Alex: Alex chuckled picturing a bird without wings and said,"You're welcome. It's really cool, I wish I could do things like that! The only thing close to a trick I've ever done is make a hole in the wall the shape of a heart, I didn't even mean to do it!" Alex laughed a bit remembering the memory and watched as Serefima looked at Jack. She nudged Jack in the ribs and gave him a look telling him to say something.

Jack: Jack jumped a bit as Alex nudged him and sighed at her expression before turning to Serefima. "Hi," He said simply in his monotone husky voice looking back at Alex with a slight smile. "Happy?"

Alex: Alex rolled her eyes at Jack,"No, but I'm satisfied you said something." She turned back to Serefima with an apologetic smile,"I'm sorry for him. He's a bit of a loner." She yelped a bit when Jack pinched her and glared at him while rubbing her arm.

Serefima Kasai: Serefima laughed. "I've scorched walls," she admitted. She giggled at Jack's comment. Then laughed more when Jack pinched her. "Sorry," she said, feeling bad for have laughed. "I find things like that amusing," she said.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack annoyed. He had thought Jack may have changed, and was going to start being more friendly, but he appeared to only be nice when Alex was in the picture, and that bothered him.

River: River's eyes widened and her stomach dropped. She could tell that Serefima seemed to be bothered by her, but she didn't understand why ot what it could be. As this was the first time they had spoken.

Serefima Kasai: Serefima laughed. "I've scorched walls," she admitted. She giggled at Jack's comment. Then laughed more when Jack pinched her. "Sorry," she said, feeling bad for have laughed. "I find things like that amusing," she said.

Alex: Alex waved her hand dismissively and smiled,"It's alright. If it were anyone else I probably would have done the same." She turned back to Jack and narrowed her eyes,"That hurt by the way."

Jack: Jack shrugged his shoulders trying not to smile at Alex,"Oh well." He couldn't help but smile at her when she rolled her eyes.

Alex: "Jerk," Alex muttered quietly looking around the group and saw River looking upset. She tilted her head to the side curiously with her eyebrows furrowed with worry.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack annoyed. He had thought Jack may have changed, and was going to start being more friendly, but he appeared to only be nice when Alex was in the picture, and that bothered him.

Jack: Jack looked around bored and noticed Toby's look and sighed. 'Now what's big brother's problem?' He thought bitterly to himself looking away from him.

Alex: Alex waved her hand dismissively and smiled,"It's alright. If it were anyone else I probably would have done the same." She turned back to Jack and narrowed her eyes,"That hurt by the way."

Jack: Jack shrugged his shoulders trying not to smile at Alex,"Oh well." He couldn't help but smile at her when she rolled her eyes.

Alex: "Jerk," Alex muttered quietly looking around the group and saw River looking upset. She tilted her head to the side curiously with her eyebrows furrowed with worry.

Serefima: Serefima laughed again. Jack was funny. Then she felt guilty as she noticed River. She didn't exactly love the girl, but she seemd nice, and she felt bad for making her feel bad. "So," she said, hoping to lighten up the conversation, "What are everyone's... Abilities?"

Jack: Jack looked around bored and noticed Toby's look and sighed. 'Now what's big brother's problem?' He thought bitterly to himself looking away from him.

River: River noticed Alex's concerned look and shook her head "nothing" she mouthed slightly trying to show her that she was fine.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack with a serious face. He put his hands on Alex's shoulder and shot a look at Jack not sure if he would see it or not.

Serefima: Serefima laughed again. Jack was funny. Then she felt guilty as she noticed River. She didn't exactly love the girl, but she seemd nice, and she felt bad for making her feel bad. "So," she said, hoping to lighten up the conversation, "What are everyone's... Abilities?"

Alex: Alex smiled at Serefima for bringing up a new topic,"I can control the elements. But so far I can only use fire when I want, the other three elements are hard for me to learn so I can only use them in certain instances."

Jack: Jack sighed and stuck his hands in his swim trunks pockets,"I can stretch my body. Like you can stretch play dough." Hearing Alex giggle at his choice of words to describe his power he smiled lightly liking how she was giggling at something he said.

Jack: Jack sighed and stuck his hands in his swim trunks pockets,"I can stretch my body. Like you can stretch play dough." Hearing Alex giggle at his choice of words to describe his power he smiled lightly liking how she was giggling at something he said.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack again before responding to the question. "strength is my power, I can lift things most people couldn't move."

River: River smiled "I control water" she said simply holding her necklace in her hand.

River: River noticed Alex's concerned look and shook her head "nothing" she mouthed slightly trying to show her that she was fine.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack with a serious face. He put his hands on Alex's shoulder and shot a look at Jack not sure if he would see it or not.

Jack: Jack watched as Toby placed his hands on Alex's shoulders and set his jaw angrily. He looked at Toby, seeing his look, and clenched his hands into fists in his pockets to keep from doing anything. If Jack wanted Alex to like him he had to refrain from shouting at her best friend.

Alex: Alex nodded her head at River still slightly worried she wasn't being completely truthful but decided to let it go, for now. She looked up at Toby as he put his hands on her shoulders and shrugged lightly seeing it as nothing but a normal gesture. Alex turned back to the group and hummed lightly under her breath completely unaware of Toby and Jack.

Serefima: "Cool! And... Play dough? Actually," she laughed. "That reminds of when I was six, I pretty much boiled some play-dough. I won't boil you, though," she promised Jack. She turned to River, determined to make up for her rudeness. "River, I'm guessing you control water?"

Toby: Toby looked at Jack again before responding to the question. "strength is my power, I can lift things most people couldn't move."

River: River smiled "I control water" she said simply holding her necklace in her hand.

Serefima: "Cool! And... Play dough? Actually," she laughed. "That reminds of when I was six, I pretty much boiled some play-dough. I won't boil you, though," she promised Jack. She turned to River, determined to make up for her rudeness. "River, I'm guessing you control water?"

Alex: Alex smiled slightly modestly,"It's alright I guess. Toby's strength is incredible though, it's really cool to see him throw something really heavy! But River is much better at controlling water than I, I'm hoping one day I will learn to control it like her." She laughed hearing Serefima say she boiled her play dough. "I don't know, maybe after you see him on his worst day you'll want to boil him as well." She looked up at Jack seeing only a half smile from him making her frown.

Alex: Alex smiled slightly modestly,"It's alright I guess. Toby's strength is incredible though, it's really cool to see him throw something really heavy! But River is much better at controlling water than I, I'm hoping one day I will learn to control it like her." She laughed hearing Serefima say she boiled her play dough. "I don't know, maybe after you see him on his worst day you'll want to boil him as well." She looked up at Jack seeing only a half smile from him making her frown.

Jack: Getting an idea, Jack smirked and said teasingly,"I think I could take you if I had to Sere." Jack looked down at Alex from the corner of his eye to see her expression.

Alex: Alex frowned slightly hearing Jack tease Serefima lightheartedly and her shoulders slumped as she thought she was the only one Jack teased and actually spoke to. Regaining her composure, she straightened her posture once again and forced a smile to Serefima,"I'd be watching with some popcorn, he deserves a little repercussion."

Jack: Getting an idea, Jack smirked and said teasingly,"I think I could take you if I had to Sere." Jack looked down at Alex from the corner of his eye to see her expression.

Alex: Alex frowned slightly hearing Jack tease Serefima lightheartedly and her shoulders slumped as she thought she was the only one Jack teased and actually spoke to. Regaining her composure, she straightened her posture once again and forced a smile to Serefima,"I'd be watching with some popcorn, he deserves a little repercussion."

Serefima: Serefima laughed. "Now now, it's all fun and games until someone's.. *cough Jack *cough* ... pants gets scorched!"

Toby: Toby laughed, "it's not that great" he said smiling. He looked at Jack and could tell that he was upset, but instead of getting angry himself he looked at Jack and smiled.

River: River smiled modestly at Alex.

Jack: Jack looked at Toby as let one corner of his mouth lift in a smile.

Alex: Alex rolled her eyes playfully,"Neither of them should be modest. They're really cool with their powers, it's amazing to see when we're in gym. I just throw fire around awkwardly hoping I hit something." She smiled a small small remembering one day she accidentally missed what she was trying to hit by three feet.

Serefima: Serefima laughed. "Now now, it's all fun and games until someone's.. *cough Jack *cough* ... pants gets scorched!"

Jack: Jack subconsciously gripped onto the inside of his trunks as if she were about to set them on fire but said nothing.

Alex: Alex smiled a bit and shook her head,"There's nothing more entertaining than talking about setting your classmate's pants on fire."

Jack: Jack looked at Toby as let one corner of his mouth lift in a smile.

Alex: Alex rolled her eyes playfully,"Neither of them should be modest. They're really cool with their powers, it's amazing to see when we're in gym. I just throw fire around awkwardly hoping I hit something." She smiled a small small remembering one day she accidentally missed what she was trying to hit by three feet.

Serefima: Serefima smiled. "Actually, targets are my best skill. Watch." Closing her eyes and waving her hands, a target, a flaming target, appeared sixty feet away. Then, a flaming bow, stocked with one arrow appeared in her hands. All made of fire, it would burn a normal person. But Serefima opened her eyes and pulled back the arrow, aiming for the target. Then, she let go. The arrow flew forward and struck the center of the target. Smiling, she dropped her hands, her bow, arrow, and target all dissolving.

Jack: Jack looked at Toby as let one corner of his mouth lift in a smile.

Alex: Alex rolled her eyes playfully,"Neither of them should be modest. They're really cool with their powers, it's amazing to see when we're in gym. I just throw fire around awkwardly hoping I hit something." She smiled a small small remembering one day she accidentally missed what she was trying to hit by three feet.

Toby: Toby looked at Jack again realizing that Alex was oblivious to the two off them shooting each other looks. Toby smiled "you're not bad" he said to Alex with his hands still on her shoulders.

River: River looked down, she knew that her powers had improved immensely from when she started at this school, but she still didn't think it was anything to amazing.

Serefima: Serefima smiled. "Actually, targets are my best skill. Watch." Closing her eyes and waving her hands, a target, a flaming target, appeared sixty feet away. Then, a flaming bow, stocked with one arrow appeared in her hands. All made of fire, it would burn a normal person. But Serefima opened her eyes and pulled back the arrow, aiming for the target. Then, she let go. The arrow flew forward and struck the center of the target. Smiling, she dropped her hands, her bow, arrow, and target all dissolving.

Alex: Alex's eyes widened in wonder as Serefima hit the target and smiled. "Holy blueberries. That was incredible! You're very skilled," She said in admiration looking at the place where the target once was.
