One more drive by...but yes Pix we will be there the 3rd too :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:

hi dizzy

Glad you are making it to MHT. Sounds like it will be fun!

Maybe next year we can make this too. :thumbsup2

Alright - we have our MHT tickets ordered, and figured out costumes for the kiddos. Nothing that cool and exciting - but it will work on a short notice (and in a town that has 2 stores that sell costumes). We have exhausted most of the disney themes, so we are going HS Musical this year. Found a cheerleader costume for Alecia, and just ordered a Troy basketball costume for Alec :faint:

HSM is cool and exciting dizzy! Especially since the new movie comes out in OCT! How awesome!! Are the adults dressing up too?

True, I hadn't thought about that. I think us adults are skipping dressing up this year - this was kind of a last minute thing anyways. I said, "DH, did you know about MHT, we have never done it", he responded "how much per person", I told him "25 each", he said "not bad, lets do it" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You could say you are their teachers on vacation! :lmao:

We also spent the day today shopping for DH. He has a handful of shirts that he really likes and wears all the time, and you will never guess what color they are  . Next week we will have to take Will shopping too - these guys need some different colors in their wardrobe :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That would definitely work. We had parent teacher conference today, and explained our disney addiction to Alec's teachers. We also explained that we always bring an adult with us to help out on rides, and they both shouted that they would do it :rotfl:

Ok - ready for complete craziness. Had parent teacher conferences today for both kids. Alecia is below level in reading and comprehension (honestly this doesn't shock me, she needs to slow down and think about what she is doing). Everything else is great, she just needs to focus.

Alec on the other hand - is doing AWESOME :cool1: . He scored better then most the kids in his class on much of the curriculum, and is continuing to improve rapidly on the skills he needs help on :yay:

:rotfl2: Get them PINK shirts.

More volunteers I see! :lmao:

Oh that's awesome!!! Congrats to both of them. Get Alicia's head out of the clouds and stop daydreaming about Troy and she'll be great! :lmao:

Sounds like you have a lot of great people up there for Alec!:goodvibes

Ok I've got to get back up to the studio. Morgan usually helps out in between ballet and her hip hop class in the younger hip hop class but with her not going to bed last night I knew she would be tired and I picked her up to eat dinner and rest. Now we go back for hip hop for an hour.

Talk to you later dizzy! :goodvibes

Hope he didn't think you meant 0.25 each. :rotfl:

We enjoyed it last year, but the boys were so tired after the day in the parks that we were only there I think an hour and a half... if that! I think there was a LOT of it we didn't get to see. I hope you guys have fun!

WOOHOO for Alec! :woohoo:

Dizzy, is Alecia young for her grade? DS8 had problems staying focused last year, partly due to the fact that he was sitting with a couple class clowns that he thought were HILARIOUS, but perhaps partly due to immaturity, as he'd just had his birthday a few weeks before school started. Just a thought.

Oh, and DH is coaching a soccer team (actually two), and we saw the tail end of the first practice this week. One of the girls on the team reminds me so much of Alecia! She was just this cute, tiny little pixie, strawberry blond hair. Though her hair was stick-straight, with the crown hair pulled up into a ponytail on the top of her head. Normally I think that looks utterly silly (hair was about shoulder length), but she was soooo stinkin' cute, she looked adorable! :lovestruc
