Auditioning next month for a top-of-the-line, highly competitive musical theatre school! Who knows? Maybe you'll see me on Broadway one day

I thought you dropped a "1" until I saw the date of this post.![]()

I'm going to see Mary Poppins on the 27th! I'm actually really excited (I was never really that into the movie). A couple of my friends saw it on broadway a few years ago and they said it was awesome. I just can't wait to see how they stage it.
A friend of mine is the accompanist for the tour. If you see a short-ish, baldish guy with a friendly smile and a mustache playing piano, say hi to Chip![]()

Does high school count?
Our 15 year old DS is in his school production of "Bye Bye Birdie" in a few weeks, so we will see that too!
I saw Rock of Ages a couple of weeks ago, on tour. I was pleasantly surprisedMy friend had wanted me to go with her and I said yes but jukebox musicals are not my thing at all. I also tend to like shows that include people dying. LOL
It was a really fun show, though, and even though the cast has been doing it for a while now, it seemed both fresh and genuine.
