The Bachelor 17 Sean Lowe NO SPOILERS

Did anyone else feel like they needed a barf-bucket at the little shower scene before the end credits. I kept wondering when the x-rated movie musc was going to start.....:scared:

.....I felt like I needed a shower after that....and an extra-strength loofah....:crazy2:

I am not seeing emotional immaturity in Sean at all. I think he is the most level headed, moral Bachelor we've seen.

Hey, Emer and Imzadi, I will chime in on the maturity thing.

Yes, it has been just SO obvious, going all the way back to when Sean was first on The Bachelorette, that he is immature, and a committment-phobe.

Wasn't HE the one, like the number 4 girl that went home, who got sent home after making it all the way to the final four, because he was unable to open up and verbalize any deeper feelings or commitment... Watching that, in reverse, was like de-ja-vu.

And, while he does seem to be a lot more mature now, and more level-headed... I really noticed that.. So I am giving him some credit... I think it is safe to say that the immature (12 year old) committment-phobe is still inside there.

Honestly, When you look at the fact that Wedding Dress Girl, who is a virtual 12 year old, is still in there, going into the top two... And he seems to be happy with her.... shoving cupcake frosting up each other's noses. (EWWWW!!!! C'MON!!!)

Well, I think that says a lot.
That inner-child in him... that gets off on pranks, etc..
That could be the factor that wins out in the end.

I am thinking that, if, IF, he does choose one... It could be the wedding dress, cupcake, girl.

PS: I am thinking that the note might be from Desiree....
They left that open, like there was no closure... unfinished business...

Sean did say last night that, even considering the brother, he felt that his relationship with Des just wasn't what it was with the other girls... But, in all seriousness... that line did sound VERY scripted.

I agree about the whole shower thing. I found it more uncomfortable than sexy. I'm not sure whose idea that was though--his or the producers. In either case, ICK!

I agree - it was bad enough when they were starting each show with him working out shirtless... but this was really over the top! And I'm no prude, I just think it's tasteless and not at all sexy! ha ha

.....I agree too.....we GET it - he has abs and bi-ceps....enough already, move on.

Reading all of these comments about the shower...
I am going to go out on a huge limb here and say something...

You know, men are just so visually oriented... A woman in the shower... even not-so-overly attractive one... and men would be just slobbering all over themselves!!!!

Women, well, I just don't think most are that simple and 'primal'.
I don't think a lot of people, especially men, really get that....
Had to have been some male editers/producers in on that whole sequence.

Now, if there were any gay men watching!!!!
Hahahahaha!!!!!

...how about the end of last night's show when they showed him SHOWERING??!?!!!?!? Really? Was that necessary? Pul-LEASE.....

And, that shower scene...
OMG!!!!
I was like WTH....

EWWWWWW!!!!!

We just needed that music from Psycho!!!

The whole shower scene is EXACTLY an example of why I think Sean is there for his own SELF promotion, to get out of going back to obscurity as an insurance salesman, and not REALLY there to find a WIFE/MATE. That shower scene was done to advertize his pecs & abs, hoping to land him a gig as a fitness model, or to jump start his porn career. :crazy2: :sad2: The fact that none of us found it sexy but skivvy says a LOT!!!

Whether it was his idea or some producer(s), he went along with it! Do you think Jef would have??? Don't you think one of the other Bachelors would have broke down in laughter and embarrassment halfway through and they would have ended up showing that? But Sean was determined to make it work as thoughts of a new life as some reality star or model beyond the show was his ULTIMATE goal. The guy doesn't have much in the I.Q. department, so naturally he's going to go with the idea to showcase his looks. :sad2: He is LUCKY that Emily plucked him out of obscurity. He is determined to make the most of it.

NOW I know who Lesley reminds me of!!! :yay:

So msn.com is reporting that Chris Harrison has named Des as the frontrunner for the Bachelorette. She seems really heartbroken so who knows how that will go.

Has there EVER been an original Bachelorette, or have they all been recycled from The Bachelor??

I think they've all been recycled. I wonder if no one else wanted to do the show?

That reminds me. . . So there isn't going to be a "WOMEN Tell All," show this season? :confused3 I thought ABC had advertised the "Sean Tells All," show as an extra episode, airing on Tues nite, to fit it into the season. But, last nite's previews made it look like there isn't going to be a "WOMEN Tell All," show or an episode where the gals meet Sean's parents. :confused3

I wonder if the show lost so much funding that they couldn't fly all the girls out and put them up in hotels to do a "WOMEN Tell All," show? :confused3 Or after the Tierra incident, not enough of the main girls wanted to show up? Like would Robin, (the black gal who got into the hours long fight with Tierra,) only have shown up if she could have outed Tierra as being the hired actress for the show? So she's off the list. :scratchin

Why is Chris advertising that Des is a frontrunner? Are the producers trying to gauge reaction of the viewers? It's not like ANY of the final 4 were winners in any way to keep all of us watching through a whole season. I see a very abbreviated season next time around if that happens. Where the Bachelorette gets rid of several guys each week and they only have 8(?) episodes instead of their normal amount of episodes.

I can't think of a single one who hadn't been on the show previously.:confused3

My guess is that it's both. The show has really changed as far as the luxuries go. "Hey girls, we're heading to the most romantic place ever....Montana."

Tierra creates too much anger I think for the women to want to commit to the Women Tell All episode. Even Sean sounds pretty annoyed with her now so maybe HE doesn't want to do the Women Tell All either. Or maybe he's afraid Des and her brother will be waiting for him backstage...:crazy2:

I hope Des is not a frontrunner! She's so insecure and if she had a room full of men, I predict major crying episodes. Plus, what dude is going to want to join THAT family?? Her brother is rude, disgusting and confrontational. Des should've put him in his place and told him to leave or not let him take Sean off alone. Stupid mistake and it cost her the most indecisive rose ever!:upsidedow

I can't imagine that the Women Tell All episode is not required by their contract. I know in the past a few have been no shows but I bet they lost out on signifigant cash by doing that.

I believe it was just recently filmed and is being aired on March 4th. Has anyone heard the news that Sean is probably going to be on DWTS?

They probably were contracted, but when they called the girls probably too many said they would ream out Tierra, and called her on being a hired actress. So the producers changed plans.

As for Sean pretending that he didn't know Tierra was causing so much trouble with the other girls, his Tell All episode even SHOWED a clip where he was walking in the background, looking back at them with a cocked eyebrow, when Tierra & Robin were having that HOURS long fight. So he KNEW. :sad2:

But, of course, we all know, everything that happens on a Reality TV show, how it is edited, and what they tell us happened and what they DENY, (that Tierra isn't a hired actress and that Sean didn't know she was causing trouble,) all the truth. :rolleyes1 ;)

Wow, Sean just made Lindsay eat a grasshopper in Thailand, to see if she'd be a good sport. How mature.

Listening to Sean in the fantasy suite with Lindsay..."you COULD be my wife", "you COULD be my best friend". What wonderful lukewarm sentiments.:lmao: "I MIGHT love you but I won't know for sure until I go into the fantasy suite with Ashlee and Catherine".

Nothing like applying the pressure. Although, a girl who'd eat a bug when she looked like she'd gag, is a pretty sure thing in the Fantasy Suite, I bet. :rolleyes1
