ed, now that is talent. sunrise with flowers.
you are a keeper.

hey mic.

gotta leave for church soon. remember, i have your backs

Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope all the mommies had a great day!!

I spent the day in the ER. They couldn't figure much out, but their educated guess is that I had a cyst that ruptured.

At least I have lots of pain medicine.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day!!

Hope you all had a great Mother's Day!!

Ocm--sorry to hear that you are felling yucky. Hope you get feeling better soon!

mic--i had a strawberry shake...it was yummy! I really need to buckle down this week and get in gear.

mac-- you are a good mommy!

ks--i didn't get the the tanning salon either...i figured i would wait until wed. to do it because I won't be able to start until then anyway.

ed--you are da man!! flowers and sunrise:love:

gant--sorry your ds didn't win but maybe next time. You will have to take pictures of his prom.

tony--hope you had a good time with your friends.

bob--what did you guys do for mother's day?

We had a good day. woke up this morning with breakfast in bed!! Then the kids and I got ready and went to sunday school...only one more week left then they are done for the summer. We ended up going to the Henry Doorly Zoo today. A good time was had by all:)

See you all in the morning!

bob - DH is taking the week before Memorial Day off to finish his retaining wall project. He's throwing hints to run up to Erie for a day or so...he says to swim @ Presque Isle (i know his plan, just wants to check out the slots lol). I could be mistaken...as I recall the water is still very cold that time of year?

Ummm, yeah, it's really cold before Memorial Day. :scared: :scared: The earliest I used to go in was Mem Day weekend and even then, it was just in quickly and up on water skis or a kneeboard and then back in the boat. I wouldn't spend more than a couple minutes in the water until at least mid-June.

Morning all :)

bob--what did you guys do for mother's day?

We went to Mass in the morning with MIL, who watched the boys the night before so we could go to our last bowling night. Afterwards, we went to our usual breakfast place and then home. Nicole went with her Mom to the cemetary (yesterday would have been her Dad's 66th birthday :( ) and then we all went out for dinner. :)

Good morning all....had not time before leaving house to pop in

Hope any and all of our sickies are doing better today, lots of hugs and good wishes coming at you:hug:

My Mother's Day was quiet, we went out to see MIL, Aunt to drop off flowers etc. It was nice just to sit and chat. Otherwise it was uneventful.

I have another soap board that I'm pretty involved in, much like you people here, I think SO much of them, although not a chance to meet any of them personally yet (that is coming while we are away  ), but anyway, we found out that one of our posters who was only 37 years old passed away on Saturday. It made me so sad to get this news. It's amazing how you feel about internet friends, even if you have not met face to face, they still are friends and you share a common interest, again, just like you guys here. Everyone was taken quite by surprise with the news. SO...I would like to say how much all of you mean to me and give a cyber hug this morning, just because:grouphug:

So, Bob, how was the bowling finale? Bet you guys had fun.

Pam, a day at the zoo sounded fun and breakfast in bed...woohoo:banana:

I'm glad our Mother's here were treated so royally...cause ya know we all are Princesses at heart!princess:

Wow -- dead at 37? :( :( :(

Bowling went well, we had a great time. As usual, I had one of my best games on the last month when the scores don't count for anything. :rolleyes1 :headache: Bowled a 191 -- probably my highest score ever. :thumbsup2

quick check in...

youngest DS found his gram slumped in her chair early yesterday am; she was unresponsive. Even after shaking her all she could do was groan & hang her head. I ran to call 911 and in middle of call was told she snapped to & kicked all out of her quarters since she had to go to the bathroom.:confused3

Via ambulance she went to the ER, they've run lots of test so far; admitted her last night but; not sure what's going on. she seemed fine once we got to hospital, just a little shaky & slightly confused (which is normal for her almost 77).

Suspects are mini-stroke or fainting due to heart issues (doesn't have any history of either)...tried to call today, charge nurse MIA till afternoon.:rolleyes1Will post later when I know more, hope she comes home today, safe & sound....i'm very scared :sad1:

ocm - sorry to hear you're not feeling well again.

Oh Dear KS, hope all is well.......very scary indeed, keep us posted:hug:

Bob, yes, someone heard from this gal's SIL and she had flu like symptoms, was taken to the hospital and did not respond to meds...that is all we know right now. I believe she may have had health issues, but who knows. 37...that is so young to die...it is just very sad. Her greatest desire was to personally meet a particular soap actor, I so wish that had happened for her before this. Just so sad. We wouldn't have known, but her SIL found a bunch of AIM contacts on her computer, and sent out a bunch of IM's yesterday informing many of us of her passing. When I got home and saw the IM, I was like, gee, wonder what she is doing IM'ing me, and then I read it was actually her SIL and who had sent it out.

afternoon all!

finally got around to checking in today....it has been crazy here.

Mic--sorry to hear about your friend. Isn't it amazing how close that you become to people without meeting them?

bob--good job with the bowling score!:thumbsup2 How long has nicole's dad been gone? It is hard no matter if it has been 2 days or 20 years:hug:

ks--praying that your mom will be alright. it is scary for sure.

mac--hope everything is a bit better today on your end:hug:

ocm--how are you feeling today?

tony--how was your weekend?

ed--what did you end up doing this weekend?

gant--

How long has nicole's dad been gone? It is hard no matter if it has been 2 days or 20 years:hug:

It will be 5 years this 4th of July. :( We always go out of town somewhere for that weekend (last few years down to FL) just to get out of town. :(

thanks for the good wishes! They're going to keep mom @ least another night, they haven't found anything yet despite putting her thru the paces (which i'm told is good or bad however you want to look @ it). I prefer to think happy thoughts. At least the new practice of Drs made a point of calling me today; something the other never did.

mic - while I expect health issues with the elderly (you're never really prepared for it) - cannot imagine how the family of the 37 years old feels, so sad to hear.
