Ooc: Haha alright.

Jack: "Forget what she said, pout some water on her anyway. That's the only thing that'll wake her up," Jack said looking towards the water. "Just don't get any in her mouth."

Alex: Alex nodded her head and ran towards the water then paused not knowing how to get the water to Serefima. Thinking back to when she saved herself from drowning in Washington she realized she was thinking about how she never got to meet her parents, she thought of something that made her sad. Concentrating, Alex thought the same holding out her palm and a small stream of water came flowing out of the water. Staying concentrated, she made her way back to Serefima and let the stream of water fall on Serefima.

Serefima: Sere saw all darkness, then cold. She gasped and opened her eyes, squintig up and feelig water on her. Everything came into focus as she sat up, the water dripping down her stomach. "Wha-" she stopped herself as it processed in her mind that she was wet. She squealed, despite a headache coming on, and brushed the water off.

Alex: Alex sighed in relief,"You're awake. Gosh, I was scared it wouldn't work." She looked around at everyone with a smile.

Jack: "Thanks to me," Jack said teasingly slightly towards Alex hoping to see her smile but instead she rolled her eyes and looked away from him. He scowled at her actions and made a mental note to speak to her later.

Serefima: Sere sighed, trying to calm herself down. "If you didn't just get me out of whatever just happened, I would be sooooo mad you put water on me." She waved her hand and the water dissolved, steaming up. "Thanks Alex, thanks Jack." She stood, her legs shaky. She brushed the sand from her jagged orange-red hair.

Margo: Margo sighed with relief that Serefima was ok. "I'm glad you're alright. I think this may be the most accident prone school ever!" Margo remembered Nate's fainting, Daniel getting stuck in the wall, Max's fight, and everything else that had happened in the past few weeks. "Do you want to go back to the school or are you feeling good enough to stay here?"

Serefima: Serefima sighed. "I think a school full of weirdos is probably accident prone, yeah," she laughed, getting stronger and feeling better gradually. "No, I can stay here, I'm feeling better." She was glad for Margo's kindness. She stretched and rubbed her red eyes, feeling like she had woken from a nap. "But I think I'll lay off my powers for a while," she added.

Alex: Alex smiled shyly and nodded her head,"You're very welcome." She looked over back to the water and her shy smile turned to a proud one as she realized she had just used water on command.

Jack: Jack nodded his head at her and watched as Alex smiled at the ocean. It was incredible for her to use water but Jack couldn't shake the look of sadness on her features as Alex used her power. Walking over to her he asked,"Are you alright?"

Alex: Alex looked up at Jack and shrugged,"Yes. Why?" She knew she must have looked pretty upset using her power but the only person she could and would ever tell why is Toby.

Jack: Jack sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair,"You looked pretty upset back there and I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He waited for her to say something but when she didn't he walked away frustrate back to the water.

Alex: Alex laughed lightly and nodded, "I think that's a good idea, we wouldn't want you to fall again and get angry when we have to wake you."

Serefima: Sere laughed. "Yeah, I've had enough water for one day." She looked around, her stomach growling. "Do they have any snacks here?" she asked, looking around as she fingered her flame necklace.

Alex: Alex shrugged her shoulders looking over to where her things were,"I'm honestly not sure. Other than the few pieces of hard candy in my cover-up I don't think so. But parents night isn't too far off now so I'm positive there will be food there.

Serefima: Smiling with relief, Serefima sighed. "Good," she said. "Typical me; just passes out and I'm worried about food," she laughed. Then, spotting something in the sand, she bent over curiously. A small, perfectly white seashell poked from the sand. She picked it up and stood. "Pretty," she noted, examining it.

Alex: Alex laughed quietly looked over to see the shell. "That's really pretty, you should keep it. I found one earlier I might turn into a necklace or anklet or something."

Serefima: Serefima nodded. "I'll be honest, I've never actually been at a beach before now.." she closed her eyes. "Well, one other time, but I was really little and..." She looked away. "Let's just say there was a reason I never went to a beach again."

Alex: Alex frowned sadly listening to her and put a hand on her shoulder and asked worriedly,"You okay?"

Serefima: For the first time in years Serefima fought to hold back tears. She turned, facing the water. "Yeah," she murmured. "It's just..." She had never opened up so much to a person. "My mother died when I was young. My first time to a beach. She drowned... and since then I've been terrified of water," she admitted, wondering if Alex would think she was a sissy now.

Alex: Alex frowned listening to Serefima and shook her head. "I'm sorry Serefima. If I had known I would have tried to wake you up another way and not pour water on you. I really am sorry about your mom though, but I don't think any less of you because of it."

Margo: Margo, who had retreated into her own thoughts for a while, suddenly snapped back. Serefima's story reminded her of her own story. Tears welled into her eyes. "I...I understand." Margo whispered. She didn't want to go into details, so all she said was, "My father was killed. It's tough." Her quiet voice quivered.

Alex: Alex turned to Margo and her frowned deepened after hearing both of the stories. "I'm sorry about your father too Margo," She said sadly wishing these terrible things hadn't happened to the two girls.

Serefima: Serefima smiled half-heartedly. "No, it isn't your fault. Even I wouldn't have thought of anything else. You did what was best," she assured. Then she turned to Margo. "Never met mine," she admitted. She looked at Alex. "Hey, don't feel bad. I've learned to live with it. And I know..." she sighed. "I'll see her again. One day," she whispered. Then, gathering herself, she ditched her frown. "Things get better."

Alex: Alex smiled lightly at Serefima and shook her head,"You're pretty strong, you know that?" She looked at Margo and added,"Both of you." Turning back to Serefima Alex sighed,"Losing a parent breaks a lot of people." She thought about her words and was proud of herself, she didn't lie about having parents or about going through what they did. What she said was true.

River: River clutched her necklace, and swallowed. She felt sick thinking about Serefima losing her mom to the water. Now she knew why Serefima seemed to shy away from her, it was because of her powers, something she couldn't change. She looked at Serefima and practically whispered "I lost my parents too."

Toby: Toby put an arm around Alex holding her close to him. He leaned into her and whispered in her ear "you okay?" He asked because of the look she had at the water, and because of all of the parent talk.
