Evening all.
Hope you all had a better day than me.
Had classes yesterday & today.
So no work.
I passed class, no problem.
BUT at lunch.
I broke a front tooth.
The whole tooth is gone.
I just heard a pop.
I'm thinking WTH. :scared1:
It was gone, I had shallowed it without knowing.
It happened so fast.
So I have a Denist appt @ 9:30 A.M.
I have brittle teeth (have had my front 1's done 2x's before).
Also have other problems caused by med's when I was a kid.
I hope I can talk them into just taking them all out this time.
I'm so sick of getting this done every few years.
Well so much for my sad story. :rolleyes1
All in all everything else is good. :woohoo:
OUCH! I hope you can get it fixed quickly.

All I can say is OMG!! That is horrible. I hope that you can get it fixed or a new one really quickly. :wizard: :wizard:

:cool1:
Guess what I booked the trip yesterday and today is the 180 mark!!:lmao:

I gotta figure out where we are eating (other than WCC with Deb and the boys) while we are there!!

The last time I was a WDW you went and picked up a phone once you were in the park for where you wanted to eat that day. I  Biergarten...that's the only place I remember eating at.

I guess that's what we will be doing this week.

:cool1:  Theresa's going to WDW! Now the fun starts. I love the planning!

Our new ones are Citrico's, Flying Fish, Teppanyaki, LTT and WCC. All dinners. We will most likely have breakfast at WCC after the fishing excursion, just because we're staying at WL. I guess we are trying a fair amount of new places!

We've never been to Ohana. I think I would have liked the menu they had before they changed it the first time - we had an ADR that I cancelled when they made all the changes. DH would probably like it, but DS and I are probably better off at Kona!

Our new ones are CRT for breakfast; Ohana, Trails End & Coral Reef for dinner; and SciFi & Garden Grill for lunch.

I'm having my coffee date tomorrow morning! From the phone chats we've been having, I'm getting the feeling he is not my type. Tomorrow I'll know for sure if there is any chemistry there.

How is everyone doing? Is Nicholas feeling better?

Good luck with the coffee date. Hopefully it will go better than you are expecting.

Baloo set this thread up to function exactly as it is. It was for us to chat on. Baloo fought hard to get us this forum and this thread so we should be ok. Lets give a big Thank you to Baloo:thumbsup2

Deb

Very correctly said.
Thank you so much Alicia.
By they way stop being such a stranger.
Pop in & see us a little more often.

I'm trying to plan which parks to hit this weekend and I'm looking for some recommendations from anyone that has done any of the following. Are they hits or misses.

Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
Maharajah Jungle Trek
Flights of Wonder
Pocahontas and her Forest Friends

I really enjoy the Exploration Trail & the Jungle Trek. However, I don't know if I would do it with a short week-end. Chuck & I did the Flights of Wonder and it was definitely a hit! I also enjoy the Pocahontas and her Forest Friends.

Tammi have you ever taken the train to The Conservation Station? This is where we had pictures taken with Jiminy Cricket & there are other characters there as well. They have a petting zoo too. We have also done the Maharajah Jungle Trek & enjoyed that.

The Conservation Station is always so uncrowded when we have been there. I love it. There is lots of character interaction with the ones that are there. It is neat seeing the animal doctors working behind the glass. I enjoy seeing the kids at the petting zoo as well.

So, what was the book?

I just finished Inkspell by Cornelia Funke, and loved it! It's a sequel to Inkheart, also very good.

Today I began Rebecca which is our book club's choice for February's discussion. It's really good so far! I loved the movie, and I feel like the book is even better (as is usually the case!)

By Daphne DuMaurier (sp?)? That is one of my all-time favorite books! :thumbsup2

for tammi, elizabeth and vicki if any one of you go to world of disney store could you take a picture of the tink costume for girls for me. thank you.

I'm not there until the end of Feb. but I'm happy to take the picture for you. Becky would be thrilled to have me get one!

Did you hear Tink is going to be in the parade for the Pirates & Princess Party? Woohoo. :woohoo:

We got a Disney code in the mail for 40% off certain weeks at Disney. Chuck gave it to me. He said "maybe this will make you happy". I was in a great mood until I got an email blaming my team for something that set me off. Anyway, the way he handed it to me made me believe he'll let us go again this year! :woohoo:

WOO HOO! Hope another trip is in the works! :goodvibes

I want a code! :sad1:

The radio station I have my alarm clock set to has DJs at WDW for the press event. They will be giving away trips beginning Monday. I imagine it will be like the trips for HCOE where you have to be the 100th NATIONWIDE caller. I would almost rather pay for the trip and be done with it!:rotfl2:

OK, I *think* I have FINALLY worked out our schedule for August. (How many times have you heard that?)

8/16 - MK (hopefully AM EMH)
8/17 - Blizzard Beach
8/18 - AK (hopefully AM EMH)
8/19 - Epcot (Hopefully AM EMH)
8/20 - MK
8/21 - Fishing 7 AM, breakfast, Pool at WL, DTD for La Nouba and Dinner
8/22 - Epcot
8/23 - MGM (Fantasmic with Anne Marie & Bernadette:) )
8/24 - MK for the morning before we have to go to the airport

I think this might just be the final draft! I wanted our fishing day to be kind of in the middle since that will be a "relaxing" day at the resort. I wanted BB on a weekday, and I think it will be good to have it on our 2nd day since we won't be tired yet!

Did ya change your mind on mini golf?
We had free passes the 1st time we went.
Had so much fun.
We do it now every vacation.
If you have AP it's 1/2 price.

We reached a personal milestone today,

Our mortgage is now "Paid in Full"!

Awesome!!!!! Congrats! party:

Well, the potatoes were scalloped, but they were there. And, to me, the meat was amazing! We had steak (which I had 3 servings of), turkey, sausage and I think one other thing, but I don't recall. The turkey was so good in the peanut sauce and the steak was delicious. Plus there were wantons to start, teriaki shrimp and stir fried veggies. The meats were all seasoned or marinated, so that might be a problem if he likes his meat plain, but it might be worth a try if he could go for the marinades.

Oh, I'm so glad we have this on our list for Feb. Yummy!

Ouch, Jo! Here's some :wizard: that the dentist appt. goes well - and to your liking!

So here is my day in a nutshell. DB calls at 8 AM apparently Nick and his daughter Summer punched each other at the bus stop and he wants me to take appropriate measures with Nick. 8:02 AM Nick calls to tell me that he forgot his sneakers which he had to have for his field trip and the bus leaves in 25 minutes :scared1: Those would be the same sneakers that I specifically told him to put in his backpack last night :sad2: So Colby and I put on our coats over our Jammies and head to school with the sneakers. Nick met us at the curb. He tells me how Summer had hit him first and he was just protecting himself. I told him we would discuss it when he got home. I headed home and finished picking up the house for Colby's appointment later in the day. Then off to bring Colby to school, ran a bunch of errands and home for a quick lunch. We picked up Nick and Hunter at school along with Hunter's Mouse and the Motorcycle project. We had 20 minutes to get to the Medical Supply Store to pick up Hunter's special needs stroller. Thankfully it was set up perfectly for him so we didn't have to spend much time there. The stroller is nice, but the $1790 price tag seems a bit much :scared1: Our insurances will cover it thankfully. We rushed home for 4 PM for Colby's speech eval. Turns out he is speaking at an appropriate level for his age. He has a bit of trouble with his C's and G's, but she said that is not abnormal for his age. So the pediatrician and all of my family that had concerns were wrong :cool1: I'm glad that we had him checked out and very relieved that he is ok. After she left I made dinner, we ate and rushed off to Cub Scouts. Now I finally get to relax although Chris tells me that I need to watch a video on the new Toyota Tundra and take a test with him :confused3

Now now...you just never know. :thumbsup2

We were on a league as a family when I was a kid and we had one family who hated us because it was a handicap league....well we got better each week (which is a good thing) and would end up beating our opponents because of our handicaps added in. Drove them nuts....they needed to take a chill pill!!

When I was in college, I was in a women's league and a men's league. The men's league was Chuck's team. They lost a bowler and couldn't find a replacement. Our friend Bob knew I was a good, consistent bowler that continuously improved so they asked me. By the end of the season, I had the 2nd highest average on the team. Chuck & I really enjoyed being on the team together.

Debbie - congrats on the mortgage! I can't imagine what that must feel like! :woohoo: :woohoo: I got excited enough about my car! :rotfl:

Tammi - hope the coffee date goes well, and that you get a conclusive "feeling" one way or the other.
