I think I have posted more today than I have in a months time. I am so ready to leave for my trip and have been packing and trying to work (work what is that).

ANYWAYS IT IS SNOWING HERE IN GOOD OLD ALABAMA. It has been like forever since we last had snow. Of course I doubt it will stick as the temperature is at 35 rigth now.

We were supposed to get snow this W/E here in Atlanta but haven't seen any, it is pretty cold though and wet and dismal.

I'm with you, I have washed the white T's and canvas bags, have bought the pillow slips and printed off some of Denise's designs she personalized for me but too nervous to iron them yet.
I need to finish printing the designs for our cruise first and then I will try get a w/e to get them ironed.

Thank you, I forgot I had to wash the shirts. I printed out most of what I need & was going to iron them on tonite. Totally forgot about washing them. :confused3

Make sure you do not use a fabric softner on them when you dry them. I think it causes the design not to stick as well. Good luck with your ironing. Actually I thought the ironing was the easiest part.

Must wash and iron, I did all the whites together but havent done the others, it is bad enought I have to do laundry besides all this washing, I also want to do some tie dye mickey shirts, have everything just need to get down and do it. Let us know how the shirts come out.

My DS5 is outside playing in the snow as it comes down. I am not sure if he has ever seen snow before. He is so excited. He is :bounce: around. He came in and said the snow feels just like water. :rotfl:

I don't know what the word easy means. I actually printed out 5 shirts on wrong side of the transfer paper. How stupid. I understand doing it once, I wasn't paying attention, but then I did it 4 more times in the same night? :badpc:
When I ironed on my transfers in September, a few of them were off center. Now understand, I am pooh sized, so finding the center of the shirt on a very large shirt can be difficult. :lmao: Thankfully, most of the shirts (except mine) that I am doing are smaller sizes.

Thanks for the fabric softener tip. A few of my shirts from Sept are peeling and cracking, so maybe it's from the fabric softener. Thanks, Penny

You mean iron them before you iron on the transfer? The only time I use my iron is when I iron on transfers. :rotfl: If it can't be hung up with no wrinkles, it goes to the dry cleaners and they iron it. I hate to iron with a passion.
Thanks, Penny

The shirts for me are pretty big so maybe that explains one of mine being crooked. :rotfl: I made the one with the airplane for three of us and mine is a bit crooked but I am going to just wear it anyway. I know I probably will not wear it again anytime soon so could not just make me another one. THe smaller ones are much easier to center for sure.

:grouphug: My thoughts & prayers are with you & Bill.

I wanted to let everyone know that Bill's dad died late last night. Even though we knew it was coming, it was still a shock. Bill being the only child is having a tough time.

Thanks for the kind words.

Now I want to share with all my DDA friends how I plan to spread some pixie dust. I am sending a piglet and a post card to a 5-year-old little girl who was burned severely when a cintronella candle caught her on fire.

Jennifer, love your card & you are a beautiful bride :goodvibes :lmao: at the picture with the mugs :rotfl2:

Well..... inspired by Kevin and Amy (albeit nowhere near as talented!), and suffering from serious flu-induced cabin fever....

PS -- don't ask about the lower left photo. I think we were delirious by this point in the night! :rotfl:

My kids wear uniforms to school so I iron them every morning before they get dressed DH decided he wanted then looking neat and tidy so started doing it but now it has fallen on me.
I would think to iron the shirts first so that the surface is smooth when you iron the transfer on but then again I haven't ironed any on yet!!

Some-one had a design of an Elvis stitch, I am looking for a design or clip art to make a design as he is one of DS favorites.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, I have looked for clip art and only found a trading pin picture.
Thanks
