The Tobacco Road Marathon sounds interesting.
Will there be adequate rest room facilities at the Start/Finish and along the course?
Yes, there will be port-a-potties at the Starts, the Finish and about every 2-3 miles along the course.
Is there a Post Race Party?
Yes!
Jodi - I think this is all we need to know about Tobacco Road...
Jodi - A 50-miler in April? There is one right here. It's pretty (O.K. really) hilly but could be fun. If you are interested, I'll do it too! http://www.vhtrc.org/brr/
Speaking of Beirgarten after the marathon - we need to make an ADR! I think Colleen may have volunteered to do that . . .
Lou -One big difference is that The Nicotine Addiction Marathon should be really flat. Charlottesville, I promise not!Agreed...Tobacco Road is interesting. That and Charlottesville seem pretty similar. Small races in southern small town settings. I'm interested in either race. Charlottesville might rank a little higher because it's closer and drivable.
Hello bots:
I'm still feeling pretty sick, but I'm back at work today. Unless a miracle occurs, I'm probably not going to do the Richmond marathon this saturday. I might still do the half, but I'm not that excited about running a slowish half.
Safe travels to Richmond Mikathy and Mindy! Good luck to all of you who decide to run!!We will be cheering you on from here
