The Celebrity Apprentice 2

I don't think so. It was all decided on him picking "E" over "Z". They almost didn't even need a Boardroom segment because of that. :sad2:

I am not a fan of Tom Greene, but I almost fell over laughing when he was making fun of the name "EEE (triple E)...sounds like a bra size". :lmao: It really was a stupid name!

Man, I got a headache listening to both teams decided what exactly they were going to do!!! :headache: :headache: :headache: Yak, yak, yak and nothing is getting done. :headache:

What was Scott thinking with the E??? :confused3

And then Brandie making that comment about wanting to get that outfit off quickly (or something on those lines)!!! Tony from Zapps.com was none to happy about that line. Claudia, despite her cold, was stumpling all over the place with her presentation.

Although I thought the men's story was great, their models were great and Tom's presentation was great....it all came down to the E!!! ::yes::

Does he even understand the concept of team work?

What's with Tom Green? Does he have Tourette's? I hate comics who need to be funny in non-funny situations and spew off at the mouth with non-funny stuff.

Jumping into this late...but why are so many comics like this? I've known a couple (non-famous) comics, and they were both like this -- all. the. time. It got old really, really fast.

I have to admit he was right about the name, though. Why didn't they call their character Zee -- Zappos, everytime, everywhere -- or whatever their "e" words were?

I'm glad we got a chance to see Clint Black's other side. I thought he was going to be the "good ol' boy" like the country singer from last year... we need versatility... besides, most of the southern gentlemen I know are *****s so he showed THAT SIDE!! :happytv:

Still cannot STAND the poker face and Tom Green just gives me the skeevies... :scared: Poor Scott, I really like him but that EEE thing? :confused3 I've been in commercial marketing for years and you NEVER change the brand... that was just WRONG!

But if Scott hadn't gone because of the "Z"-less cartoon character, it would have still made absolute sense for him to get fired for not having/keeping control of his team. Too bad, too - because their character did have the better costume.

Tom is brilliant? Probably. Tom has good ideas? Um, I think so - but in all fairness, who could really tell? He kept talking and talking and talking and talking... the Energizer Bunny aspires to be Tom Green someday ;) There were some good suggestions in there, but I can understand why everyone tuned him out.

Yes, Clint Black kept talking over people - but he WAS talking, and other team members kept interrupting. We don't see every minute of the task, just - pretty much - what supports the win and the firing. On the other hand, as Project Manager, it was up to Scott to keep control of the brainstorming session... and admittedly, ignoring Tom completely probably wasn't the best idea.

and it's going to be a throwdown with Joan and Annie. Obviously Joan is the be all know all queen of everything and Annie is the peon.
I agree Athena is going to implode at some point, but I respectfully disagree with your character assessment. Joan Rivers DOES know a lot - she's been an entertainer for like, fifty years; she does have writing experience; she has her own line of jewelry (and maybe some clothing, or skin care?). As a champion poker player, yes, Annie Duke is (or should be) good at 'reading' people, even signals they don't know they're giving - but watching her in the first two shows, it seems she NEEDS to be the boss of everything - whether she knows anything about it or not. "No, you can't sell the whole tray of cupcakes; what if we get more customers in the last seven minutes and don't have anything to sell them?"; "I want [demand] to write the script".

No no no! That wasn't Brandie! It was Natalie!!!!

I was happy that Scott Hamilton got fired because I thought he was a complete ***. I really like him, usually, but he did not use Tom in a way that played to his talents. In fact, he didnt use him at all! Tom Green is a very intelligent man, behind all the goofball antics. Yes, he is annoying, however, he was also making very valid points and trying to contribute. Scott completely shut him down and shut him out of the creative process.

Tom entertains people for a living. He writes scripts for a living. To not even allow him to contribute to that was stupid. (The girls did the same thing to Joan Rivers...just didn't make any sense!).

Ultimately what did Scott in was his intense dislike for Tom. He immediately discounted anything Tom had to say, even the suggestions and ideas with merit. If it came out of Tom's mouth, Scott didn't want to hear it. Tom was very vocal about the name, and even sat at the computer reading of "Z" names, but the other 3 completely ignored him. If Scott had done what Tom said about the name, they might have won the challenge (or Tom might have gone home instead of Scott).

I completely agree with everything you said. :thumbsup2

And the most inappropriate line of the night... when ugh Donald said he tried to hit on Brande...:scared:

I'm sure his lovely bride was thrilled to hear that!! :lmao:

Well, with any luck - he did it between wives. Yeah, I know, fat chance. Brandie's about the same age as Ivanka. Eewwwwwwwww.

Tom had some good ideas and valid points. He just does not know how to work with people to get his points across. Throughout the show I kept yelling at Scott, begging him not to use the "E" name. I guess he did not hear me.:lmao: I knew that stupid name would be the end of Scott. I actually think their presentation was better, but how could Zappos choose a character named "E"?

Melissa Rivers totally gets on my nerves- even more than poker chick.

I liked Melissa - until she claimed credit for Claudia's ideas. She put herself on some of the other team members' "lists"; she needs to be careful. And don't forget it's a competition - push comes to shove, I wouldn't be surprised if she and her mom throw each other under the bus.

Tom Green did seem annoying, however once they said the biggest problem was the name "EEE" then Scott had to go! I mean, Tom literally went onto a baby names website and was calling out suggestions for Z names but the others ignored him. The dopey name was totally Scott's fault.

There's a few years between them. Brande was born in 74....Ivanka was born in 81.

So, Donald back pedaling and saying he tried to pick her up before he was Trump is a total lie! Brande was 18 in 1992, and I may be wrong, but Trump was Trump well before the early nineties.

He was Trump in NY when I lived there and I left NY in 1987... more EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!:scared:

I thought it was funny when she said that she didn't remember.

I thought it was funny when she said that she didn't remember.

I actually thought she looked embarassed  because she immediately said "Oh really, when was that?" (something along those lines) She looked as though she was turning red....like thinking to herself (this is a tad bit inappropriate)

I know Scott was going home when the name he picked was EE...

It wasn't the show I thought was going to be on though. I thought it showed previews that looked like they were cleaning hotel rooms or something or was that just a preview for the season.:confused3 Joan was scrubbing toilets and Denis was carrying a small fridge.
