I was really hoping Temptress would have been good. I felt really bad for her. She seemed to have her family's well being on her shoulders.

I liked the first guy, the girl from Oregon and Brooke. There was also a young guy that I thought was good - they didn't show much of him - I think he was only 17.

The guy with the cloak was a little much!

My favourite was the first guy who lost all the weight and then Christi Lee Cook or whatever her name was.

Tonight was interesting.

Simon was human, Paula wasn't spacey, Randy was, well, Randy.

Simon was very sweet with Temptress, he surprised me. I loved how he was really trying to get Paula to be mean to that one guy.

That girl that flipped out was very scary, I would not want her to be my animals vet! and the Star Wars hair girl wasn't all that bad but she did have a slight chip on her shoulder.

I liked Temptress. She was so cute and sweet. I really wished she had done well. And the judges were so nice to her and her mom, I loved Simon's comment to her about animals.

I liked the guy who sang The Blues by Elton John, and Angela who had the cute little girl who had that disability, the blonde who had to sell her horse to audition, and the girl who sang Amazing Grace, and the guy who sang the Uncle Cracker song.

The freaky sparkle chick, the guy who waxed his chest in the Leia costume, and the creepy stalker guy who made the song for Paula were all hysterical.

Sooo, anybody catch any of the show, or was it all commercials for you too?

I don't know WHY they make people do things like go get waxed and come back, knowing good and well they aren't going to make it. The cloak guy was freaky, but that's still really mean.

The sparkly phsyco chick? Kinda scary. That's all I have to say.

I liked the FEW good auditions they showed, hopefully we'll get some more good ones tomorrow night.

SUBSCRIBING...Is this the official thread...as my usual standards...I love the girl who sold her horse and did cage fighting....My early favorite

All I've got to say is this year is already better than last year. OMG, we were on the floor with a couple of the auditions. Last year the really bad people weren't funny.... they were tragic.

I took some quick notes (when I could see through my tears of laughter ) so here ya go.

Joey, the guy who lost 200+ pounds was pretty good... thought he had a nice voice.

Melanie, the Taylor back up singer, was no Melinda Doolittle. An OK voice but nothing special.

Angela Martin who had the handicapped daughter was better than most.

Chrissy from Oregon (kick boxer) was exceptional. She sang Amazing Grace.

Chris, the thin black guy at the end of the show, was probably my favorite of the night. His voice really mooooooved me.

The last girl (Nanny) was OK.

Quote of the night: From Youka (sp?) , guy from Egypt I want to love her from the hair to the *******. I know the filter isn't going to let me put that word in.

At the time I thought the guy with the really deep voice who sang Go Down Moses would be the funniest audition of the night. Honestly, we were crying here. I'm cracking up as I'm typing this!

But then the stalker guy came on and made me sorry that I didn't tape the show. If I was Columbo, I'd Peter Falk you. I hope someone gets that up on YouTube.

So I thought it was a good start. Simon was mostly civil. Paula was demure and Randy was being Randy. I had no favorites. No one really stood out for me or was in any way different. Perhaps Star Wars girl had a point.

I almost wonder if freaky glitter girl went into it deciding that if she didn't make the cut she would flip out. Simon was not THAT rude and she was especially psycho.
maybe she was using it for and audition for when she gets into actressing ??

Overall I think that the people who made it through have more potential than last year already, so hopefully we are in for a more interesting season.
