The Celebrity Apprentice 2

kaytieeldr, your third choice seems to be a friend of Trump's. I think he will stay around for that reason until he reeeeeealy screws up. Also, he adds that unpredictable quality to the show, the same as Joan, but not in a Tom Green way, who seems like he has ADHD.

Yick. Understandable, but yick (who stayed/who got fired - NOT Imzadi's response to me!).

And on a slightly different note: Next week's show is one hour long, starting at 10.

I was disappointed too, with the result. If that person didn't make such a miscalculation, I think it would have gone the other way. :upsidedow

Psst! We were trying not to make tonight's results obvious until after the show aired on the west coast :)

Or just post all (or almost all) in white ;) like I did with my prediction for who would be going into the boardroom, while the show was still on :teeth:

But thanks for your consideration, and thanks for not being upset!

Okay - Could someone please tell me what happened at the end? I taped the whole thing and got to the final boardroom scene and my DVR ran out after 2:04 hrs ! I don't know who got fired!! It was Scott Hamilton, Herschel Walker, and Tom Green in the boardroom - that's all I saw, then nothing!!!
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did it run overtime?

I fell asleep before the last hour and have no DVR. Hoping someone will post the results soon!

Yeah, it's long enough after the show :) By the way, the first episode ran again this past Saturday on NBC; maybe last night's ep will air again?

Anyway - after Herschel stood up for Scott, Donald sent him back to the suite. He really shouldn't have been there; Scott did only bring him in for defense.

Tom said a lot of stuff about having great ideas and Scott not listening to him; Scott said a lot of stuff about Tom being distracting, not shutting up, etc.

Ultimately, as the Zappos guy pointed out - the men didn't use the "Z" or any indication that their character could be related to Zappos - so Scott got fired.

On an opinion note - I still feel Annie Duke can't leave soon enough; Melissa Rivers is a little attention-grabbing twit; and could Natalie have been any less tactful? (paraphrasing) "Natalie, would you be comfortable wearing that costume on the golf course?" "I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it in the hallway". Interesting...

Thanks for the update. Sorry to see Scott go - I kind of liked him, at least better than Tom Green! I'm hoping that the episode will repeat on Saturday so I can watch the last hour.

I'm really kind of shocked how Clint Black is being portrayed he has always came across as a super nice guy:confused3 :confused3

I can't believe Melissa tried to steal the credit of Claudia's idea what was up with that.

Dennis seems worthless. It looks like on next week show he is MIA

I'm really shocked by Jesse James, he has really steped up

I like Jesse James so I am hoping that he stays around for a while. Dennis can't go soon enough - just looking at the facial piercings makes my face hurt. And I just don't like him.

I do agree that Clint Black just isn't what I expected.

So I had to go to bed after the first hour or so and didn't see the ending. Did Claudia ever speak up about Melissa taking credit for her ideas?

Khloe Kardashian spoke up for her. Then Claudia did say, yes, she came up with the idea, but felt at the time it was more about working as a team player, so she didn't say anything.

Khloe's charity won $20,000.

I think they'll keep Jessie around a while. Maybe he will get a visit from his wife - Sandra Bullock.

I was happy that Scott Hamilton got fired because I thought he was a complete ***. I really like him, usually, but he did not use Tom in a way that played to his talents. In fact, he didnt use him at all! Tom Green is a very intelligent man, behind all the goofball antics. Yes, he is annoying, however, he was also making very valid points and trying to contribute. Scott completely shut him down and shut him out of the creative process.

Tom entertains people for a living. He writes scripts for a living. To not even allow him to contribute to that was stupid. (The girls did the same thing to Joan Rivers...just didn't make any sense!).

Ultimately what did Scott in was his intense dislike for Tom. He immediately discounted anything Tom had to say, even the suggestions and ideas with merit. If it came out of Tom's mouth, Scott didn't want to hear it. Tom was very vocal about the name, and even sat at the computer reading of "Z" names, but the other 3 completely ignored him. If Scott had done what Tom said about the name, they might have won the challenge (or Tom might have gone home instead of Scott).

I was so glad that Khloe spoke up about Claudia coming up with the idea after Melissas said it was her. Melissa kept trying to take the credit and Claudia was being to nice about it.

I just checked TVguide.com and it is showing a repeat of the episode for Saturday night. So those of us who missed it will get a second chance!

My husband and I both are watching this show. We aren't big into these kind of shows but it's been very entertaining. I think the smartest person on the men's team is Brian McKnight. I haven't seen him open his mouth or even contribute much but I guess he is a worker bee.

I'm waiting for the women's team to implode. It will soon. We see the guys bicker but women are going to blow up soon with all these strong personalities. Missy and Joan are going to cause issue with their "I'm so special attitude" and it's going to be a throwdown with Joan and Annie. Obviously Joan is the be all know all queen of everything and Annie is the peon.

I think Jesse James is one of the best players there and my favorite girl is Brandie. She seems to be able to lead and to follow.

ETA: I thought Scott deserved to go. He would have had a chance to stay if he had brought Clint with him into the boardroom but he was hellbent on Tom and brought Herschel as his backup.

I don't think so. It was all decided on him picking "E" over "Z". They almost didn't even need a Boardroom segment because of that. :sad2:
