I found the instructions for this cake on the internet somewhere...

The pictures are not all that great, but all it is are two 9" round layers of a cake, each cut in half and "iced together" with the round side on bottom and leaving the "flat" part on top as a deck. I iced the whole thing with chocolate and embellished it with Twix bars as cannons, Piroulines as deck railings, Hershey's Nuggets for treasure, two Peanut Butter Logs as the plank, and of course LEGO pirates. The cannons sticking out on the sides of the ship are Chocolate Piroulines cut in half with candles stuck very carefully into the chocolate. The masts are made from parchment paper on wooden skewers. We lit all the cannons and sang Happy Birthday (this was two years ago.) It was the biggest hit with everyone!

I like the current pins they have now, but back in the day these are the type of pins I would collect . I still think they're fun, recently bought a button/pin making kit, and made & wore these on my May Disneyland trip. I have a few more image ideas in mind, will at least give the person lined up behind me something to do . I did have a little boy ask to pin trade with me . The pins measure: 2 1/4 inches.

Okay, so this requires a little explanation. My friend and I were talking at work about errant theology including baptismal regeneration. We both came out in defense of the Bible (ie. salvation is by grace through faith ala Eph. 2:8-9) and our other friend who belongs to the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) brought up links on the LCMS website that stated that salvation is secured at baptism. For reference they are paedobaptist (baptize babies) which means that they believe that their children are saved immediately upon baptism. If that's the case, then, we thought, why not get a pastor, a crop duster full of holy water, and a PA system and baptize the world!

There you go - more information than you wanted, and three hours of my life that I'll never get back. On the plus side, if I need a logo that looks just like that (minus the text), I'll have it available!
