"The Campaign" with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis

Just saw "The Campaign" tonight and everyone thought it was very funny. The theater was packed. I was a little surprised because I had read so-so reviews but I think it was much funnier than the reviewers seemed to think.

One warning - the movie is R rated and deserves that rating. There were several families who brought what looked like middle school aged children and I think that the movie was a little too much for that age.

Saw it Monday in a sneak preview. In our version, Ferrell was shot with a rifle instead of a crossbow (as shown in the ads). Very crude, but quite funny - especially the first half.

Just back from seeing it. I thought it was Will Ferrell's best movie since Anchorman. And Zach Galifianakis makes any movie better. My favorite scenes... the dinner confessions and the snake bite scene.

The Temptations dance move during The Lord's Prayer cracked me up. I admit to smiling when we recited that part in church this morning.

I took two 15 year old boys. We all thought it was funny, especially the dinner table seen.

I thought the ads for this movie made it look stupid. I'm surprised this thread isn't panning it all ways to Tuesday.
