to you.
I am also a person that has a hard time saying no, but this year I did. I cut back on my cub scout responsibilities because I have a part time job and I am much happier for it. The cub scouts are doing fine without my hand in every aspect. I also have stopped helping out with our snowmobile club (we don't have any snow this year anyway) and I don't go to any meetings that I know will end up with me volunteering to do something. This may sound selfish, but I have more time to spend on the important things In my life, my dh, 3 ds and of course Disney. Becky you are at the point that I was last year at this time. You are one person and can only do so much, let others carry some of the load. You have but one life to live so make sure that you enjoy it.

I second this. Don't wait until you are my age! Life is too short and you need to spend it doing the things that are MOST important to you. I know that I made a difference in many peoples lives - I've been told by many of my Girl Scouts. However, it took a terrible toll on my family and myself. You need to learn to say no. Others WILL pick up and if they don't, then so be it.
I know you have commitments that you have made that you should keep. Just remind yourself to say NO to any more requests until those obligations are over. Once they are over, then take some time to determine what is most important to you.
to you in the mean time.

to Marti and Paul for the PD for Vicki's daughter!
to Kate for the DL trip! I read Birnbaum's when preparing for my DL trip - I will say it's much more informative than the WDW version, but still not THAT great. Glynis' advice was the best!
to Brenda - I'm glad you've gotten what you wanted, and hope things go well (and quickly) for you and DS as you start your new life!
I know they're just concerned, but it is definitely affecting my mood and positive outlook. I think I may have to do the biopsy sooner rather than later to get them off my back.
