Test Track

Does anyone have any info on the new and improved test track? I'm going this summer and cant wait to see the improvements just hoping somebody on here had some info/pics??

The changes are mostly cosmetic.

Instead of the old car manufacturer/testing grounds look, it now has a "Tron-like" look to it.

You can also design a car in the preshow and see how it performs on the track.

Note: the car design doesn't actually change the ride. The system just calculates the info from your design to gives it a rating based on how it WOULD perform in each segment.

You'll find plenty of info on the new Test Track, not sure how many people can comment on the improved part though .

The ride itself is exactly the same. The old theme has been removed, now it has a more futuristic design. You design a car in the queue and that car goes through the test with you. Your car is ranked against the other cars in your vehicle, but other than that, it doesn't do much. I'm sure if you check youtube you'll find some ride through videos you can watch to see for yourself.

Ultimately it's the same ride but less test and more glowing lights.

FWIW, we loved the new theming and the car design area. All 7 in out party agreed. The old TT was soooo dated.

Many here love the old TT, but to us, this was a HUUUUUGE, improvement. Hope you like it!

Definitely felt more modern, with a Tron like vibe.

Also no more GM its now sponsored by Chevrolet not that it matters much, it does seem to break down about as much as it did in the past
