I think it was a test and Randell just passed it. Trump had been saying he wasn't sure if Randell was tough enough, so he threw him in a horrible position to see how he'd handle it and I think in Trump's world he passed. Because in Randells position, Trump would've done the exact same thing, he didn't get to where he is today by playing Mr. Nice Guy and sharing the spotlight.

I do think it was a pretty crappy thing for Trump to do though, Randell was so happy celebrating and then BAM he puts him in that position, sorta takes away from his win. Not sure what I would've done.

I'm sure Rebecca will do just fine, she's amazing and at only 23 it's just mind boggling. She'll be a huge success at whatever she chooses to do.

Just a little disclaimer....these are just my thoughts and opinions, I'm not looking to get into a heated debate.

I guess that's where I'm weird. I know exactly what I would have done. If I had spent episodes talking about how much I admired and respected someone, how good a job they've done...I wouldn't have thought twice about saying hell yeah!! hire them too!! the more the merrier!!

but then, I'd never go on a reality show!

I really thought Trump was planning on hiring them both all along. They had the promos for 'a big twist.' Once they each chose which job they wanted he smiled and said that made it easy (I thought that meant because if he hired them both they wouldn't have to fight over one job.) Then he throws it all into Randal's hands. I really think Trump looked surprised that Randal said no. Did anyone Tivo? Let me know what his face did because I was too much in shock to remember

If Trump reallyw anted to hire them both he would have. It sticks that he made it out so that Randall is the bad guy though.

Yes, Trump was truly shocked in my opinion. I agree with you that he was planning all along to hire them both in the different jobs. Now Trump may lose Rebecca as I'm sure she is going to be swamped with offers that may be much better than with Trump Organizations.

Probably coached by a producer. I listen to Alexis Stewart's show on Sirius and she was GUSHING all over Marcella. You wouldn't know it from teh Marth Stewart Apprentice how much they adored her. Alexis kept hinting alot that the producers coach them to do this or that to the candidates.
