My sister is going up to Niagara for THanksgiving. Is that near Placid? Sounds like a really nice drive and time away from all the stress!
You Cheeky Monkey!!!!![]()
Aw, I want to plunder the danish (the baked good, not the country).
Hey All,
It's been a hiney-whipping day with all kinds of busy-ness and a side of drama thrown in. Probably a lot like most of your days. I really hope I can be "here" a bit more tomorrow, but no promises.
YES, the West Coast Meet is looking more promising (part of that aforementioned drama), and I hope to get back to you all very soon about that. Meanwhile, I'm going to go screw up my neck a bit more tonight on a crappy mattress (well, not literally, that'd be REALLY, REALLY gross!).
See you sometime tomorrow with replies and hellos!
Aloha, ladies! I lost internet access for five days when our router decided not to work anymore, so I'll be lurking until I catch up! Just wanted to say I am still here.![]()
That's right! He even saved (or just photographed) the stamps.
It's been a really great couple of years getting to know each of you, and sharing in your lives. It IS very cool!
Hi Liesa! I know what's coming, so![]()

It!s funny that they have descriptions in English at Frankfurt airport bakerys, I never noticed that, and no Butterkuchen?
Hi Liesa! What a strange combination of really bad fast food and caviar at the Kazakhstan airport - but I noticed that nearly every European airport has a "Caviar Hopuse" shop.I think it must be one of those things that rich business men bring back from their travels to their wifes.
Liessa I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment !!!!!! I am now wondering about my Bloodshot eye and getting on the plane to MCOThank goodness I have a doctors note !!!!

I stand corrected!

I think Liesa and I go back even farther than 1 year....
I thought there would be a few for sure.
There are a ton of great people on this thread. I wish I had the time to follow everybody's PTRs & TRs but I've been having a hard time following my subbed threads already. Not to mention, following this thread is like a full time job!

Oh Oh!another adventure? I hope the day didn't go as bad as it looks right now. I can't believe you left us hanging about the pastry! How will I get to sleep tonight?
Oh, and I'm excited that the planning of the West Coast meet is almost ready to commence!!!

You two have a Thanksgiving coming up on the 11th!
Is your Thanksgiving anything like an American Thanksgiving (a dumb question I'm sure)? What do y'all do for Thanksgiving and will Katharina come visit for the holiday? Katharina, how did the move go...or are you finished yet? [/COLOR
You just won major points in my world! That photo is hilarious! Good one!

Extra bonus points for me!!
We use that picture in the Dads club quite a bit. Probably because we talk about greasy food a lot.

Good Morning Liesa! I hope today will be less stressful and less dramatic for you!
Hi Camille, that's very sweet of you to think of us!But our Thanksgiving is always the first Sunday in October, so it was last Sunday.
It is much less of a family holiday than the American Thanksgiving. It is only celebrated in church as a way to say thanks for the plentiful harvest and besides a special service in church and an altar decorated with fruit and vegetables, there isn't much happening.
In England we cal it Harvest Thanksgiving and it too is a Church holiday not a Big Holiday as here in the US!! I remember as a child taking a HUGE box of homegrown veggies to Church or school for the poor !!I was always soooo proud cuz my Dad had a huge Vegetable garden and my box was always the biggest!!!![]()
Look on the bright side. With all the kids you've had, at least it isn't a hiney-wiping day anymore! (well, except for the occasional personal one that is....)Hey All,

TK! Glad your back, how's the little peanut? Hope the computer stuff is fixed for good now.
