I've long thought I should write a book about the various 'facilities' found round the 'World'. (According to my husband I've hit them all! :goodvibes)Readers have to agree that some are exceptional and others sub-Disney standard. Nice one...behind the Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios. REALLY bad...the ones at Moroco and Germany. Don't they ever clean them? The nicest I've ever seen are the ones we can't get to...adjacent to the old Millenium Village building. What a waste of prime 'br' real estate! What are your worst/best?

I can think of two that are always so crowded you don't have a chance of getting in: the one in Tomorrowland by Mickey's Startraders, and the one in the American Adventure Pavilion, especially during Candlelight Processional or after the attraction has let out.

The best bathrooms are, in MK, the one in the "tunnel" in between Frontierland and Adventureland and pretty much all AK bathrooms are cool because they're sort of themed.

The Best: The one that is close

The Worst: One that is far.

Could not agree to that any more than I do!!

I meant to quote you and forgot....sorry!!!

I have never even thought about this.I have never been in a horrible public restroom in Disney before lol. They are always clean.

I've got that bathroom site bookmarked. I love visiting that site. It's strange but seeing those bathroom pics just make me feel closer to Disney. I see them and remember actually being there which helps me with Disney withdrawal.

DIS'er, Cass, has a Disney site, one section devoted to WDW restrooms. http://www.cassworld.ca/index.htm, in the Picture section. Check out the other sections there, she and her hubby have some really super live travelogs from WDW, and has had several super threads here on the theme park board in the past. :thumbsup2

I rarely have problems with restrooms at WDW. However, the people who walk out of the stall without flushing drive me nuts. What's with that? If the auto flush doesn't work, there's always an override button! Then... people won't go in there afterwards. Ick factor I guess. I just go in, flush and move on. Other than that, I've also been to just about every bathroom there!

I don't know of any bad ones off hand, but I did walk into the U.K. men's room a couple of trips ago and happened upon some sushi that didn't agree with someone.

..the ones at Moroco and Germany. Don't they ever clean them?

That's funny--I've always found the bathroom in Morocco to be spotless on our trips. DH laughed at me when I told him, "The bathrooms in Morocco are the best!" :rotfl2: I do agree with you about Germany, though.

I thought the ones in Japan were kind of substandard -- cramped, dark, no autoflush or autofaucet. Also, the ones that are shared by Hollywood & Vine and 50s Prime Time are ALWAYS crowded, with a long line.

(Small bladder here...these things are important to me.)

My favorite restroom is the women's restroom upstairs at Columbia Harbor House. It's got a lot of dark wood and blue stalls and sinks. It's very small, but very quaint.

So far all bathrooms seemed alright to me. But in December the one that was the dirtiest was at Epcot, the American Pavillion. Kind of digusting at that time.

There is one in Epcot by the McDonalds near Canada that only has 2 stalls in it and there is always a huge line.

We try to just use our resort room bathroom - but do love the decor of the bathroom (and cleanlyness) of the Cindy Caslte restaurant bathroom and the bathrooms just outside 1900 Park Fair in the GF.

I agree 100%. I hate having to go to public restrooms for anything other than a quick pass through. No matter where you go, they are always disgusting.

BUT, Disney bathrooms, in parks, hotel, or eateries are always just as clean as most homes i go to.

This is just another reason why disney is 100x a cut aboe any other theme opark.

Maybe we should collaborate on that book ;)

Actually, that's why I created my bathroom page. There used to be a website that had ratings of the bathrooms at WDW but then they took the site down. I used to like reading it because with my small bladder I spent a lot of time in those bathrooms and plus it was DISNEY :thumbsup2 I don't get to WDW too often and need my WDW fix every now and then!

As a bonus:
Here's a link to a FAN SITE that features
PHOTOS of all the WDW RESTROOM Entrances.

Hey, does WDW offer chances for a DIVERSITY of interests, or what?

Thanks guys for posting my link :goodvibes
Dan, you are too kind hun!

This website cracks me up. Anyone who takes the time to create a website dedicated to this is okay in my book!:lmao:

Well, it's not a whole site, just a page :rolleyes1

And I will have you know, I spent 11 days at Disney and 7 days on a Disney cruise in October and I didn't take a single bathroom photo :lmao: :rolleyes1

I love a lot of the resort bathrooms, some of them are very unique. I hate all of the ones with only a few stalls in them. With WDW crowds, the bigger the better ::yes::
