Via Napoli Pronunciation

Hi DIS friends,

So I learned today that there are two pronunciations of Via Napoli in EPCOT. Is it "vee-ah na-poh-lee" (which is how I have ALWAYS said it but apparently there is another way.... ) or do you say "vee-ah nap-ohlee," which I find sorta weird...would love to hear your thoughts! Also want to make sure I am saying it correctly.

I have always pronounced it the way you do….but I have no idea if that’s right

I also pronounce it your way, but every vlog I watch pronounces it the other way, so I’m pretty sure we’re pronouncing it wrong. lol.

That’s okay. I’m not going to stop.
I just recently figured out how to pronounce Chick- Fil -A.
I always thought it was Chick - Fill - Ah.

Ok so hold on...how do we know the vloggers are right though? I'd love to hear from a cast member who can confirm YES or NO. Until then, I will continue to pronounce it incorrectly. Old habits diehard, I guess....

The accent of Napoli is on the first syllable. Sorry! I won’t judge you if you pronounce it the other way, though.

I’m now going to call it Chick Fil Ahhhhhhhhhh Has a very relaxing ring to it.
