Morning all!

ocm--as far as camps go this summer: All three kids will go to bible school, and some classes that my sorority puts on which is called summer enrichment. They will each do two classes which are an hour long. Aubrey is going to do a cheerleading camp and a sign language class. Noah is going to do a pet a day class and gooey science. Trent is doing a baseball clinc (which my fil will be teaching) and a magic card class. Then noah will be going to a basketball camp the same time trent goes away to a church camp. Noah was going to go to a boy scout camp this year but it is the same time that we are going to Branson with my family so he chose to skip it this year. I think that is everything other than the swim lessons that they will take.

bob--sounds like you have it almost all set up. will you be off any this summer?

mic--that stinks that you can't wear capri's to work...i get to wear them to walmart

mac--hope you have a safe trip picking up your son!

ed--your house looks great! I agree with the door. I painted mine and love the look of it....we have grey with cranberry shutters so i painted my door cranberry as well.

ks--it would be hard for me to keep my mouth closed too. It's your son and you want the pictures. Did you get the pool pump?

tony--hope things are okay with you!

Right now, I don't have many plans. I'm off the Friday before Memorial Day for Cam's Kindergarten graduation and I'm taking the Monday before 4th of July (we already get the 3rd and 4th off) to go to Florida with my family.

Other than that, I may take a day off here or there, but with the 8 days I need to take off for Hawaii in November, I'm starting to max out on vacation days.

I am happy to say that i finally put my **** to work and have gotten a little sum sum done today!

I deep cleaned my family room, cleaned my kitchen, and cleaned the bathroom. I still have to mop my kitchen floor but didn't want to do that right before lunch and the kids were out in the back yard so i didn't figure it would be a good idea.
Now that I was in a cleaning mood i had to stop to feed the kids now it's gone...oh well....maybe again another day!

Sounds like all the little one's have a busy summer ahead of them, all those camps, classes and fun stuff...it all sounds fun for sure.

I agree with capri's, mine are all "nice" and I think I look fine in them, but he is on the "professional" kick, so again, whatever floats his boat

Hello all, OK it's not quite finished yet (the front door is going to be painted cranberry) and I just took the picture so its not in full sunlight but heres the paint job.

ETA : OK I'm looking at the picture its so muted you can't tell the color I'll take a better one later.

I was going to ask you earlier but got into a cleaning kick....on the left hand side of the picture it looks like corn stalks???? is there something you have been hiding from us?????

Its actually forsythia, I don't like it but it belongs to my next door neighbor.

I bought some seeds to plant this year, just to see what sprouts lol.

Planting instructions lost me when they referred to following normal pollination i'll leave that to the bees.

Morning Everyone

Hope you all are having a great day. I was out shopping with the kids last night. WE went to take Nico to get shoes and look at key start mowers. I cannot for the life of me get my mower to start. Lee started it twice last night to make sure there was nothing wrong with the mower itself. There isn't...it's me. GRRR..so, I have to see about getting a new one.

I never got to the grocery store or the teachers gift, so I need to skip the gym today and shop for those things.

appts this am for me, at the point where i need a dumpster to clean up my house (where does all the clutter come from?).

Lost another 4 pds on the diet , if i can only keep it off this weekend i'll be happy!

What's up for mother's day? Don't think any jewelry's coming my way this year, funds are tight lol; hoping for dinner @ Red Lobster.

I'm still alive and kicking folks. Just been away from the internet life for a bit. No test results yet, I still have a week to go on the biopsy. Still haven't scheduled the "other" tests they want me to do. I'll get to it soon I suppose.

I have an old friend and her son in town this weekend from NY and I am going to visit with them. Haven't seen them in over a year. I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend and a very Happy Mothers Day to the Moms here...

KS, got the SOS AWESOME on the 4 lbs. I'm still steady at the 4.5 mark.......I swear, it just SITS there and won't move.........grrr...but I'm
not giving up.....I was bad yesterday, I had 2 small fried chicken thighs for lunch...the guys buy that stuff and leave it sitting around in the lunch room....really only the skin was bad...but it was good

Not much planned for Mom's Day here, visit my MIL. DS said would I like to go out on Saturday to dinner, but I know what that will be like, every Mother in the county trying to eat out...LOL...so I suggested maybe a steak on the grill and he can cook

Tony, good to hear from you, have fun with your friends, and keep us posted on how things are going...

Afternoon all!

I didn't have time to hop on here this morning. Noah had his sport-o-rama at school today and Malarie came to watch the kids so I could help with it. I am proud to say that I have the fastest child in the whole 3rd grade!!! He ran 100 meters in 15.9 seconds! The next kid closest to him was 17 something.

tony--glad to see you back! Have fun this weekend!

ocm--hope you found a mower. just buy a couple of cows....no key needed!

ed--oh sure...blame your corn stalks on your neighbor!!

mac--hope you solve your sos!

mic--that's okay about the chicken....i have been awful this week...i need to get my butt in gear.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOLLOWING

You will not be subject to my incessant whining anymore...I GOT MY AIRFARE to return home from Phoenix! Ok, that's good news or bad I really was relishing the idea of just staying I got SW for $79 for each of us! Even cheaper than going out...it has dropped like $10 the outbound flight, but I can't see changing and going through all the hassle for 10 bucks...SEE, I knew holding out was gonna work in my favor. Figuring both segments, it is running around $188 round trip for each of us, which is a very good fare. Around $200 mark I consider fair and reasonable. YAY...now, I will have to live with the cattle call they call boarding, but..........it's all good.

KS, eat your pasta, just be careful and it shouldn't hurt you much. I've started buying/using the whole grain or wheat pasta, it supposedly is better for you. I might even partake in some spaghetti for dinner myself. Not sure if I will, but I'm thinkin' of it.....

Pam, congrats on having the fastest 3rd grader! Sounds like a fun day.....hey, it's 1/2 over, why bother being productive now...

Nope. 2 more weeks. They switched our schedule, though, so we're playing this week and next week at 8:30am instead of 11:40. It's not a big deal to me, since Ryan's usually up at like 6:30, but I'm hoping the new time doesn't mean having less kids show up -- we've been playing shorthanded every week so far as it is.

T-ball started last night with practice and those games start not long after soccer ends.

Congrats on having Speedy Gonzales for a son.

I have had an insane day. I had to go buy the teachers gifts..well, ok, I didnt really buy them. I bought them online from Restaurants.com and printed them all out and dropped the girls off at preschool. Anyway, then to the gym for an hour. Then, I went to the grocery store swearing I was only going to pick up a few things. $75 later, I came home determined to mow the lawn. Got that started and halfway through I had to stop to go get the girls. I finished when I got back then, I was fortunate enough that 4 different people sent me Mother's Day flowers. My house is a garden.

Pam - that is awesome about Noah.

Mic - WHOO HOOO!! About the airfare

Keisha - I got the SOS too, Enjoy your pasta!! It's our weekend we can do and eat whoever and whatever we want!!
