriate measures with Nick. 8:02 AM Nick calls to tell me that he forgot his sneakers which he had to have for his field trip and the bus leaves in 25 minutes :scared1: Those would be the same sneakers that I specifically told him to put in his backpack last night :sad2: So Colby and I put on our coats over our Jammies and head to school with the sneakers. Nick met us at the curb. He tells me how Summer had hit him first and he was just protecting himself. I told him we would discuss it when he got home. I headed home and finished picking up the house for Colby's appointment later in the day. Then off to bring Colby to school, ran a bunch of errands and home for a quick lunch. We picked up Nick and Hunter at school along with Hunter's Mouse and the Motorcycle project. We had 20 minutes to get to the Medical Supply Store to pick up Hunter's special needs stroller. Thankfully it was set up perfectly for him so we didn't have to spend much time there. The stroller is nice, but the $1790 price tag seems a bit much :scared1: Our insurances will cover it thankfully. We rushed home for 4 PM for Colby's speech eval. Turns out he is speaking at an appropriate level for his age. He has a bit of trouble with his C's and G's, but she said that is not abnormal for his age. So the pediatrician and all of my family that had concerns were wrong :cool1: I'm glad that we had him checked out and very relieved that he is ok. After she left I made dinner, we ate and rushed off to Cub Scouts. Now I finally get to relax although Chris tells me that I need to watch a video on the new Toyota Tundra and take a test with him :confused3
I could handle everything except watching the video on the truck! :rotfl2:

I'm game if you are. Together we can do it!!

Deb

Ok, I have to finish up some stuff from this work project by Friday but I'm ready to get started this week-end. Let's come up with our plan and share it with each other. We'll then contact each other to make sure we are following through on the plan.

Now now...you just never know. :thumbsup2
Our lifestyles don't seem to mesh. He was and IT guy for the govt then opened up his own store, selling motorcycle equipment and apparel. He is big into motorcycles and his bike club. Just can't see it being my style. But you're right, you just never know. So I'm giving it a shot.

I'm trying to plan which parks to hit this weekend and I'm looking for some recommendations from anyone that has done any of the following. Are they hits or misses.

Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
Maharajah Jungle Trek
Flights of Wonder
Pocahontas and her Forest Friends

Tammi
I have done all many times.
So yes hit.
May I add do the killaminjaro safari 1st thing in AM.
That's when you will see the most animals.

I'm having my coffee date tomorrow morning! From the phone chats we've been having, I'm getting the feeling he is not my type. Tomorrow I'll know for sure if there is any chemistry there.

Well, even if he's not Mr. Right I hope you have an enjoyable visit!

Jo - I haven't scrapped mini golf entirely.:rotfl: We might go that evening after Blizzard beach, but come back to the hotel for a nap & some dinner first. OR we could go on the evening of our AK day after dinner. We do have APs, but they will be expired when we go in August. I need to figure out if we are renewing all of them or just mine or what. The tickets with our package will cover us for all of the days, so if we decide not to renew it's not a big deal. Our DDE card is good until the last day of August, so we will have that to cover the 4 TS meals we aren't using dining plan credits for. (We are TS junkies.)

That sounds like a good plan to me. The trails are nice but I don't think I'd take the time on such a short trip.

Sounds good. I had planned to walk from Colby's school to Chris's work today, but it was 28 degrees, windy with snow flurries so that didn't happen. I am however staying solidly on my diet :thumbsup2

Last night when I was at my mom's, I got a call from Chuck. He tells me "Guess what? I got a package from kitchensinkguy." He got a vacuum packed object in the shape of a truck. He didn't want to open it until I got home but he thinks it is a Toyota t-shirt. I told him that he was going to have to get his own account and post a thank you but he said he thought I would do it for him!

Thank you Chris! He hasn't opened the package yet because I want to get a picture of the cute little package. That made his day and mine also.

There's nothing wrong with motorcycle guys!! Chris and I both ride though not as much as we'd like too. You may be pleasantly suprised

Well, he doesn't sound like my type, but DH wasn't my type, either!:rotfl2:

I can see it now. Tammi, the biker momma, cruising to WDW on her Hog.;) I have to say I admire him for getting out of IT and following his dreams.

Ok, why do you have to take the test?

That would be the truck that he is trying to sell Chuck on. He wants to buy one eventually too so I should know all there is to know about it, right? Maybe Chuck should take my place :scratchin

Elizabeth, I received the package of pins today. Thank you very much. As I suspected, Becky is going to "steal" the Tink one. I may keep a couple of them myself. I want to collect full body pins of the characters for my curtain.

Tammi,

I did the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. I really liked it because you can go at your own pace. Lots of beautiful birds. You had up close time with some things.
The gorillas were just waking up and were so comical.
