Did Disney Parks change up their phone system where you can no longer make payments on a resort reservation without talking to a cast member? At the end of last year, I was able to call in and the phone system would ask for my confirmation number, the amount to pay, and my credit card information. It took a couple of minutes and done. Now dialing the same number, 407-939-5277, I can't seem to find an option to do the payment other than have to wait for a cast member to answer the phone.

I noticed this as well when I called last month to make a payment. But the few times I’ve called since then to make payments, I’ve not had to wait on hold at all.

The automated payment system is only for Packages. Do you currently have a Package or a Room Only (RO) reservation.

I was able to do hotel only reservation payments over the phone last year. We never book a package because we have AP's. If I remember correctly, when you do book a package, you can do the payments online in MDE, so no real need to call in. All good. Talked to a super nice CM today and he processed my payment for me.

Ridiculous that you still cant make payments online for your reservations. What in the world could be the reasoning behind this?

I agree I really don’t like showing up at check in with a bunch of gift cards. I know they can be combined but I don’t do that. I have paid with multiple gift cards when I’ve had BB reservations and I just do a few at a time and arrive with my stay fully paid.

The phone number for annual passholders has an automated payment system. I've made payments for our room only reservations using that phone number. But it sometimes glitches and you end up talking to a CM. It is convenient. :)
