The birthday girl and 1st timer- My trip report (edited w/ photopass pix)

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip, and I'm glad your sister wasn't sick for too long.

My DD5 was looking at your sister's lanyard and said "ooh.. I'd like one of those." Little does she know I purchased one from EBay and have it stashed in the cupboard for our trip.

Are you going to let her pin trade? I bought both kids two pins to start with and they loved trading pins with CMs. It's such a fun hobby but I hear it gets expensive.

I haven't done a lot of reading about it yet, and it's on my list of things to do. I'm sure she will like to do it - we've got a lot of pins from the 2000 Olympics that were held in Sydney (our town) and she admires them a lot. So Disney pin trading would be fun too.

I have read that there are counterfit pins around on Ebay, and while normally I don't have a prob EBaying if it's me that get stung, well, that's my problem. But I don't want it to happen to DD. I just don't know where to start purchasing, and Disney Shop online is blocked to Australia.

Thank you for such a great trip report. I loved the pictures and your sister and nephew looke like they had a great time. I can't wait for you next trip so we can hear all about it too. Please take lots of pictures on that trip also.

Thanks again for sharing.

Kay

I enjoyed reading your TR. It makes even more excited for my upcoming trip in April.

I can PM you the name of the gal I used on Ebay to purchase my pins from. They were authentic ones and she has great feedback.

Thanks for reading, Kay. I will definitely be taking tons of pictures on my next trip, I just got an awesome camera so I can't wait to test it out. :cool1:

You seem like a great sister and aunt and can't wait for your next trip report!!

Can I also say that I am very impressed that at 21 you can afford to take your sister/nephew (and brothers) and that you would choose to do that rather than spend your money on a lot of the nonsense 21 year olds seem to engage in these days! Your Mom must be very proud of you . . . .

I'm lucky I have a nice paying job and got an awesome tax refund or this trip wouldn't of happened. I'd rather spend my money doing things for my family, that's the best feeling to me.

Everyone always tells me I don't act like a normal 21 year old, I just don't feel the need to do all that crazy stuff my friends do...I'd rather go to DL :lmao:

LOL--I agree--this 50-year old would also prefer to go to DL than do anything else.

Just don't forget to have fun whatever you do!

I got my photopass cd back a month ago but I've been real busy so didn't get a chance to post them....but here are a few of my favorites.

I normally don't like how I look in pictures, but this one is one I actually like.

Anyways just thought I'd give who read my TR the final conclusion....I hope to have another TR soon ( my May trip got canceled :sad2: ), so now I'm looking at either September or December.

Love the pictures. Was the photopass cd worth the money? I am thinking about doing this for our June trip.

I think it's worth it but I was in a photopass share so I only paid like 20 dollars. It's nice to be able to be in some of the pictures.
