The best, the worst...Bathrooms of the World!

My FAVORITE bathroom at WDW is on the main level of the Contemporary. My reason is a little silly but, Last time I was at the world I was still fighting Morning Sickness and they had fully closed bathrooms. So I could go about my business without grossing out other partons. I was so worried that someone would ask me what I had ate that made me sick.... ( I SWARE I cleaned up after myself too..:) )

For the worst... If you head to the building that used to hold the skyway in Tomorrowland the bathrooms in there are SO OLD! The paint is pealing, the tiles are cracked and some of the toilets seem like they could fall off the wall at any minute. They are always clean, but I think they could use a little bit of that Disney Magic!:wizard:

Good bathroom has accessible handicapped stalls that are large enough to fit my PWC in and close the door easily.
Worst ones are by Guest Services in MK and Liberty Tree Tavern. Upstairs and not accessible at all for guests in wheelchairs. To use the restroom I have to leave the restarant and go to the one between Adventureland and Frontierland or the one past Columbia Harbor House in Fantasyland.

The ones that are right past Belle's Storytime, near Enchanted Grove always seem almost deserted. The ones near POTC used to be good, I don't know how they are now since i haven't used them in awhile.

The ones that are near the Animation Tour at the Studios aren't bad.

This bad one is not in a park, but at a resort. Hope thats ok!

The on in the Grand Floridian by Cinderella's Gala Feast. It only has 3 stalls, and is usually full of moms trying to change their little princesses into their outfits. The last time we were there not only was the line out the door, but one of the stalls was out of order, if you get my drift.:scared: Such a pretty hotel and they let the bathroom get like that.

The best? The one behind Pinnochios in the Magic Kingdom. Always spotless, and always has someone in them keeping it that way.:thumbsup2

My favorite is one in Epcot, that nobody seems to know is there, and I think I prefer to keep it that way ;)

I concur about the Teppanyaki bathrooms. Ick! The Teppanyaki is our favorite counter service at the World but the bathrooms almost make me lose my appetite.

There is one in Epcot by the McDonalds near Canada that only has 2 stalls in it and there is always a huge line.

I walked in there once and then walked right out. It has to be up there in the top 5 worst. I was an ER nurse for 20+ years. Am I being too picky?? Seen lots of disgusting stuff during my career. My worst bathrooms are worse! An I agree that the one that USED to be in Japan was bad. How is it after refirb?

I keep thinking of more bathroom things...also love the one at Rafiki's Planet Watch. Love the 'poop' info on the inside of the doors.

And everytime I am in that restroom I am reminded of the person who gave birth and abandoned the baby in there.

I pretty much avoid that bathroom.

I hate any and all public bathrooms - I avoid them at all cost. Of course, sometimes you just have to go, and thankfully I've found most Disney bathrooms to be nice. However, the one in the Germany Pavillion was gross - dirty and very old!

The bathroom beside American Adventure is very bad-small and always crowded. Another bad one is on Hollywood Blvd at the Studios. I like the bathroom beside POTC. Pretty big and lots of stalls. On my last trip I used the bathroom off the lobby at Wilderness Lodge. It was so pretty with lots of wood and the one at GF is just beautiful, although, it makes me a little uncomfortable with the ladies standing right outside waiting for you to come out so they can clean the stall you just used. I have probably checked out every bathroom in the world also and I agree, the best one is the closest one when you gotta go.

I think my favorite Disney bathroom is the one upstairs in the private party area above the Coral Reef- that place was nice.

Dirtiest I've ever encountered (and nearly the worst I've seen ANYWHERE) is the one by the Tomorrowland Noodle place. Eek.. I've never seen it clean- and I once went in there to find the lights flickering, trash spread all over the floor, etc.. it was almost like a horror film.

Oh the other one that I found bad is the one by the stunt show - right after the show lets out. I never made it inside, but I felt for those who did. If they had just walked another 200feet there is another one that's almost always empty.

There is a fan website for Disneyland's bathrooms, it's called The Happiest Potties on Earth. It has the location of all bathrooms with statistics (automatic/manual flushers, faucet type, etc.) and also ratings for each. Plus trivia and other things. It hasn't been updated in years though, and now it seems to be a part of the Mouseplanet website.

I know it doesn't have anything to do with WDW, but it's intriguing nonetheless. People love their Disney potties, I guess.

There is a lovely one in the lobby of the Beach Club! I dried off in there after a downpour.
I also love the Riverside ones as they just remind me of being there! :goodvibes
I really dislike the Germany toilets, disgusting!

THe bathrooms next to Hoop Dee Doo at Fort Wilderness ar the nicest I've ever been in. Large, clean and themed.

I have to agree with the OP. I've been to the bathrooms at Morocco twice and it's been dirty both times. It's the only bathroom at WDW I've ever seen that wasn't clean. The second trip it was so bad that if I hadn't really had to go I wouldn't have used it.

I find this thread fascinating, especially because I just did the Disney College Program in custodial at the Magic Kingdom. One of the things we had to do, of course was clean those restrooms. So it's interesting to me which restrooms get praise and which ones don't. My personal favorites at the Magic Kingdom are the POTC one and the one between Frontierland and Adventureland. I loved the music in POTC and I loved trying to keep up with the other one, pointing out open stalls to people in line. I do have some that I dislike, but only because they were busy and got dirty very very quickly, which made it hard to keep up sometimes. It is amazing to me how quickly a restroom can get dirty.
